Abstract

Vocabulary as one of language components becomes a vital part in mastering language, especially English as a foreign language. Without having sufficient vocabularies, it is impossible for students to be able to communicate and use language well. Song which is integrated with picture is believed to be able to enlarge the students’ vocabulary mastery since both song and picture can acquire students’ curiosity and attention and able to encourage them to enjoy learning. This research was carried out to improve the fifth grade students’ vocabulary achievement through song integrated with picture at MI UNGGULAN AL ISHLAH Tembokrejo - Muncar - Banyuwangi. The research design applied was a classroom action research (CAR) in collaboration with an English teacher which was conducted in two cycles. The data was collected from interview, observation and test. The research result revealed that there is an improvement on the students’ vocabulary test and their active involvement during learning process in cycle 1 and 2. The mean score of vocabulary test increased from 69.9 in cycle 1 to 76.38 in cycle 2 and more than 75% of the students involved actively in the vocabulary teaching learning process in cycle 2. It met the target criteria of success which means that song which is integrated with picture can enlarge students’ vocabulary achievement and make students more enthusiastic in classroom.

Abstract

Gejala menguatnya anti keragaman dan intoleransi akhir-akhir ini telah menggugah keprihatinan kita sebagai anak bangsa. Gejala ini secara tidak sadar juga telah merasuk dalam praksis pendidikan. Aksi kekerasan dan tawuran antar pelajar, eksklusivitas kelompok-kelompok berdasarkan kategori sosial berdasarkan etnis, budaya dan agama tertentu merupakan gejala anti keragaman dan intoleran yang jamak terjadi dikalangan siswa. Gejala anti keberagaman dan intoleransi seperti itu dapat mengancam aggregasi sebagai bangsa yang berasaskan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Padahal tugas pendidikan adalah menfasilitasi dan penyamaian nilai-nilai toleransi, keberagamaan, berpandangan inklusif dan menghargai perbedaan yang harus dikembangkan menjadi bagian budaya sekolah atau madrasah. Disinilah pentingnya pelajaran sosiologi dalam membawa misi inklusivitas dan toleransi melalui pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1). Menanamkan dan mempraktekkan nilai-nilai keberagaman dan toleransi dan kepada siswa-siswi sebagai social capital dalam membangun budaya multikultural ditengah masyarakat. 2). Melalui pembelajaran Sosiologi, penulis ikut berkontribusi dalam penyemaian nilai-nilai toleransi dan keberagaman agar siswa-siswi memiliki watak inklusif dan toleran. 3). Menjadikan ruang kelas sebagai social lab  dalam praksis kehidupan bertoleransi.  Penelitian ini jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.  Sedangkan lokasi penelitian di MA NW Pancor karena sekolah ini merupakan sekolah homogen dimana siswa-siswinya berlatarbelakang agama, etnis dan budaya yang sama agar mereka mendapat perspektif keberagamaan sebagai bagian dari kebangsaan mereka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa pembelajaran sosiologi dengan menggunakan permainan dadu pintar dapat mengubah minset dan perilaku  siswa yaitu, siswa yang sebelumnya eksklusif berdasarkan kesamaan etnis dan intoleran berubah dan menyadari akan pentingnya bersatu dalam perbedaan, berpandangan inklusif, menghargai perbedaan antar sesama yang berbeda agama dan etnis. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil pre tes sebelum pembelajaran dimulai yaitu 68% siswa-siswi memiliki sikap toleran terhadap sesama yang berbeda suku atau agama. Sedangkan 32% memiliki sikap intoleransi dan sikap etnosentrisme yang kuat. Setelah akhir pembelajaran kemudian siswa diberi post tes dengan soal yang sama hasilnya menunjukkan 92 % siswa menyadari dan pentingnya toleransi antar sesama teman yang berbeda agama dan etnis, sedangan 8%  masih kurang menyadari akan pentingnya toleransi. Kata Kunci: Sosiologi, Inklusif, Pendidikan, dan Toleransi

