Abstract

Anemia is one of the problems in Indonesia that important to examine, especially for pregnant women. This research used quantitative with explanatory design. Population were 44 pregnant women in 3 trimester selected by the total sampling technique. The independent variable were implementation of the antenatal care by midwives and dependent variable is anemia in 3 trimester of pregnancy at Puskesmas Sedayu I Yogyakarta. Data was collected using questionnaire. The analysis used was chi-square. The results of study showed that there was 33 (75%) of antenatal care in good category, with no anemia were 32 (72.7%) respondents, and there was a significant relationship between antenatal care and anemia in the third trimester of pregnancy with p-value=0.004. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between antenatal care and anemia in the third trimester of pregnancy. Suggestions were needed to maintain and improve the care of midwives in antenatal care to improve the health of pregnant women, especially anemia in pregnancy.

Abstract

Adolescent begins with puberty, that time of the occurrence of physical changes include and physiological functions such as the maturity of the sexual organs. The role of parents is very important to educate, supervise, give an idea how to solve the problem with being a role model and set a good example for adolescent, but it is rarely done by parents because of the background of the parents and the busyness of parents. The purpose of this study was to knowing relationship between role of parents with pre-marital behavior of adolescent in SMKN 1 Sedayu. This study was inductive quantitative using cross sectional design. Samples were students of class XII SMKN 1 Sedayu with 78 respondents. Sampling used simple random technique. Analyze used Kendal Tau. Kendal Tau analysis showed significant relationship between role of parents with pre-marital behavior in SMKN 1 Sedayu with p=0.000 (p<0.05) with the relationship weak r=0.399. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between the roles of parents with pre-marital sexual behavior of adolescent in SMKN 1 Sedayu.

Abstract

Posyandu elderly aims to monitor the elderly condition in particular area because the body condition and aging process. But not all were able to actively follow the elderly Posyandu activities by various factors. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors related to the activity of the elderly following the Posyandu activities. This study was quantitative, using cross sectional design. From 155 respondents, 75 samples was obtained by purpossive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using chi-square test and logistic regression. Chi-square test result in this study indicate the variables that have a relationship with liveliness elderly family support variable (p=0.001), service cadres (p=0.000) and service of health workers (p=0.000). While that does not have a relationship with the activity of the elderly is a variable job (p=0.570) as well as distance and access (p=1.000). The result showed that cadre services was most dominant relationship with the liveliness of the elderly. In conclusion, the factors that have a relationship with the activity of the elderly following the Posyandu activities are support families, services and service cadres of health workers. This study sugest, cadres should be more active to disseminate information concerning the elderly and increase the number of cadres Posyandu.

Abstract

Preventing of nutritional anemia among adolescents is low, as evidenced by student a senior high school of 2 Banguntapan which Fe tablet consumption during menstruation is still low. So that is necessary knowledge of Fe tablet during menstruation further more. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and the consumption of Fe tablets during menstruation in adolescent. Analytical survey research design with cross secsional, a number of respondents was 64 with a total sampling technique. Instrument by questionnaire on knowledge and Fe tablet checklist to determine Fe tablet consumption. Techniques of data analysis using fisher excact. The results showed that there are only eight respondents (12.5%) whose consuming Fe tablet during menstruation with enough knowledge category. The results of bivariate analysis by fisher exact p-value=0.321 it’s showed that there was no relationship between knowledge with the consumption of iron tablets during menstruation in adolescent.

Abstract

In 2012 the scope of exclusive breastfeeding in DIY were 48%, while in Bantul district as much as 62.05% in 2013. Breastfed which is first out after delivery called colostrum and very important given to infants, but many of postpartum mothers are less or not knowing about the importance of colostrum. The purpose of study was to know relationship between the knowledge level of postpartum mothers about colostrum and motivation of giving colostrum in Panembahan Senopati Bantul hospital, Yogyakarta. This study was an observational analytic with cross sectional design. Samples were 54 of postpartum mothers days 0 to 4 at Panembahan Senopati Bantul hospital, Yogyakarta which obtained by accidental sampling technique. Instruments used was closed questionnaire. Data analysis used Kendal Tau test. The data were analyzed by statistical correlation kendall tau obtained p-value were 0.000<α (0.05). The value of a correlation coefficient were 0.632. it mean that the connection was strong. In conclusions, there was a relationship between knowledge level of pospartum mothers about colostrum and motivation of giving colostrum in Panembahan Senopati Bantul hospital, Yogyakarta 2015.

