Abstract

Resources that have been provided by nature have a potential to be developed to support human life. One of them is the coastal area that can be developed, namely Karanggongso Beach in trenggalek. This research examines social change that occurs as a result of development of tourism on Karanggongso Beach. The rapid development of tourism brings many changes to the condition of society (Ini yang berubah kebiasaan? Kalo iya tambahin habit dibelakangnya). This research focused on social change that occurred in 2010 - 2020 in line with the development of tourism in Karanggongso beach. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used in this research are interview, observation, and documentation. The results show tourism changes occurred since Karanggongso became accessible to local or non-local tourists.Changes that occur due to the existing facilities such as infrastructure improvement, attraction, various tourist rides, various photo spots, good kiosk arrangement and adequate sanitation. Due to facilities and infrastructures, attracted visitors, thereby causing cultural, interactional, and structural changes. Social changes that happen namely diversification of livelihood, division of labor, hospitality, education, language, lifestyles, and interaction with nature. Those changes can affect the sustainability of tourism and the condition of the community in the future so it needs to be guided and managed properly by all related parties.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of differentiation, product quality, and decision on buying coffee powder and drink of liberica product. The research was conducted on June to September 2022 at the Liber.Co Coffee Shop  (small size enterprises) in city of Sambas. The research is expected to provide information about the factors that influence on making decision in buying coffee powder and drink of liberica product. The research location was purposive. The method was case study with Slovin sample method. The sample size was 75 consumers. The data resources were primary and secondary data. The primary data was collected by observation, questioners, and interview.  The data analysis was descriptive with SPSS Windows ver. 24.0 as tool of analysing statistical data. The technique was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the differentiation, Product Quality, and Price influenced significantly on purchasing decisions for coffee powder and drinks of liebrika simultaneously. Partially, the differentiation of coffee powder and drinks of lieberika did not influence significantly. The quality of coffee powder of liebrica product influenced significantly, and coffee drink product was not influence significantly.  Price variable of coffee powder and drink of lieberica influenced significantly. The result of R square was 0.395 which indicated that 39.5% of purchasing decisions of coffee powder of lieberica were influenced by differentiation, product quality and price. The result of R square was 0.489 which indicated that 48.9% of purchasing decisions of coffee drink was influenced by differentiation, product quality and price.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the allocative efficiency of shelled corn farming in Bange Village, Sanggau Ledo District, Bengkayang Regency. Location selection is done intentionally. Data collection was obtained from the results of direct interviws with farmers with the help of a list of questions in the form a questionnaire. The analytical method used is the analysis of Cobb-Dauglas production function and allocative efficiency analysis. The results showed that the variables in the form of land area, seeds, labor, manure, urea fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, and gramaxone had an effect on the production of shelled corn. The level of allocative efficiency on the variables of land area, seeds, labor, manure, urea fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, and gramaxone have not been efficient.

Abstract

Grafting coffee is one of the rejuvenation activities on unproductive plants to become productive with the aim of increasing production. This study aims to determine: 1) coffee farmers' perceptions of the grafting system in coffee cultivation, 2) coffee production produced before and after the grafting system in coffee cultivation, 3) factors related to farmers' perceptions on the Grafting system in coffee cultivation, 4) the relationship between coffee farmers' perceptions of the Grafting system and coffee production, 5) the relationship between coffee farmers' perceptions of the Grafting system and coffee farming income. This research was conducted in North Dempo District, Pagar Alam City, South Sumatra Province. This study is a quantitative study with a sample of 64 coffee farmers determined by the formula for determining the sample (Sugiarto, 2003). The research data collection was carried out from March to April 2022. The method used was a survey method. Research data were analyzed descriptively, parametric statistics, and non-parametric statistics. The results of this study stated that: 1) coffee farmers' perceptions of the grafting system in coffee cultivation were classified as quite good, 2) there was a significant difference in production from before applying the grafting system, which was 886.16 kg and after applying the grafting system, which was 1.753 kg. . 3) the factors that are significantly related to the perception of coffee farmers on the grafting system in coffee cultivation are the length of farming and the availability of entres, while age, education level, farmer knowledge, farmer social interaction and ownership status are not significantly related, 4) coffee farmers perception on the grafting system is not significantly related to the production of coffee farming 5) Coffee farmers' perception of the grafting system is not significantly related to coffee farming income. Keywords: Perception, Production, Coffee Grafting System