Abstract

The student learning achievement was still low, it can be seen from more than 50% of student number not achieving the Minimum Passing Criteria (KKM) for daily quiz value Basic of Accounting II. It is because of inappropriate learning use. While the Principle Accounting II in accounting cycle of trading company learning material has aplicatif and interconnection betwen one concept and another, so that there should be a learning strategy can apply and describe the concept interconnection. This research aimed to find out: (1) differences in learning achievement of accounting student who use the Contextual Teaching and Learning and Concept Mapping instructional strategy, (2) differences in learning achievement of accounting student who had high category and low category of multiple intelligence, (3) interaction effect between kategory multiple intelligence, CTL and Concept Mapping. This study was a experiment. The research was desained by faktorial 2x2. The sample was taken by using nonprobability sampling kuota. The data collection was taken by document, questionnaire and test method. The conclusion of this research were that: (1) There were differences in learning achievement of accounting student who used the Contextual Teaching and Learning and Concept Mapping instructional strategy. (2) There were differences in learning achievement of student who had the high category and the low category of multiple intelligence. (3) There was an interaction effect between kategory miltiple intelligences, Contextual Teaching and Learning and Concept Mapping instructional strategy. The everage learning achievement (Basic of Accounting II) of experiment class (CTL) higher than the control class (Concept Mapping), and different category of multiple intelligences to effect different of learning achievement. Key Words: Multiple Intelligences, CTL, Concept Mapping, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to know the implementation of School-Based Curriculum on the subject of Natural Science in Kelayu State Elementary School, in the District of Selong. The focus of the research is to explore the obstacles and the supporting factors in implementing the school based curriculum. This study employs the descriptive-qualitative method. The subjects of the research are the principal, the teachers, and the students. The research data were collected by conducting observation, interviews, and documentation study and analyzed qualitatively using the analysis technique of Huberman. From the result of the research, the researcher finds some descriptions about the implementation of the school-based curriculum. (1) The four state elementary schools have imposed the school-based curriculum since the academic year of 2007/2008. (2) Each school has not had complete instruments for the school-based curriculum. (3) The obstacles encountered by the schools are that (a) they lack the main text-books and other supporting books and the laboratory equipment both for the teacher and for the students in learning activities, which is overcome by asking the teachers to provide handouts and to create simple laboratory Natural Science equipment through Teacher Working Group (KKG), (b) most teachers have not well understood the assessment system in the school-based curriculum, which is overcome by sharing teaching experience in  Teacher Working Group (KKG), (c) most teachers have not been accustomed to giving, correcting, and returning the homework to the students routinely, and (d) the students are not quite active in asking questions and expressing their opinions in the learning process. (4) The supporting factors in implementing the school-based curriculum are that (a) some schools have had complete equipment for laboratory practice of Natural Science to have the students understand the teaching materials easily, (b) the principal gives enough attention to the school-based curriculum and monitors the implementation of it, (c) complete sports facilities are available, and (d) the school environment is rich in the learning sources. In general, there are no different phenomena in the implementation of the school-based curriculum in the four state elementary schools in Kelayu such as South Kelayu Elementary School 1, South Kelayu Elementary School 2, North Kelayu Elementary School 1 and North Kelayu Elementary School 2  regarding the learning process, technical operation, and the availability of learning supporting facilities, whereas the most different factors in the four schools are found in the aspects of collaboration and internal culture of the schools.Keywords: The Implementation of (KTSP), Natural Science (IPA)

