Abstract

One of the most important production factors in increasing production and productivity of agricultural commodities is fertilizer. Moment this still many farmers who have not understand about the card program farmer as tool in distribution fertilizer subsidized , so required strategy for Upgrade adoption card program innovation farmer . The research aims to analyze internal and external factors as well as strategies to increase the adoption of innovations in the use of farmer cards in the district Banyumas . The research method used is a qualitative method. The analysis carried out is IFAS and EFAS matrix analysis, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the internal and external factors of the farmer card program were in quadrant II, meaning that the alternative strategies used were building and growing strategies. This means increasing market share in the same market with more intensive marketing efforts, namely by assisting in more intensive distribution of subsidized fertilizers and product development by making economical packaging of subsidized fertilizers so that they are more attractive to the market. The results of the SWOT analysis include optimizing the role of institutions to provide clear and continuous information about innovations in the farmer card program, mentoring and counseling to improve farmers' knowledge and skills in implementing the farmer card program, developing product fertilizer subsidized for segment medium to lower that is with make packaging economical on fertilizer subsidized .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production factors of leek farming, analyze the efficiency of leek farming in PORKAB. Respondents amounted to 30 people with saturated sampling technique. To determine the effect of the use of production factors on leek farming using Cobb-Douglas analysis, and to determine the level of efficiency in leek farming using three parts of production inputs technically, allocatively and economically. The results of this study indicate that the factors that affect production in leek farming, namely vegetable pesticides, have a significant effect, while land area, labor, seeds, and manure have no significant effect on leek production. Technically, the area of land, seeds, manure and vegetable pesticides in leek farming is not technically efficient while the workforce is technically inefficient. The total value of technical efficiency, which is 1.017, is greater than 1, meaning that the proportion of additional production factors will result in greater production. Allocatively, labor and manure have an allocative efficiency value greater than 1, meaning that leek farming is not allocatively efficient. In the area of land, seeds and vegetable pesticides are smaller than 1, meaning that leek farming is not allocatively efficient. While economically on land area, seeds and vegetable pesticides are not economically efficient, while labor and manure are not economically efficient.Keywords: Efficiency, Prey Onion,  Production.

Abstract

The need for beef consumption in North Sulawesi is increasing disproportionately to the amount of production produced due to limited human resources for human resources of farmers. Empowerment of farmers is an alternative strategy, because it is a process to improve the business and welfare of farmers. The purpose of this research is to develop the concept of empowering beef cattle farmers in North Sulawesi as a strategic model towards the process of changing the rearing system from an extensive traditional orientation to an intensive commercial one. Data obtained from interviews with 50 respondents provided, with interview techniques, FGD, Library Studies and BPS support, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach, strategy formulation and Spearman Rank correlation to determine the significance relationship. The results of the analysis state that North Sulawesi has the potential for resources of the number of farmers it has as well as available land and animal feed production resources. So it is possible to make changes to the maintenance system. There is a significant relationship between the Counseling, Literacy, Institutional, Partnership, Entrepreneurship, Competitiveness, Production Facilities variables on Farmer Empowerment, interpreted as "Very Strong" correlation coefficient with the value of each correlation; 0.899**, 0.890**, 0. 650**, 0.803**, 0. 750**, 0.658**, 0.891**, where this indicates a priority factor in empowerment of beef cattle farmers in North Sulawesi. Furthermore, the strategy model is; participation, leadership, independence, sustainability based on modern extension, information literacy, cooperative farming, utilization of local production factors, entrepreneurship and market driving force development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh atribut produk, kualitas pelayanan dan lokasi terhadap keputusan pembelian ikan segar dan bagaimana dampaknya pada loyalitas konsumen di Pasar Besar Malang. Metode penelitian ini secara kuantitatif deskriptif menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Warp Partial Least Square (WarpPLS). Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner secara online, serta observasi lapang. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber terkait. Penarikan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan teknik nonprobability sampling dan terpilihlah 160 sampel sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atribut produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, lokasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dan keputusan pembelian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 membawa dampak perubahan pada berbagai hal, yang paling terlihat adalah pola hidup atau kebiasaan manusia. Masyarakat membatasi aktivitas di luar rumah, ketika keluar rumah harus sesuai dengan prokes supaya tidak tertular virus tersebut. Sehingga, mereka lebih banyak melakukan aktivitas apapun di dalam rumah, termasuk kebiasaan berbelanja. Belanja secara online menjadi pilihan karena dirasa lebih aman, tidak banyak berinteraksi dengan pihak lain. Masyarakat juga banyak menciptakan kegiatan yang menyenangkan agar tidak bosan berada di dalam rumah, salah satu kegiatan yang dipilih adalah bercocok tanam atau berkebun. Tanaman paling diminati adalah tanaman hias, yang membawa dampak harga tanaman hias melambung tinggi. Dalam mendukung daya beli masyarakat secara online, maka produsen tanaman juga harus mengubah strategi pemasarannya dengan menggunakan digital marketing. Maka diperlukan cara pengemasan yang tidak merusak tanaman tersebut, sehingga diperlukan bahan  pembungkus yang berlapis dengan spesifikasi tertentu seperti plastik. Bahan pembungkus ini meninbulkan bertumpuknya sampah yang berakibat pada pencemaran lingkungan. Dalam rangka meminimalkan dampak pencemaran lingkungan tersebut, maka produsen tanaman hias perlu menerapkan green product dan green packaging sebagai strategi pemasaran digital. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui respon konsumen terhadap penerapan green product dan green packaging sebagai strategi pemasaran digital khususnya penjualan tanaman hias dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap peningkatan penjualannya.  Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 responden dengan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis kualitatif menggunakan Partical Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh yang positif terhadap penerapan green product dan green packaging, namun tidak signifikan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan responden menjawab setuju pada variabel green product, green packaging, place, dan price, namun belum diikuti pembelian selanjutnya oleh konsumen.

