Abstract

This study aim to describe the process of developing islamic education learning media using Lectora Inspire based on it’s validity and usability. This study was conducted in SMA Negeri 4 Berau. The characteristic of this study is research and development. The model of development that is applied in this research is ASSURE model. This study successfully developing the islamic education learning media using Lectora inspire, spesifically described by, (1) validation as islamic learning media is obtained by: (a) validity score of the content as a learning media is 91% and categorize as very good, (a) validity score from ICT expert as a learning media is 79% and categorize as decent, and (c) validity score from education technology expert is 84% and categorize as decent; (2) usability as the learning media is obtained by: (a) analyzing the result of learning with RPP fulfilled score of 85% and categorize as decent, (b) any obstacle are resolved, (c) response from the student is scored 81% and categorized as positive. Theoretically this study can increase our reference, information and understanding of Islamic education learning method. On the implementation, this study contributes to support student achieving the objective of islamic learning, as well for teachers to carry out the effective teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe which improvements improve learning outcomes by increasing contextual spending on class VIII 5 of SMP Negeri 1 Pringgasela. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pringgasela. The action phase is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings while meeting 1 implementation of the action and 2 cycle cycles. The results of this study can be concluded that the increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 67.86% and the second cycle was 85.71%, while the increase in the ratio in the second cycle was 17.85%, this means that it is related to the application of simultaneous contextual learning support can improve student learning outcomes on citizenship subjects. This relates to the results of observations of student learning activities in the "Good" category and the results of observations of teacher activities in the "Very Good" category for cycles I and II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the career decision-making of adolescents at Al-Inayah High School in Bandung based on gender differences. Research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data measurement tool is a scale questionnaire developed by Vincent A. Haren, Ph.D based on indicators of Career Decision. The research participants were students of class X, XI and XII of the Aliyah Al-Inayah Bandung Madrasah School for Academic Year 2017/2018, which consisted of 104 participants consisting of 76 women and 28 men. Based on the results obtained, the average score of career decision making for male sex is higher than female sex. The average score of men is 2.96 while women score 2.92. There are significant differences in career decision making for male gender and female gender.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa dengan menggunakan metode Pemecahan Masalah  dan grup investigasi, 2) Perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa dengan aktivitas  tinggi dan rendah, 3) Perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir tinggi dan rendah, 4) Interaksi antara penggunaan metode Pemecahan  masalah dan grup investigasi dengan aktivitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar, 5) Interaksi antara penggunaan metode Pemecahan Masalah dan grup investigasi dengan kemampuan berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar, 6) Interaksi antara aktivitas belajar dengan kemampuan berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar, 7)  Interaksi antara penggunaan metode Pemecahan Masalah dan Grup Investigasi dengan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling, dengan satu kelas diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran GI  dan satu kelas diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran Pemecahan Masalah.`Analisis data dengan menggunakan Anava tiga jalan dengan taraf sifnifikasi 5%. Dari analisis data diperoleh : 1) Terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa dengan menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah dan grup investigasi, 2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa dengan aktivitas  tinggi dan rendah,  3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir tinggi dan rendah, 4) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah dan grup investigasi dengan aktivitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar, 5) tidak terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah dan grup investigasi dengan kemampuan berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar, 6) tidak terdapat  interaksi antara aktivitas belajar dengan kemampuan berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar, 7)  tidak terdapat interaksi antara penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah dan grup investigasi dengan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan berpikir terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning to re-express the biographical contents of characters. The study design uses descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are in the form of learning to reveal the biographical contents of the characters by students and student participation as well as the ability of students to express the biographical contents of the characters. Biographical texts used in learning, namely: 1) biographical texts that have character, 2) biographical texts that have religious value, 3) biographical texts that have services / works, and 4) biographical texts whose field of expertise is able to provide motivation for students. From some of these criteria, then in this study the biographical text used, namely: B.J. biography text Habibie, Ardian Syaf, and George Saa.  Then, based on the results of the data analysis, several character values from the three figures were obtained, such as: firm, determined, hard working, independent, disciplined, fond of reading, responsibility, creative, curiosity, appreciating achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a storytelling guide to improve the self-discipline of RA / PAUD / TK students who have fulfilled the theoretical and practical aspects of acceptance. The development of storytelling guidelines to improve the self- discipline of RA / PAUD / TK students is an adaptation of the Borg & Gall (1983) research and development model, which was modified into three stages: 1) phase I: assessment and literature study, 2) phase II product development: formulating competency goals and standards, compiling indicators, compiling initial drafts, 3) phase III (testing): product validation (guidance and counseling expert, instructional media development expert, & user), and effectiveness testing in limited fields. Data collection instruments used were: product assessment questionnaire and self-discipline checklist. Quantitative data were analyzed by non-parametric statistics, while input / criticism / suggestions from experts were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the assessment of theorists and user experts, of the storytelling guide to improve the self-discipline of RA / PAUD / TK students, have fulfilled the theoretical and practical acceptability element. The results of field trials show that this practical and effective storytelling guide is used to improve self-discipline.