Abstract

Based on observations made, the problem in this study is the still low level of development of children's basic motion, especially locomotor abilities. Many factors are thought to be the cause of the low locomotor motion development, one of the dominant causes is the balance of the child. This study aims to look at the effect of balance on the level of development of children's locomotor abilities. The population in this study were all PAUD students in Padang Pariaman District, the random sampling technique was 42 children. The instrument used to obtain data on the balance of PAUD students is MABC 2 sub-test, which is balance, while the locomotor ability of children is obtained through the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2). Based on the results of research conducted there is an influence of balance on the level of development of the locomotor ability of a child with a rcount value of 0.441 rtable of 0.304 and a significant value (Sig) of 0.003 smaller than the probability of 0.05. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis alat peraga terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa Kelas IV MI Hamzanwadi 1 Pancor. Jenis penelitan ini adalah penelitan eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Penelitian ini bertempat MA NW Pancor  tahun pembelajaran 2012/2013 dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus - Nopember 2012. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes nonequivalen grup desain. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini teknik analisis parametrik yaitu univariat dengan bantuan program Microsoft Excel 2010 dan SPSS versi 16.0. Teknik analisis ini digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika realistik berbasis alat peraga. Untuk melakukan peramalan satu variabel jika variabel lain diketahui dan analisis yang umum digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,40.  Nilai kesalahan (standar error) regresi adalah 4,67 dan jumlah observasi sebanyak 37,  t hitung = 4,83 lebih  besar dari t tabel = 2,021 maka Ho di tolak. Ini berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara prestasi sebelum diberikan perlakuan dengan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Berdasarkan persamaan regresi y = 0,705 + 0,82 x dan koefisien determinasi R2 = 0,40, ini berarti bahwa sebesar 40 % penigkatan prestasi belajar matematika dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan dan selebihnya merupakan faktor lain. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran RME, alat peraga, motivasi belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mendapatkan hasil dari penerapan metode praktikum menggunakan sistem operasi linux ubuntu hamzanwadi v.14 terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa antara kelas atas dan kelas bawah.. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya beberapa permasalahan yang timbul dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah sistem operasi di STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong Program Studi Pendidikan Informatika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan model pre  experimental  dengan  one group pretest posttest design.. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa STKIP Hamzanwasi selong prodi pendidikan informatika semester 1 dan 3. Sampel terdiri dari 30 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah menggunakan teknik ramdom sampling atau pengambilan secara acak yaitu terdiri dari kelas eksperimen saja. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa pilihan ganda (multiple choice) dan teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah uji  t satupihak.   Dari data hasil penelitian kelas control (data pre-tes) diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 64,53, standar deviasi 10,63 dengan jumlah nilai keseluruhan adalah 1963. Sedangkan dari data hasil penelitian kelas eksperimen (data post-tes) diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 87,30, standar deviasi 5,40 dengan jumlah nilai keseluruhan adalah 2619. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Polled Varian (Sugiyono,2008) Rumus 9.12, ternyata hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian menggunakan statistiknya dengan taraf kepercayaan 5% diperoleh Ttabel = 1,671 sedangkan Thitung= 10,460maka Thitung Ttabel, sehingga hasil pengujian hasil hipotesisnya adalah Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima.   Sedangkan Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Sampel berkorelasi dengan menggunakan nilai r (Sugiyono,2008) Rumus 9.13, ternyata hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian menggunakan statistiknya dengan taraf kepercayaan 5% diperoleh Ttabel = 1,671 sedangkan Thitung= 10,697maka Thitung Ttabel, sehingga hasil pengujian hasil hipotesisnya adalah Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima.   Dari hasil pengujian tersebut terlihat bahwa penerapan sistem operasi linux ubuntu hamzanwadi v.14 menggunakan metode praktikum efektif terhadap pemahaman hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah sistem operasi. Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Telaga Biru and aimed to produce quality physics learning tools using the Team-Based Learning (TBL) learning model. The device was developed using the 4D development model developed by Thiagarajan Semel and Semel. The research results on the device show that the developed device is of high quality. Learning tools are said to be valid for use with slight revisions. This can be seen based on the average validation results with a value of 3.5 and 3.6. The level of effectiveness of learning devices is seen in the increase in student learning outcomes consisting of the cognitive domain at the first meeting until the third meeting, N Gain iRat is 0.46 with n criteria of moderate gain, at tRat is N Gain 0.5, in the attitude domain with an average the percentage of 80.240%, the results of observing student activities for 3 meetings are 80.890% with good criteria and the psychomotor aspect an average percentage of 80.128%, and the practicality of the developed device seen from the observation sheet on the implementation of learning 93.650% and the teacher's response questionnaire and student responses with an average percentage of 81.653% and 79.752%. Get a positive response.

Abstract

Domination of gender has occurred in jobs and the ather things in society, in wich these is because of cultural and religion effect (Islam). The same phenomena appear is East Lombok Society, that is patriarchy   and religius. Some last decades domination circumstances (problems) want to be decreased by feminisms through structural approaches. However, those approaches are not so successful, in consequentit is offered the other approaches, that is functional approaches. In East Lombok it is developed IDT Program through group approaches. It will be approved  through this program wether the functional approach in more effect in reducing men domination beyond woman, wich it can be observed participating womwn in IDT Program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe which improvements improve learning outcomes by increasing contextual spending on class VIII 5 of SMP Negeri 1 Pringgasela. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pringgasela. The action phase is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings while meeting 1 implementation of the action and 2 cycle cycles. The results of this study can be concluded that the increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 67.86% and the second cycle was 85.71%, while the increase in the ratio in the second cycle was 17.85%, this means that it is related to the application of simultaneous contextual learning support can improve student learning outcomes on citizenship subjects. This relates to the results of observations of student learning activities in the "Good" category and the results of observations of teacher activities in the "Very Good" category for cycles I and II.