Abstract

Banjarnegara adalah salah satu Kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang memiliki potensi alam yang besar, salah satunya untuk pengembangan pertanian singkong. Permasalahan petani seperti proses distribusi panjang, serta penjualan singkong yang murah dan terbentuklah Rumah Mocaf Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian dapat mengetahui pola kemitraan dan keterlibatan yang terjalin, menganalisis penerimaan dan pendapatan, mengetahui kontribusi usaha Rumah Mocaf terhadap perajin singkong yang bermitra, serta kendala perajin singkong dalam bermitra. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Proses pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel diperoleh 71 perajin mitra terdiri dari 34 perajin wilayah Bawang dan 37 perajin wilayah Purwonegoro. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Alat analisis data menggunakan Analisis Deskriptif Kualitatif dan Analisis Desktiptif Kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola kemitraan yang terjalin antara Rumah Mocaf Indonesia dengan perajin adalah pola inti plasma dan pola perdagangan umum. Penerimaan perajin terdiri penerimaan tetap dan bonus. Penerimaan tetap wilayah Bawang Rp1.300.000,00, bonus Rp440.000,00 dan wilayah Purwonegoro Rp1.200.000,00, bonus Rp350.000,00. Kontribusi kemitraan terhadap pendapatan perajin sebesar 66-70% bagi 8 perajin, 61-65% bagi 47 perajin serta 16 perajin lainnya dibawah 60%. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh perajin yaitu mengenai iklim dan cuaca.

Abstract

Branding menjadi salah satu cara yang digunakan produsen untuk mengenalkan produknya agar diketahui dan dibeli oleh konsumen. Komoditas kopi sebagai salah satu komoditas unggulan di Indonesia yang memiliki berbagai macam produk barang turunan dengan berbagai merk. Dalam skala lokal, pengembangan bisnis komoditas kopi ini juga dilakukan oleh salah satu desa di Jawa Tengah, yaitu Desa Balerante, untuk melakukan budidaya, pengolahan, dan pemasaran produk kopi lokal mereka sendiri yang dikemas dalam suatu strategi branding sehingga dapat dikenal dan sampai kepada konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi dan faktor keberhasilan Branding yang dilakukan oleh Desa dalam mengembangkan produk kopi sebagai komoditas unggulan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan FGD, wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desa Balerante melakukan dua macam branding, yaitu geographical branding dan retail branding. Sedangkan faktor keberhasilan dari branding kopi desa yang dilakukan antara lain adanya petani kopi milenial di desa, dukungan fasilitasi pemerintah desa, serta pendampingan dan pelatihan dari pihak luar.

Abstract

Gambir merupakan salah satu komoditi unggulan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dengan tingkat produksi yang bervariasi setiap waktu. Fluktuasi yang terjadi pada usahatani gambir mengindikasikan bahwa pengelolaan usahatani gambir sangat dipengaruhi oleh keberadaan risiko produksi. Hal ini akan berdampak pada preferensi petani terhadap risiko tersebut, dalam hal ini dikategorikan sebagai risk averse, risk neutral dan risk taker. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis preferensi risiko petani pada usahatani gambir di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Survey dilakukan pada 63 sampel petani yang melakukan kegiatan panen dan pengolahan getah gambir pada periode Januari-Desember 2021 dan sampel dipilih secara random sampling. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah model fungsi produktivitas frontier, fungsi risiko produksi dan fungsi inefisiensi teknis yang dikembangkan oleh Kumbhakar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata preferensi risiko petani gambir di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan adalah risk averse. Pada keseluruhan input produksi diketahui luas lahan, tenaga kerja, umur tanaman, dummy teknologi dan pestisida memiliki kecenderungan risiko yang risk Averse. Hanya input jumlah pohon yang memiliki preferensi risk taker.

