Abstract

Keberadaan Universitas Negeri Jakarta perlu dirasakan manfaatnya terutama untuk masyarakat sekitar kampus. Hal ini harus menjadi perhatian civitas akademika UNJ karena masih banyak terdapat elemen masyarakat yang memerlukan sumbang bakti untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat, salah satunya yaitu anggota PKK kelurahan Ciketing Udik kecamatan Bantar Gebang. Daerah yang sangat spesifik ini karena dekat dengan lokasi pembuangan sampah Bantar Gebang, kiranya membutuhkan perhatian khusus sebagai daerah binaan, di antaranya melalui pembuatan video pembelajaran Eco Printing. Eco printing merupakan salah satu teknik untuk mencetak ke bahan kain dengan ciri khas yang sangat ramah lingkungan karena menggunakan bahan-bahan alam saat proses pencetakannya. Referensi bagi keuntungan memiliki keterampilan membuat seni eco printing sebagai salah satu jenis keterampilan dalam seni printing menggunakan flora yang ada di lingkungan tempat tinggal, sehingga menghasilkan berbagai produk fashion, aksesori yang cantik dan bercita rasa seni.

Abstract

In general, housewives have a lot of free time that can be used for more effective activities. For this reason, it is necessary to strive for an activity that can be carried out by housewives that have economic value to provide additional family income. This community service activity aimed to improve skills of textile crafts for housewives who are members of the Integrated Entrepreneurship Development community. These skills are a provision for entrepreneurship so that members can have craft products and can market the results of the macrame crafts through an online shop. The service activity was carried out to facilitate housewives who have a strong desire to be able to help the family economy. The activity used the lecture method, learning by doing, and discussion. This training was guided by makrame craftsmen with the assistance of the committee. The service activity was carried out at the East Jakarta Creative Gathering Place. The result of this activity was that participants could make makrame bags and understand the marketing process through the online shop. This training received a positive response and assessment from the participants.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren Asy Syifa’ dan Ar Rahmah menerapkan pola “kepesantrenan” dengan fokus hafalan Al-Qur’an (tahfidul Qur’an). Santri menempuh pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Asy Syifa’ setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan dasar (SD) atau setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan setingkat SMP. Pondok Pesantren menyelenggarakan pendidikan formal keagamaan Islam setingkat SMP dan SMA. Setelah lulus pendidikan setingkat SMP beberapa santri memutuskan untuk berpindah tempat pendidikan atau berhenti mengikuti pendidikan, namun pada umumnya santri yang memilih berhenti sekolah, bekerja untuk menghidupi dirinya sendiri atau bahkan menanggung kehidupan keluarganya. Oleh karena itu, bekal ketrampilan untuk dapat berusaha mandiri sangat diperlukan oleh santri. Bekal ketrampilan hidup yang diberikan pondok pesantren masih sangat terbatas, karena tenaga pengasuh pondok mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak berkaitan dengan kewirausahaan. Persoalan prioritas yang diselesaikan selama kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah pengembangan pendidikan kewirausahaan kepada santri yang dilaksanakan oleh pondok pesantren sebagai sarana pembelajaran ketrampilan bekal kehidupan santri dengan usaha jamur tiram. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan usaha produksi, pelatihan pengolahan jamur tiram. Kegiatan tersebut mampu meningkatkan ketrampilan santri untuk mengusahakan jamur tiram dan juga pengolahan jamur tiram. Kegiatan ini mampu membangkitkan motivasi santri untuk berwirausaha. Kata kunci: Jamur tiram, pesantren, kewirausahaan

Abstract

As well as micro, small, and medium-scale business in general, business groups engaged in the food processed milkfish also face the problems, especially on the limitations of product quality and marketing. Two businesswomen who pursue food business of milkfish, namely Mrs. Eko with Pindang Bandeng “Warisan” and Mrs. Erni with presto milkfish “Prima”. In production aspects, both businesses are still limited because it only meets the society needs and sell at certain moments like, Sunday morning recitation and tiban market. From the results of the pre-survey and interviews can be identified several problems, such as: unavailability of equipment to produce high quality products, unavailability of attractive packaging to enter broader market, unavailability aspect of legality of P-IRT from Health Office for micro food business, lack of entrepreneurship, and the need for more intensive management assistance to enter the wider market.These issues have been assisted by the completion of the following activities: improvement of equipment, package and nameplate, P-IRT certification, training to cultivate entrepreneurship, promotion, and marketing management assistance. Dedication program with IbM scheme has been implemented and produced the output, such as in the form of packaged the processed of milkfish, brochures, business name-plate of Pindang Bandeng and presto milkfish with brand “Warisan” and “Prima”, and P-IRT certificates for both partners.Keyword: product, marketing, processed milkfish