Abstract

The problem of population is important big issues and urgent, primarily related with aspects of the quality of population control, improving the quality of population and mobility of population, if its associated with the potential threat of explosion of population. The purpose of this study was to know factors associated with unmet need family planning among reproductive age couples in Yogyakarta. This study used descriptive method. The populations of this study were all of reproductive age couples in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was done by probability proportional to size resulted on 779 respondents of reproductive age couples from 30 sub village in 30 village in Yogyakarta. The results of study showed that there was no significant relationship between respondent ages and unmet need, no significant relationship between wife education and unmet need, and no significant relationship between the number of children still live and unmet need.

Abstract

According to the 2012 Demographic and Health Survey of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) the number were 359/100.000 of live births. In DIY, MMR 2013 recorded 204/100.000 live births. In Sleman MMR were 19 cases. Maternal mortality is influenced by many factors one of which is anxiety that can affect the condition of fetus or mother. Results of baseline study of 13 respondents, 6 respondents in good knowledge, 7 respondents in enough knowled. However, all respondents are experiencing anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge level of risk factors delivery and anxiety level of facing delivery in pregnant women trimester III at Puskesmas Sleman, Yogyakarta. This study was used analytical with cross sectional design. Subjects of study was 120 third trimester pregnant women who checkups at Puskesmas Sleman Yogyakarta on March 4 to June 4, 2015. Samples were obtained by accidental sampling which consisted of 42 respondents. Data analysis used Pearson Product Moment. Results showed that most of respondents aged 20-35 years were 35 people (83.3%), as a House Wife were 18 respondents (42.9%), the level of knowledge in fair categories were 32 respondents (76.2%), the level of anxiety in worried categories were 27 respondents (64.3%), bivariate analysis r=0.091 and p-value=0.566. In conclusion, there was no significant relationship between knowledge level of risk factors delivery and anxiety level of facing delivery in the third trimester pregnant women in the health center in Yogyakarta Sleman.

Abstract

Patient safety is the absence of the danger posed to the patient can be prevented during the process of health care. One of the indicators of patient safety in pharmacy practice is the principle of the drug, this using the 6 principles of drug administration. Research using a mix method, this research occured in Puskesmas of Kasihan II on October 5-28, 2015. The respondents in this study were 2 pharmacists, patient and the head of the health center. Application of patient safety in drug delivery based on 6 principles correctly, showing 100% true with principles and expired, 78,5% true principles patient, 63,7% right drug, right dose of 94,1% and 25,5% correct information. Based on qualitative analysis, the application of patient safety based on 6 principles of drug administration were obtained, the officer checks the identity of the patient, adjust the dose, adjusting the recipe, provide drug-related information provided to the patient. Problems derived from the application of the 6 principles of drug delivery was 6 reciper identified were given much more than the actual dose, no places to store drugs that have expired, an imbalance between the number of patients pharmacist. Advice and hope that can be given is the addition of human resources in pharmacy and provide room for storing medicines that have expired.

Abstract

Stroke is a one of major problem in palliative care. Spiritual and depression assessment of the family is an important element in the process of palliative care for stroke survivors. The purpose of this study was to know the description of the spiritual well-being among stroke family caregiver family and its relationship with depression. This study used cross-sectional design. Spiritual well-being scale (SWBS) was used to see the spiritual well-being of the family and the Center for Epidemiologycal Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) to measure depression and was filled in by 44 Stroke families. The results of the study reported that the spiritual well-being of stroke family caregiver was in the high category and depression in the medium category. There was a relationship between the spiritual well-being of the family and depression in stroke patients (p=0.000). This study suggest a comprehensive assessment of the spiritual well-being and depression in stroke family and the need for future research about family interventions to decrease depression and increase spiritual well-being.

Abstract

Hands are the principal means of germs transmitting that causing diseases. Due to less of hand-washing habits, children become the highest sufferers of diarrhea and respiratory diseases, and its can end in death. Soaps have been reached to almost all of houses in Indonesia, but only about 3% that used soap every year. Approximatley the causes of died in 100,000 children in Indonesia were diarrhea, mostly in aged 5-14 years. Indonesia’s infant mortality rate was 32 per 1,000 live births. The mortality rate of nearly 19% due to diarrhea. Indonesian people’s behavior against five important time of handwashing with soap can be influenced by the level of knowledge, such a condition is evident in students SDN Ngebel Tamantirta, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The purpose of study was to determine the relationship between knowledge level of hand washing with soap attitudes before and after meals on student at SD N Ngebel Tamantirta, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study was inferential with cross-sectional design. The respondents were all students in grade 4, 5, and 6 SDN Ngebel Tamantirta Poor Bantul Yogyakarta. Samples included 96 people. Data were taken using a questionnaire. In conclusion, there was a correlation between knowledge level of hand washing with soap attitudes before and after meals on student at SD N Ngebel Tamantirta, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta.