Abstract

AbstractThis research and development aims to describe the design and feasibility of the quality of English teaching materials for junior high school students. The research uses five out of ten stages based on Gall Borg & (2007) determination of the stages of research including: (1) research and information collecting, (2) planning, (3) developing preliminary forms of product, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision. The researchers get an evaluation of learning material from several evaluators. The results obtained show that almost all opinions are in agreement and agree. 33.33% of evaluators agree that infographic can generally help students understand the lesson. The remaining 66.66% of students strongly agree. The evaluator agreed that graphs and drawings were broadly related to teaching material. All evaluators also agreed that the material was interestingly designed. This shows that all evaluators agreed in accordance with the statement instrument. Thus, the product results can be used by teachers in helping students in the learning process.

Abstract

One of the mathematical material in class VII SMP is Persamaan Linier Satu Variabel (PLSV). Students experience obstacles. Distinguish ideas that belong to concepts and not concepts, and incorrectly define mathematical concepts. If thuis continues, there will be on going students 'misconceptions on material of the linear equation of one variable in class VII SMP N 2 Sebawi and the factors that cause students' misconceptions. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Subjects were 42 students. The result of data analysis showed: (1) the form and percentage of misconception that most students had, namely 85% of students could not distinguish examples and not PLSV examples and not PLSV examples, 97% of students ignored the equivalent simbol (?) in the PLSV competions process, 71,4% used procedures that are not in accordance with the conditions of completion, 66.7% of students incorrectly determine the number sign, 95.2% of students use the term move segment, 47.6% of students incorrectly determine the results of integer operations, 95.2% of students ignore the PLSV completion requirement, and 64.3% of students made inferences without the correct supporting reason: (2) The percentage of factors that cause the most students' misconceptions is 71% caused by students' preconceptions or false concepts, 71.4% is caused by students' associative thingking, and 90.3% is caused by incomplete reasoning.

Abstract

This study is aiming at describing the activities committed by teachers to improve the content standard of national education by designing the inquiry based learning. Method applied in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study are the teachers of SMAN 2 Selong. To obtain the preliminary data, this study utilizes the analysis toward the result of the evaluation of education quality reported by the institution of quality education assurance  so called LPMP (Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan) at Province of West Nusa Tenggara. For attaining the qualitative data, the author uses instrument of observation during the workshop and supervision. The result of the study shows that there is an improvement of the quality in the planning the design of teaching and learning as well as implementing the program. It is recommended that teachers should be more active in trying to improve the quality of the administration equipment of teaching in order to get the better result.

Abstract

Indonesia began to be affected by Covid-19 in early 2020, of course, this will give changes to all sectors of life. One sector that has also felt the impact is the education sector. On March 24, 2020, the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued a government circular number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policy in an Emergency for the Spread of COVID, by stipulating the provisions of the teaching and learning process starting from tertiary to basic education levels to be carried out online or learning at home. This distance learning course provides new challenges for teachers, students, and parents, in its implementation. This research aims to find out more clearly how the distance learning process and what obstacles are faced by teachers, students, and parents at SDN 3 Banjar Sari during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. This type of research uses a multi-case study design. Research results: the teacher has tried to do several learning methods, but until now there is no method that is considered the most effective in the teaching and learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. Each method used by the teacher does not escape from various obstacles and shortcomings. Even so, teachers still try their best to carry out their duties in order to realize the goals of education.