Abstract

Dusun Klajuran masuk dalam kecamatan Nanggulan yang dikenal sebagai kecamatan PHP (Pengendali Hama Terpadu) yang sudah dideklarasikan sejak 5 tahun yang lalu melalui Dinas Pertanian Kulonprogo. Pembangunan kecamatan PHP didukung oleh semua pihak di tingkat kelurahan maupun Gapoktan (Gabungan Kelompok Tani) Tanjung Lestari. Gapoktan telah berkembang kurang lebih 4 tahun terdiri atas 12 kelompok tani dan 5 kelompok wanita tani (KWT). Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dusun dalam bidang pertanian. Metode kegiatan antara lain, jasa penyuluhan, Jasa pelatihan, Jasa pendampingan dan menghasilkan Produk dari pengolahan Biferia sebagai obat Hama/ wereng, pengolahan pupuk organik dari kotoran sapi dan hasil produk keduanya dimanfaatkan kembali oleh warga untuk pertanian organik. Hasil dan implikasi pemberdayaan masyarakat yakni produk olahan organik yang dilengkapi leaflet tentang proses pembuatan pupuk organik dan Biferia yang sangat bermanfaat bagi petani. Tumbuh sikap dan antusiasme petani untuk memetakan potensi wisata di Dusun Klajuran dalam bidang Agrowisata. Simpulan program, wujud partisipasi serta dukungan warga petani melalui program pertanian organik sebagai modal sosial untuk tindaklanjut pengembangan dan keberlanjutan potensi Agrowisata di Dusun Klajuran. Kata Kunci : pengembangan potensi masyarakat, pemberdayaan pertanian organik, pupuk organik, Biferia

Abstract

Packaging and marketing program of oyster mushroom and rice products is caused by the absence of pack-aging and marketing strategy of oyster mushroom and rice in Kanten, KebonAgung, Imogiri, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This program aims to increase productivity, packaging innovation and marketing of organic rice products and oyster mushrooms in the Kanten. Methods of implementation undertaken in this program include sosialization, training and mentoring by Community Service Team. Implementation of this community service has a target that is Sasono Catur Members of Farmers Group and Sekar Arum Members of Women Farmer Group. Materials provided include entrepreneurial materials with emphasis on packaging and online marketing of oyster mushroom and rice products. The results and discuss of this community service in the form of packaging of organic rice products labeled “beras sehat” with size 3 and 5 kg and oyster mushroom packaging labeled “jamur kanten crispy” that weighs 1-5 ounces. Marketing of organic rice and jamur kanten crispy in this community service is in the form of manual marketing by offering to store/ supermarket and online through shopee account. Abstract

The doers of micro small medium enterprises (UMKM) of Subdistrict Branch Office of Aisyiyah (PCA) in North Purwokerto have limited understanding and skills in the evaluation of management performance and financial management. These activities aim to improve the competence of the doers of micro small medium enterprises (UMKM) of PCA in North Purwokerto on the business development based on business feasibility study. The participants joining the accompaniment of the evaluation of management performance and financial management competence were 24 people. The methods used in the accompaniment were theory exposure and case study, business consultation, and the practice of the formulation of business feasibility study-based enterprises in groups. The results of the accompaniment show that the knowledge of the doers of micro small medium enterprises (UMKM) on the aspect of management and finance based on the business feasibility study improves.

Abstract

Food independence is an effort to fulfill the need of food for a family by themselves. The fulfillment effort of family need for food in independent way can be done on a limited land around the house, known as yard. Developing the yard for food plant becomes very important, regarding the fast conversion of food plant land into the non- food one. This phenomenon took place in Ngemplak Hamlet, Kembangarum, Donokerto, Turi, Sleman. There were many food plant lands in this area conversed into lands for salak pondoh (a type of snake fruit). So, yard optimization can be done by house wives joining in Family Welfare Program (PKK) who have spare time at home, because it is located around the house. The society empowerment in this program is conducted with methods or stages of socialization, technology transfer education (training, demonstration, and practice), and supervision as well as evaluation through the guidance for the program sustainability. The success of the society empowerment program is shown by the active participation of the society, the increase of the knowledge and skills of the PKK women, as well as the increase of land use of the society by cultivating vegetable and fruit.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are community associations that carry out entrepreneurial activities closely related to the economic field. Through MSMEs, it is easier for people to collaborate with one another. One of the villages that strongly supports the development of SMEs is Gilangharjo Village. The great numbers of local MSME actors in the culinary field have greatly advanced the village economy. However, almost every day these MSME actors produce various kinds of waste from merchandise production. These problems can actually be handled by processing waste into creative crafts with economic value. The purpose of the service program is to increase the economic value of waste as an additional income for MSME actors. The socialization, training, and marketing assistance were coducted to assist them. The results of the program show that MSME waste can be processed into trinkets in Gilangharjo Village, and potentially increase the income of MSMEs in Gilangharjo Village.

Abstract

Breast cancer is included in the five types of cancer that result in death. The reason is the delay in early detection so that survivors of this type of cancer are generally detected at an advanced stage. The community service entitled "PKM Knowledge and Early Detection of Breast Cancer in Women of Reproductive Age" aims to provide knowledge about the importance of breast self-examination (BSE) as an effort to detect breast cancer early. The method used is through online seminars via Zoom Meetings to 20 employees and their families at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, Muhammadiyah Asri Medical Center Hospital, Yogyakarta. The material provided was in the form of knowledge about women's health, breast cancer and its treatment, and training on BSE, which was preceded by a pretest to measure participants' knowledge before the seminar and a posttest at the end of the activity after receiving the seminar. The results of the pretest and posttest were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test method. The results of the pretest showed that 17 participants (85.0%) had sufficient knowledge about BSE and 2 participants (10.0%) had less knowledge. The posttest results showed that all participants (100.0%) had knowledge in the good category about BSE. The test results showed a significance value of 0.001 (p 0.05), which means that there was a significant increase in participants' knowledge about BSE as early detection of breast cancer before and after the seminar.