Abstract

A healthy lifestyle is related to food consumption patterns, namely consuming organic food. One of the most commonly consumed organic food commodities is organic rice. Organic food products are cultivated without the use of chemicals. Changes in people's consumption patterns have led to an increase in demand for organic rice. However, at present, the productivity of organic rice farming is still low when compared to the productivity of conventional rice farming. The low productivity is thought to be caused by the inefficient allocation of production factors. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect organic rice production, examine whether organic rice farming in Lampung Province has been technically efficient, and find out what factors cause technical inefficiency in organic rice farming in Lampung Province. The location of this research is Beringin Kencana Village, Candipuro District, South Lampung Regency, and Purwokencono Village, Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency in July-August 2022. Sampling was carried out by census. The research method used is the Stochastic Frontier Cobb-Douglas production function. The results showed that the factors that affect the production of organic rice are land area, the number of seeds, and the use of organic pesticides. The average level of technical efficiency is 0.91. Factors that affect technical inefficiency are the age of the farmer, farming experience, and participation in extension.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan resiko usaha yang akan ditanggung oleh Paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa dalam menjalankan usaha olahan salak menjadi minuman sari salak dan manisan salak dengan mengetahui terlebih dahulu besarnya biaya yang digunakan, penerimaan dan keuntungan yang didapat. Penggunaan metode dalam penelitian ini berupa deskriptif analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan data primer yang diperoleh dari pengelola usaha di paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa dalam menjalankan usahanya mengeluarkan biaya produksi sebesar Rp. 15.877.400,- per bulan dengan penerimaan sebesar Rp. 18.112.284,- per bulan dan keuntungan sebesar Rp. 2.234.884,- per bulan. Sedangkan untuk hasil analisis kelayakan dengan 100% modal sendiri menghasilkan nilai NPV positif pada DF 10% sebesar Rp. 5.749.427,-, nilai Net B/C yang lebih dari satu, nilai IRR yang lebih besar dari tingkat suku bunga yang berlaku (10%) yaitu 14%, payback period selama 41 bulan atau 3 tahun 4 bulan untuk mengembalikan nilai reinvestasi yang digunakan sebesar Rp. 53.335.000,-. Break Event Point (BEP) yang ditentukan berdasarkan penerimaan  penjualan sama besarnya dengan jumlah biaya yang dikeluarkan menghasilkan nilai BEP harga jual minuman sari salak dan manisan masing-masing adalah Rp. 4.410,- per cup dan Rp. 3.308,- per cup. BEP produksi minuman sari salak dan manisan salak masing-masing adalah 130.649 cup per tahun dann 65.324 cup per tahun. Nilai ROI usaha paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa dengan 100% modal sendiri adalah 0,18. Hasil analisis risiko usaha dan batas bawah keuntungan usaha paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa menghasilkan nilai keuntungan rata-rata sebesar Rp. 101.106.900,- per tahun, nilai simpangan baku sebesar Rp. 251.389.154,- per tahun, koefisien variasi (CV) yang lebih besar dari 0,5 yaitu 2,49 yang artinya usaha yang dijalankan paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa memiliki risiko besar. Kemudian untuk nilai batas bawah keuntungan (L) sebesar minus 401.671.408 dimana angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa paguyuban Manunggal Agawe Santosa harus berani menangung kerugian sebesar Rp. 401.671.408,- setiap tahunnya.Kata kunci: Kelayakan usaha, Resiko Usaha, Salak, Wonokerto.

Abstract

Production of palm oil, especially crude palm oil (CPO) is increasing along with the increase in the number of oil palm plantations. The global market demand for this product has also increased its exports and competitiveness. This study aims (I) to analyze the development of Indonesia's CPO export volume in the period 2000 to 2020 (II) to analyze the factors that affect Indonesia's CPO export volume and (III) to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesia's CPO with Malaysia. The research was conducted in December 2021-February 2022. The research method used was descriptive quantitative method. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of time series for the period 2000-2020. The data used consists of CPO export volume, CPO production volume, international CPO price, sunflower seed oil price, CPO export value and Indonesian export value, CPO export value and Malaysian export value as well as CPO export value and world export value. Data sources were obtained from BPS, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and FAO. The results showed that the percentage growth of Indonesia's CPO export volume in 2000-2020 was 7% with a percentage growth of 12% export value, simultaneously Indonesia's CPO export volume was influenced by factors of CPO production volume, international CPO prices and sunflower seed oil prices which had an effect real and significant. The volume of CPO production and international CPO prices partially have a real and significant effect on the volume of CPO exports, while the price of sunflower seed oil has no partial effect on the volume of CPO exports. The average RCA index for Malaysia was 2.17 and Indonesia was 2.12, which shows that Malaysia has a competitive advantage and higher CPO export competitiveness than Indonesia.
