Abstract

Employee performance assessment is a critical component of human resource management in any organization. However, many organizations still rely on conventional spreadsheet-based methods that result in calculation errors, delayed reporting, subjective evaluations, and data manipulation risks. This study presents the development of a web-based employee performance assessment information system using PHP and MySQL. The system accommodates three user roles: administrator, assessor, and employee. Black box testing across sixteen functional scenarios confirmed that all system features operated successfully. The system provides standardized evaluation criteria, automated scoring, real-time reporting, and centralized data storage, significantly improving objectivity, efficiency, and accountability in performance assessments.

Abstract

Teknologi Augmented Reality mengalami perkembangan pesat dengan dua pendekatan pelacakan utama yaitu metode marker based tracking dan markerless. Kajian literatur ini menganalisis sebelas implementasi penelitian yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025 untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik performa, keunggulan, serta keterbatasan kedua metode pelacakan pada berbagai domain aplikasi. Metode marker based tracking mendemonstrasikan akurasi superior dengan tingkat kesalahan di bawah tiga persen dan stabilitas optimal pada lingkungan terkontrol, mencapai tingkat keberhasilan 72,2 hingga 77,8 persen pada berbagai perangkat. Namun terjadi degradasi performa pada jarak ekstensif dan kondisi pencahayaan spesifik. Sebaliknya, metode markerless menawarkan fleksibilitas eksepsional dengan tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 94,4 persen dan adaptabilitas luar biasa terhadap kondisi lingkungan beragam tanpa memerlukan penanda fisik. Metode ini terbukti sangat efektif untuk aplikasi medis, desain interior, pendidikan anatomi, dan manufaktur pintar. Tantangan utama meliputi ketidakstabilan spasial hologram pada pengaturan kompleks dan kebutuhan komputasi lebih tinggi. Inovasi yang mengombinasikan absolute pose regressor dengan visual-inertial odometry telah mereduksi kesalahan hingga lima puluh persen dengan kecepatan inferensi delapan puluh milidetik. Pemilihan metode harus mempertimbangkan kebutuhan akurasi, kondisi lingkungan operasional, keterbatasan perangkat keras, dan kompleksitas implementasi untuk mengoptimalkan efektivitas aplikasi AR.

Abstract

This research discusses the design of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based chicken egg incubator aimed at improving efficiency and productivity in the egg hatching process. The device utilizes a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity inside the incubator and employs an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller to regulate heaters and fans based on the obtained data. Internet connectivity enables remote monitoring and control through web-based or mobile applications. Test results indicate that the system can maintain temperature and humidity within optimal ranges, specifically between 38ºC to 39ºC for temperature and 72% to 73% for humidity. The implementation of IoT technology in this incubator is expected to enhance egg hatching success rates and reduce operational costs.

Abstract

Abstract Banda Aceh City's Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Department still handles personnel documents by hand using archive bundles. This presents a number of problems, including the possibility of losing crucial documents like employee biodata and decrees (SK), file accumulation, and search difficulties. In order to address these issues, the goal of this project is to develop and construct E-Bundel Staffing, a web-based personnel information system that supports organized, quick, and secure data administration through the use of the PHP CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. The research methodology is qualitative and combines a system development approach with a literature review, needs analysis, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) database design, application implementation, and black-box software testing. With varying access rights for staff, management, and department heads, the study's findings result in an application that may digitally record employee biodata, decree data, and educational histories. It has been demonstrated that this application increases the efficiency of archive administration at the Public Works and Housing Agency (PUPR) of Banda Aceh City, speeds up data retrieval, and reduces the possibility of document loss. Furthermore, This program facilitates the digitalization of local government administration by offering users convenient, real-time, and adaptable access to information at any time and from any location, depending on their needs. This approach improves the overall performance of the organization by making the personnel management process more accountable, transparent, and effective. Additionally, by introducing information technology applications in the public sector, this research helps to set the stage for other government agencies to establish personnel information systems. As a result, the findings of this study have academic value as a reference in the field of informatics, especially with regard to the deployment of web-based information systems to support contemporary and sustainable personnel administration governance, in addition to offering the PUPR Agency of Banda Aceh City practical advantages.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a C++-based RAM Cleaner application capable of optimizing memory usage by clearing unused memory allocations from running processes. The method used in this study is Experimental and Research and Development (R&D), involving testing on three types of laptops with different specifications. The main issue addressed in this research is how the design and development of a RAM Cleaner application can provide a tangible impact on memory savings and system performance improvement. This is based on the fact that many background processes in the Windows operating system use memory inefficiently, which can lead to system slowdowns and unresponsiveness. With the increasing use of electronic devices, efficient memory management is becoming more important to maintain optimal system performance. Test results show that the RAM Cleaner application can reduce memory usage by between 20% and 30%, depending on the number of running processes. Usage on a Lenovo (8OE1) laptop showed an efficiency of 13%, Acer Aspire 5 A514-51KG-34 reached 24%, and HP Victus 15-Fb achieved 6%.These findings indicate that the C++-based RAM Cleaner application is effective in improving memory usage efficiency and provides a significant contribution to better memory management on the Windows operating system.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 demands the integration of technological literacy such as the Internet of Things (IoT) into the educational curriculum. However, the main obstacles at the high school/Islamic high school level are the lack of affordable, practical, and context-appropriate IoT training media, limited school infrastructure, and competent resources. This study aims to develop an IoT dummy boom that can be used as a suitable IoT training media for use in learning. The development method applied is a 4D model with stages of define, design, develop, and dissemination. The use of the 4D model ensures quality control of the media. The results of the media feasibility test obtained an average value of 4.414 (on a Likert scale), which indicates that 92.45% of the total respondents agreed that the media is very suitable and feasible to use.

Abstract

With the convenience offered by Wi-Fi networks, cybercrimes targeting Wi-Fi passwords have become increasingly prevalent. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using fluxion portable as a tool for testing the security of WPA/WPA2-protected Wi-Fi networks. The research was conducted on a ZTE-F609 router using an action research approach to gain deeper insights into the method’s effectiveness. Fluxion portable operates by leveraging social engineering techniques, wherein attackers create a rogue access point that mimics the legitimate network. Through this social engineering method, unsuspecting users may enter their passwords on the rogue network. The findings indicate that fluxion portable is indeed effective in obtaining Wi-Fi passwords via psychological manipulation, which often goes unnoticed by users. These results highlight significant risks faced by Wi-Fi users, especially in environments lacking additional protections. To mitigate the potential threat of fluxion portable attacks, users are advised to hide their Wi-Fi network from public view or to use routers with enhanced security features, such as whitelist options. These recommendations are expected to improve Wi-Fi security and raise user awareness of existing potential threats.

Abstract

Digital transformation in personnel administration has become an urgent need in public higher education institutions, including at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. This study aims to develop a web-based employee attendance system that can improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of attendance recording and personnel administration processes. The research was conducted using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach and the Agile development method. The system was built using Java with the Spring Boot framework on the back-end, MongoDB as the database, and React.js on the front-end. The development focuses on three types of users: lecturers, permanent lecturers, and educational staff, with specific attention to different attendance location rules. The developed system includes several key features, namely GPS-based check-in and check-out attendance, an online application for leave and official duty, a finance menu that displays details of basic salary, net salary, deductions, remuneration, and meal allowance, as well as an interactive organizational structure visualization feature. All features were designed based on direct user feedback through an iterative HCD process. The development results show that the system is able to overcome the problems of manual attendance that have occurred so far and provides better transparency in personnel data management. This system is expected to serve as an initial step toward digital transformation of personnel administration at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh and can be replicated in other higher education institutions.
