Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integration between Islam and science within the higher education curricula of two prominent institutions: the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and a higher education institution in Islamabad. Using a qualitative approach with a comparative case study method, data were collected through document analysis, semi-structured interviews with faculty and curriculum developers, and classroom observations. The findings reveal that IIUM adopts a holistic approach through the concept of the Islamization of Knowledge, while the Islamabad institution emphasizes the connection between scientific discoveries and Islamic values by strengthening ethics-based curricula. Although both institutions demonstrate a strong commitment to integration, they face challenges such as secular paradigm resistance, limited resources, and the lack of systematically supportive literature. The implications of this study highlight the importance of collaborative curriculum design involving scientists and Islamic scholars, as well as the development of practical integrative models to ensure Islamic higher education produces both competent and ethically grounded scholars

Abstract

Supervision plays an important role in improving the quality of education in educational institutions, including madrasahs. This study aims to evaluate the role of supervision in enhancing the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Bireuen, to identify challenges in its implementation, and to provide recommendations for increasing supervision effectiveness. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data were collected through interviews with the principal and teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Bireuen, while secondary data were obtained from relevant literature. The findings indicate that supervision plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education in the madrasah. However, several challenges were identified, including difficulties in translating feedback into concrete actions and a lack of time for reflection and preparation. Recommendations for improving supervision effectiveness include developing a more collaborative approach, allocating more time for reflection and preparation, and enhancing communication and clarity regarding expectations and evaluation criteria

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the enhancement of human intelligence through three types of verses in the Qur’an: qauliyah (scriptural), kauniyah (cosmic), and insaniyah (human-related), using the Metacosmos, Macrocosmos, and Microcosmos theory. The research employs a qualitative method with literature analysis as the primary instrument. The research subject is the concept of intelligence from the Qur’anic perspective, while the objects include qauliyah, kauniyah, and insaniyah verses. Data collection was conducted through literature review, and data analysis applied a hermeneutic approach to interpret the verses. The findings indicate that a profound understanding of these three types of verses can enhance spiritual, intellectual, and emotional intelligence while strengthening human relationships with themselves, nature, and the Creator. The study concludes that integrating qauliyah, kauniyah, and insaniyah verses within the Metacosmos, Macrocosmos, and Microcosmos framework can serve as a foundation for holistic intelligence development.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to determine the competence of teachers in utilizing digital technology in developing madrasah accreditation. Then to find out how the implementation of digital teacher literacy culture. Methodology: This study is a phenomenological study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Collecting data obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model. Main Findings: This study shows that the competence of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Aceh Tengah is very good, supported by the existence of programs that can provide opportunities for teachers to participate in utilizing information technology so that the digital literacy culture of teachers in madrasahs grows well, these activities include filling out student report cards based on applications, digital research classes and the use of the "explore knowledge" application, in addition to supporting the development of digital literacy, school teachers also provide online application-based learning called e-learning. This program is also implemented well following accurate procedures by implementing a good management system. Supporting factors in improving teachers' digital literacy competence include the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure and internet networks. Abstract

The maintenance of school facilities and infrastructure plays a vital role in supporting an optimal learning process. This study aims to examine various maintenance strategies for school facilities and infrastructure based on the principles of environmental sustainability. Using a literature study method, the researcher analyzed a range of scholarly sources, educational policies, and best practices from both national and international educational institutions. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis techniques, focusing on thematic reviews of collected textual documents. Data were obtained using documentation techniques by gathering relevant sources from various academic platforms such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, DOAJ, and university publication portals. The findings indicate that effective maintenance strategies not only emphasize technical and functional aspects but also consider energy efficiency, waste management, the use of environmentally friendly materials, and the active participation of school communities. A sustainable approach to facility maintenance is believed to foster a healthy, safe, and environmentally conscious learning environment. The implications of this study offer strategic recommendations for schools and policymakers in integrating sustainability values into educational facility management

Abstract

This study discusses the curriculum development strategy at Jamiah Islam Sheikh Daud Al-Fathani (JISDA), Yala, Southern Thailand. The main focus of this study is to analyze the strategies implemented in the development of the curriculum to suit the needs of modern education and maintain Islamic principles. A qualitative approach is used in this study, with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that JISDA adapts various innovative strategies that combine religious and general science, and pays attention to local and global relevance. The main challenges faced are limited resources and adaptation to changes in Thailand's national education policy. This research provides recommendations for the development of a more responsive and sustainable curriculum in the future

Abstract

In educational institutions, of course, there must be good leaders in implementing and managing the educational environment effectively so that it can produce significant citizens and learning facilities, but in this study there is a problem, namely the lack of teacher competence in the use of technology in the teaching and learning process where the head of the madrasah still cannot provide access to training and seminars in developing teacher skills in the use of current technology. So this study examines the impact of the leadership process of the head of the madrasah to support the value of the madrasah at MA Ma'arif Al-Asy'ari, Pasuruan Regency, Gondangwetan District. Qualitative techniques are used in this study to present the empirical state of the progress of the madrasah and its implications for the value of education. Observations, interviews, and documentation based on school activity data are used as data collection techniques. Analysis of research results requires premises and formulates action planning based on research. The results of the study showed that the head of MA Ma'arif Al-Asy'ari, Pasuruan Regency, Gondangwetan District, still could not provide access to competency development in the use of technology in learning, but the head of the madin had conveyed motivation to teachers to utilize the use of technology, and could unite a sense of harmony between teachers and madrasah staff, as well as to be able to develop the quality of the madrasah to the community so that it becomes a good attraction. Therefore, this study discusses the revitalization of the head of the madin which has implications for the quality of the madrasah