Abstract

This study aims 1) To describe the marketing location of coffee powder in Muara Madras Village in Merangin Regency and outside Merangin Regency. 2) To find out the pattern of marketing channels for ground coffee agroindustry in Muara Madras Village, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency. 3) To find out the marketing efficiency channel for coffee powder in Muara Madras Village, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency. This research was conducted from 21 June 2021 to 02 July 2021 with primary and secondary data sources. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis with a sample of 3 agroindustry 19 traders. The results showed that 1) The distribution of marketing locations for ground coffee in Muara Madras Village from the total distribution of 70 percent of ground coffee marketing was in Merangin Regency, namely Bangko District and sales out of Merangin Regency, 2) Marketing of ground coffee in Muara Madras Village consisted of 3 marketing channel patterns, namely: (I) agroindustry - final consumers, (II) agroindustry - sub-district retailers - final consumers, (III) agroindustry - village retailers - final consumers. 3) Based on the marketing efficiency indicators with the marketing margin approach, the technical marketing efficiency index (IET), and the economic efficiency index (IEE) it has been explained that of the three marketing channel patterns, agro-industry I (agro-industry – end consumer) is more efficient in terms of the margin of the marketing pattern. I am more efficient because there is no price difference between agro-industry and end consumers and based on marketing efficiency, technical efficiency index (IET), and economic efficiency index (IEE) my marketing channel pattern is more efficient than other marketing channel patterns.Keywords: Marketing Distribution, Marketing Channel Pattern, Marketing Efficiency, Ground Coffee

Abstract

Sustainable palm oil management needs to be supported by all oil palm actors, both smallholders and oil palm plantation companies. PT Hari Sawit Jaya through the created share value program empowers independent smallholders around the company to become partner farmers to support a sustainable palm oil program. The present study aimed (1) to find out the factors that influence the intention of farmers to carry out sustainable palm oil management and (2) to determine the effect of intention on the behavior of partner farmers. The population was composed of partner farmers PT Hari Sawit Jaya located in Labuhan Batu district, North Sumatra of whom 90 farmers were sampled using the cluster proportional random sampling method. The research instrument was s questionnaire Data was analyzed by SmartPLS. Results showed that attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control, moral norms, and knowledge had a positive effect on farmers' intention to manage sustainable oil palm and the intention had a positive effect on farmers' behavior. However, there are sustainable palm oil management behaviors in accordance with good agricultural practices that have not been carried out by partner farmers to plant oil palm on peatlands and have not used certified seeds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) tingkat penggunaan alsintan oleh petani dalam usahatani padi sawah ; 2) faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan alsintan dalam usahatani padi sawah; 3) perbedaan produktivitas sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan alsintan dalam usahatani padi sawah; dan 4) perbedaan pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan alsintan pada usahatani padi sawah.  Penelitian ini merupaan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitaif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Semuli Jaya, Kecamatan Abung Semuli, Kabupaten Lampung Utara, Provinsi Lampung dari bulan Maret-April 2022.  Penentuan responden dilakukan secara proporsional dengan rumus Sugiarto (2003) diperoleh sampel sebanyak 70 petani yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu 35 petani pengguna alsintan dan 35 petani pengguna non alsintan.  Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan pembagian kuesioner pada bulan Maret-April 2022. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, korelasi rank spearman, dan uji independent simple t-tes.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) penggunaan alsintan di Desa Semuli Jaya sudah digunakan dengan baik oleh petani dalam melakukan kegiatan usahatani; 2) faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan alsintan oleh petani adalah pendidikan formal, pengalaman usahatani, motivasi petani, luas lahan, dan status kepemilikan lahan; 3)  rata-rata produktivitas usahatani padi sawah pengguna alsintan sebanyak 5,91 ton/ha/musim, sedangkan rata-rata produktivitas usahatani padi sawah pengguna non alsintan sebesar 4,41 ton/ha/musim; 4) rata-rata pendapatan usahatani padi sawah pengguna alsintan sebesar Rp 10.267.440,00/ha/musim, sedangkan rata-rata pendapatan usahatani padi sawah pengguna non alsintan sebesar Rp 5.663.886,00/ha/musim.

