Abstract

Comodities farming system is the farming system management whith a commodity whose primerly planting which coverage by the sub-systems or other commodities arranged with characteristic and specificly and integrated toward that commodity. The research location in slope of Sumbing mountain which have tobacco aromatics with high nicotin and tar. The sample are sub-village to trade off phenomena analyzes with purposive sampling and the data are intensively take in sub-village farmer with proporsion sampling. And anlysis in power function regression model.Sumbing slope land area have 2 character agroclimate. High land area have longer time harvaest commodities than midle land area and have dry season whose can not planted with economic commodities except tobacco. Phenomena of trade off on high land area not happen in changing comodities farming system but not in midle land area. The tradeoff phenomena were midle land area in changging of cabbage farming system with tobacco farming system, but not for other system. Increasing of cabbage farming system area whose indicated decreasing tobacco farming system area caused decreasing in input use by farmer on that area but not for economic produktivity land.Keywords: commodity farming system, tradeoff phenomena.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the important role of livestock population data with the detail the composition according to age and gender in planning the provision of meat in the province of Papua in particular to correlate the number of mother cows and cattle are ready to cut the amount of output produced in a given year. Problem-solving method using descriptive analytical approach to the tabulation and analysis tools OLS. The sample of 189 respondents used. Sample areas in Manokwari. The results showed that the relationship of parent and output data beef cattle that could be used for planning the achievement of the adequacy of the best of the best beef in West Papua obtained from the parent relations cow - calf male (age <1 year) with a number R2 0.822, with a coefficient of relationship 0.442. To produce a ready cattle bulls (age> 2 years) in the year amounted to 2.26 t required parent tail invested two years earlier.Keywords: Population Composition Data, Mother Cow, calf (Output)

Abstract

This research analyzes the system of food expenditure based on the household food security level in Central Java. The household food security levels are classified into four levels, consisting of food-secure, food-less secure, food-vulnerable and food-insecure. The data used are the Susenas data in the form of raw data. The results show that there are significant differences in the proportion of food expenditure among the households of food-secure and food-less secure to the households of food-vulnerable and food-insecure. In each level of household food-secure, household expenditure on instant foods and drinks shows the highest proportion compared to other food groups. The more insecure foods in a household, the higher expenditure proportion for tobacco. In each household group based on the level of food-secure, the households in urban areas have a smaller proportion of rice expenditure compared to the households in rural areas. Based on these results, hopefully the handling priority for the foodsecure problem should be better given to the household groups of food-vulnerable and foodinsecure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Komunikasi Interpersonal dengan Iklim Organisasi Pada Pegawai SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala komuniikasi interpersonal dan skala iklim organisasi. Subjek penelitian adalah sebanyak 21 pegawai. Teknik analisa data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Kendal tau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan iklim organisasi, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,754 dan R² sebesar 0,529, dan F sebesar 148.32, Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal memiliki pengaruh sebesar 52,9% terhadap pembentukan iklim organisasi.Kata kunci: komunikasi interpersonal, iklim organisasi, pegawai

Abstract

In 2012, the upland area in Karanganyar Districtreached 45.11% of agricultural land. The farmer problems are technical (erosion, soil fertility, water availability) and economic (fluctuation of production, pricing and income). They take off farm acivity in order to increase household income.The main objective of the study is to determine (1) farming cost andincome, (2) the diversity and contribution of off farm activity, (3) household income (4) consumption and investment of upland farm household.Based on altitude and proportion of upland area, the study was carried out in Jatiyoso. Respondent of 60 farmers was drawn randomly from Wonorejo village. The methods is descriptively analysis were applied to explain economic behavior of upland farm households. In average, the cost of upland farm is Rp 4.9120.720 and income Rp 13.716.773 in a year. Contribution of off farm activity (45,92%) more than upland farming (37,47%). Excess income are prioritized for investment to buy land and livestock. Food consumption from production itself reaches15,55 %. Abstract

Capital is one of the important aspects in the development of farming system because with large capital, it is expected that the farming will run more and provide welfare for farmers who do the farming. Capital can be obtained from external sources by using loan. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the decision of farmers to use loan at Rice-Fish farming in Seyegan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. In this research, data were collected from 50 respondents by questionnaires and interviews with proportional sampling method where 25 respondents were taken from Margodadi Village, Seyegan District and adjusted to take 25 respondents from Margoluwih Village, Seyegan District.  To analyze the factors that influence the decision of farmers using loan used Binary Logistic Regression Model. Partial test result shows that variables influence farmer's decision to borrow money are farmer’s education level, land area, the use of fish seeds, and loan procedures.

Abstract

This article aims to address the importance of non-formal financial institution role toward the social mobility of fisherman as well as the development of Indonesian small scale fishing sector. This institution can be an individual entrepreneur or financial agent, which provides credit or other stimulus. From qualitative approach, the social mobility of fisherman and the development of fishing is a consequence of economic relations complexity. However, the role of non-formal financial institution is a dominant factor. This institution is important and always needed as far as the formal financial institutions have not been able to provide opportunity for all fishermen to access the capital. The compatibility of formal finance system and socio- economic characteristics of fishermen is an important factor to encourage the increase of formal finance system role in fishery. Abstract

Artikel ini mengetengahkan pentingnya peran pembiayaan nonformal pada usaha perikanan tangkap nelayan Muncar dan Bitung. Seperti halnya usaha perikanan tangkap di daerah lainnya di Indonesia, usaha penangkapan ikan rakyat di Muncar dan Bitung juga merupakan usaha padat modal. Dari aspek pemasaran, usaha penangkapan ikan  rakyat  di  ke  dua  daerah  ini  telah  berkembang  pada  tataran  komersial.  Pendapatan  nelayan  sedikit  banyak sudah dapat diprediksikan, meskipun usaha penangkapan ikan yang ada masih bersifat spekulatif. Peran “Bos” sangat penting dalam pembiayaan nelayan skala kecil selama lembaga-lembaga pembiayaan formal masih enggandan belum menjangkau nelayan. “Bos” adalah individu atau perusahaan finansial yang bergerak dibidang usahaperikanan tangkap, dan tetap diperlukan sejauh belum ada institusi lain sebagai penggantinya.

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan mengungkap pentingnya sistem musyarakah dan bagi hasil pada usaha perikanan tangkap. Dari perspektif syari’ah dan analisa kualitatif, terbukti bahwa musyarakah dan bagi hasil merupakan faktor penting yang mendorong berkembangnya usaha perikanan tangkap.Usaha penangkapan ikan laut merupakan usaha padat modal, serta beresiko tinggi, sementara modal usaha bagi nelayan masih merupakan kendala besar. Musyarakah merupakan sistem yang dikembangkan nelayan dalam mengatasi kesulitan pengadaan modal usaha yang mereka hadapi, sementara bagi hasil merupakan sistem pengelolaan terhadap pendapatan mereka yang tidak teratur. Kedua sistem tersebut melembaga sebagai hasil adaptasi nelayan terhadap usaha yang mereka lakukan yang padat modal dan beresiko tinggi. Pemahaman terhadap kedua aspek tersebut sangat bermanfaat sebagai dasar kebijakan pengembangan usaha perikanan tangkap.
