Abstract

Specifically, this research aims to know the effectiveness of REBT Group Counseling to improve the self-esteem of college students. The subjects in this research were students of the faculty of science education force in 2015 identified as having the characteristics of low self esteem. The population in this research is 742 people consisting of 5 courses. A sample of members of the population use purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used treatment material in the form of the implementation guidelines REBT group counseling and self-esteem scale that Rosenberg's self-esteem scale which has proven validity and reliability. The conclusion in this research is 1) There is an increase in self-esteem from 100% of college students have low self-esteem after being given the results obtained REBT group counseling 40% of college students in the moderate category and 60% in the high category. 2) Self-esteem increased after the college students is given REBT group counseling or could mean that the effective group counseling to improve the self-esteem of college students.The suggestion in this research is: 1) The suggestions for counseling and testing centers that REBT group counseling can be used as an help for students in problem solving. 2) The suggestion for further researcher is for further research in order to apply the techniques that are diverse in the REBT group counseling.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to get overview releted the characteristics of concept individual ideal councelor in perspective Bugis society. Because the scope of the comprehensive study focused on only one contained in the message or the Bugis community known as pappaseng (message).This value is the value of acca (skills) contained in pappaseng is one of the four qualities that must possess a leader.to achieve these objectives, this research using qualitative approach with data collection methods, analysis and interpretation follow the rules of hermeneutics Gadamer. While the data source get through the book. Silasa: Kumpulan Petuah Bugis-Makassar Karya A. Hasan Machmud based search source book, there is 5 pappaseng data that overview the characteristic from velue of skills. the fifth such data, there are eleven behavioral characteristics and then categorized into four characteristics, namely 1) Full of consideration, 2) Communication skills and problem solving, 3) Positive thinking and 4) steadfast in honesty. Suggestions for further research in order to explore further the local values that can be absorbed into the concept of personal characteristics ideal counselor typical Indonesian culture.

Abstract

Specifically, this research aims to present a picture of the effectiveness of peer support to increase self-discipline. The subject in this research is students of Junior High School 27 Malang that have low self discipline. The research instrument in this research is scale of self-discipline consists of 90 items, processed using time series design. The suggestions for this research is: 1) The counselor, the results and findings of this research can be used as information to help counselors to improve and develop services in schools; 2) For schools, this research can be expected to be used as information to improve students' self-discipline through the use of guidance and counseling services and peer support; 3) For students, peer support can be used to increase self discipline untill the students of Junior High School can achieve best development tasks; 4) Further researcher, this research data can be used as the material research to develop advanced research on a wider scope with regard to aspects of self-discipline. Abstract

Reproductive health is as a health condition not free ill disabilities,but good mental health or social helth be releted to with system function and process reproduction with self awareness. This study is pre experiment with one group pre tests post tests design. The subject of research 53 junior high school students throughout of Malang with the selection of subjects designated by counseling teachers retieving data using research instrument using a scale of self awareness of reproductive health.Treatment using modul increase self awareness of reproductive health. The finding of this study revearls is value t test 3.031 with sig .003. The average self awareness of reproductive health before 128.4151 and after treatment 178.1887 is different or there different self awareness junior hight school before and after treatment. Abstract

Academic stress is one type of stress as a result of instructional process or other stuff related to learning process. Several factors are known as the causes of the stress, such as the pressure to reach next grade, the amount number of task, the amount number of material, the target of minimum passing grade (KKM), bureaucracy, requirements to fulfill scholarships, desire to achieve a better career, exam anxiety and time management. The problem of the study is formulated as how is the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring technique to handle the students’ academic stress? The method applied in this study is quasi experimental study with single subject design which allows the researcher to determine the sample of the study based on certain criteria. The result of the study shows that t-value of hypothesis test was 6,084 with the level of sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 with df = 7, so that the t-table = 1,895 at the significance level (α = 0,05). It is said that t value ≥ t table which was 6,084 ≥ 1,895. Sum up, it is concluded that the cognitive restructuring technique is effective in reducing the academic stress of the 7 graders of MTs Sardji Ar-Rasyid Dawuhan Situbondo. Abstract