Abstract

Sistem pemasaran produk-produk pertanian telah mengalami perubahan besar atau mengalami transformasi. Transformasi dalam bentuk liberasi pasar menyebabkan hambatan perdagangan (tarif dan non-tarif) menjadi berkurang. Hasilnya, impor pangan meningkat dan ketersediaan bahan pangan bertambah, tetapi persaingan yang dihadapi oleh produsen domestik juga meningkat. Petani kecil secara individual, karena masalah inefisiensi produksi dan pemasaran, tidak mampu merespons dengan baik transformasi pasar tersebut, namun petani punya peluang bila mereka bertindak secara kolektif, misalnya melalui organisasi petani. Penelitian ini bersifat kajian literatur dan memiliki dua tujuan: (1) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendorong terjadinya transformasi pasar produk pertanian, dan (2) menganalisis respons yang perlu dilakukan oleh organisasi petani terkait perubahan besar di pasar tersebut. Berdasarkan tinjauan literatur, faktor-faktor pendorong transformasi pasar antara lain globalisasi dan dominasi pasar pertanian oleh aktor swasta global; urbanisasi dan meningkatnya pengaruh jaringan supermarket; dan perkembangan di tingkat regional dan global. Paling tidak ada empat strategi inovatif sebagai respons organisasi petani terhadap transformasi pasar tersebut. Pertama, organisasi petani perlu terhubung dengan pasar khusus (niche market) untuk komoditas ekspor. Kedua, perlu ada pengaturan kemitraan jangka panjang yang melibatkan pedagang internasional dan organisasi petani untuk memasarkan komoditas ekspor. Ketiga, perlu ada lembaga pasar yang inovatif (seperti resi gudang dan sistem lelang komoditas) untuk mengakses pasar utama bagi ekspor pertanian. Keempat, kerja sama dengan ke supermarket lokal dan regional. Kelima, diversifikasi ke tanaman atau produk bernilai lebih tinggi. Strategi-strategi tersebut mungkin dapat berjalan dengan baik jika ada komitmen dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan pertanian di Indonesia dan  lingkungan kebijakan dan peraturan yang mendukung.

Abstract

The fisheries sector is one sector that has great potential in improving the economy. To increase the income of fish cultivators, farmers need to manage their business results better before they were marketed or sold. The welfare level of fish farmers was still low, this is not because the selling price of fish is low, nor is it because of the large number of imported fish, but rather due to the government's lack of attention to the fishery sector, especially freshwater fisheries. This study used a descriptive method, which was conducted in the Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The selection of the research area was carried out in purposive method. Determination of the research sample using the snowball sampling method. Collecting data using interview method using questionnaires to obtain primary data and documentation method to obtain secondary data. The data analysis method used descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis using a triangulation technique approach that tested the validity of the data using methods, sources, and theories. The results showed that the factors that significantly influenced the income of fish farmers in Nagari Andaleh, Luak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency were the number of harvests (X1), land area (X2), production costs (X5), and the selling price of production (X6).  While the factors that do not affect the income of rice farmers are farmer education (X3), farmer age (X4) and other occupations (X7).