There are two principal issues to be studied in this research; what are the impact of dhikir habituation on students’ learning motivation? and how far the impact of dhikr habituation to motivate students’ learning in An-Nasyiin Boarding school Grujugan Larangan Pamekasan. Type of this research is correlative because it consists of two variables, as the independent variable is habituation of dhikir and as the dependent variable is the motivation to students’ learning with using a study population to 450 people. Thus, of population’s number more than 100 people, then this research conducted as sampling research by taking a sample of 25% with the following detail sampling 450 x 25% = 112.5 is rounded to 113. In addition, This study is using data collection instruments, observations, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis technique used in analyzing the data is a statistical technique with the formula Yule's Q. The research proves that there is a remembrance of habituation implications on motivation students learning at An-Nasyiin Boarding School Grujugan Larangan Pamekasan. The results of statistical analysis Yule's Q obtained 0.70 which showed a positive correlation between the two variables of this study. In other words, the hypothesis which states: "There are implications of dhikr habituation on students learning motivation of An-Nasyiin Boarding School Grujugan Larangan Pamekasan", accepted as true. To know how far the relationship between the two variables r consulted with the values Q, where r is working on a range of values more then 0.70, which means the impact or influence of both variables are strong significance. Abstract

Human life can not be separated from a communication, both verbal and non-verbal. Communication can take place in the context of interpersonal communication, interpersonal communication, group communication, organizational communication and also mass organization. Group counseling simulation technique is one way to reflect the realities of everyday life through the atmosphere to play and aims to help students learn about experiences related to social rules. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with simulation techniques to improve interpersonal communication skills class X SMA Al-Rifa'ie Gondanglegi. The population of this research is class X MIA 1 and X IBB of 2 students and a sample of 10 students were taken by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.00 for windows by Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test . The results showed that the interpersonal communication skills of students before getting treatment pretest showed an average of 65 with a low category, and after getting treatment posttest showed an average of 109 with high category with the percentage increase in average by 68%. Based on test results obtained Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test Z = - 2.807 with Asymp. Sig (2-tailed ) of 0.005 or less than 0.05. Which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted it can be concluded that there are differences in interpersonal communication skills of students before getting treatment and after getting treatment simulation. This indicated that techniques to improve interpersonal communication skills class X SMA Al-Rifa'ie Gondanglegi.

Abstract

UNBK is the toughest challenge to students of class XII. Some students are hesitant and anxious to face exams. This is what makes they need to develop resilience and self efficacy. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between self efficacy and resilience facing the exams. This research uses quantitative approach from / to correlational descriptive design. The subjects are the overall class XII students amounting to 182 students, so this research is a population research. Data were collected using a Likert instrument that measures self-efficacy and resilience facing exams. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, prerequisite test in the form of normality test, and correlation test. Based on the results of the research can be seen most of the class XII students in SMA Negeri 1 Trawas have the level of self efficacy and resilience facing exams on the medium. From Product Moment correlation test results obtained r calculate of 0.716 with a significance level of 0.000 which indicates that the self efficacy variables are positively correlated and significant with resilience facing exams variables.

Abstract

Delivery of words and verbal sentences are mental or psychological harm someone who was the target of an aggressive, such as snap, insult, humiliate, cursing, mocking, angry, and threatens. The use of the technique of sosiodrama aims to develop students ' cognitive and affective aspects so that in addition to studying the behavior of new students also have an understanding of good behavior and less good. This research aims to find out if the technique sosiodrama effective to reduce aggressive behavior in verbal students. The subject in this study amounted to 11 children. The method used is an experiment with the design of one group pretest – posttest design. The collected data is analyzed with a Wilcoxon. The results showed an average pretest score of 135.5 categories include very high, while the average scores posttest of 106.6 categories include medium, means there is a decrease. Wilcoxon test obtained based on the value significance of 0.003 0.05 sosiodrama technique < effective to reduce aggressive behavior in Junior High School students verbal Country 5 Kepanjen.

Abstract

The high anxiety level of students when facing the National Exam Computer-Based (UNBN ) caused the negative effect. Which come from the internal and external factor. The formulation of the problem is how much anxiety level of students when facing the UNBK, the purpose of this study is to know the anxiety of students when facing UNBK. The respondents are 44 students from grade 12 the majority of Computer and network technic year 2015-2016. The result of the research showed 7% of the students has low level of anxiety, 77% of the students have an average level of anxiety and 16% of the students have high level of anxiety. Variably, level of anxiety divided into 3 they are realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety and moral anxiety. The result based on the sub variable is the reality anxiety showed 16% of students in the low level, 59% in average level and 25% in high level. While the neurotic anxiety showed 2% in low level, 59% in average level and 25% in high level. The last, morality anxiety showed 27% in low level, 61% in average level and 11% in high level.
