Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how effective  the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model, or problem-based learning, is in improving students' motivational learning ability to learn in grade IV of Natural and Social Sciences subjects at SD IT Asy-Syifa Al-Inayah 6 Jambi City. Using the Kemmis and McTaggart models, Classroom Action Research (PTK) is used, which includes steps of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. There were 19 students involved, and the data collection technique was carried out by looking at the activities of teachers and students as well as learning motivation questionnaires. The results were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of the study show that the application of the problem-based learning  model is effective in increasing students' motivation to learn. This is shown by the increase in student activity from 55% in the pre-cycle to 68.33% in the first cycle and 83.33% in the second cycle, as well as the increase in the results of the motivational questionnaire from 53.18% in the first cycle to 69.40% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a multidimensional analysis of Islamic education policy reform in Indonesia (2021-2026) through three main pillars: political-regulatory contestation, curriculum reorientation, and digital governance. Utilizing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA protocol, the study synthesizes 60 key policy documents and reputable journal articles. Findings reveal that while madrasas have achieved formal legal equality, "fiscal segregation" persists due to the authority dualism between centralized ministries and decentralized local governments. In the curriculum sector, the "Merdeka Belajar" policy serves as an instrument for the "decolonization of reason," enabling transdisciplinary science-religion integration; however, its effectiveness is hampered by technostructural resistance. Furthermore, digital quality assurance has birthed a formalistic "digital bureaucracy" that shifts the teacher's role to a mere data operator. In conclusion, this research constructs a "Hybrid-Contextual" policy model that synergizes Islamic spirituality with technological advancement within a wasathiyah ethical framework. The implications urge policymakers to reposition quality assurance toward an agile, globally competitive ecosystem rather than mere administrative validation. Strategic recommendations focus on synchronizing cross-sectoral regulations for budget fairness and strengthening digital leadership at the educational unit level to ensure sustainable grassroots reform.

Abstract

This study investigates the discourse around the allocation of zakat funds for the enhancement of public infrastructure, including educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and transportation networks, which stems from divergent interpretations of the term fi sabilillah in the Quranic verse. “Surah At-Taubah, verse 60. Al-Qurtubi understood the phrase as strictly pertaining to jihad, whilst al-Razi had a broader interpretation encompassing diverse sorts of public welfare. This study aims to examine the divergent perspectives of the two commentators and evaluate the legitimacy of utilizing zakat monies for infrastructure in accordance with the principle of maqasid al-shariah. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing a literature review approach to assess the writings of both commentators descriptively and comparably. The findings indicate that al-Qurtubi restricts the application of zakat to physical jihad, but al-Razi offers a more expansive view for the public good. Utilizing the maqasid al-shariah framework, infrastructure development may be classified as fi sabilillah, provided it adheres to the principle of benefit and aligns with sharia regulations. This research affirms that the comprehension of zakat can be adapted to contemporary exigencies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Ontological Monism Principle in Islamic Religious Education and Character (PAIBP) learning on students’ understanding of faith in Allah at SMP Negeri 2 Cileunyi, Bandung Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a Static Group Comparison model, involving two groups: an experimental class taught using the Ontological Monism Principle and a control class taught through conventional methods. Data were collected through a posttest instrument in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results show that the experimental class achieved a higher and more homogeneous mean score (53.83) compared to the control class (36.63), and demonstrated a more reflective and contextual understanding. Therefore, the implementation of the Ontological Monism Principle has a positive effect on improving students’ conceptual understanding and spiritual awareness, and can serve as an effective and meaningful alternative model for PAIBP learning.

Abstract

The development of accounting practices in the microfinance sector requires every entity to prepare financial statements that are accurate, transparent, and reliable. The quality of accounting information plays an essential role in evaluating institutional performance, managing assets, and supporting decision-making by stakeholders. To improve the transparency and accountability of financial reporting for entities without significant public accountability, the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) introduced the Financial Accounting Standards for Private Entities (SAK EP) as a refinement of SAK ETAP. This standard is designed to be simpler and more applicable to private entities, including Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT). This study aims to analyze the implementation of SAK EP in the financial statements of BMT Assyafi'iyah Berkah Nasional, Tanjung Jaya Branch Office, and to identify its compliance with the applicable accounting standards. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that BMT has implemented SAK EP in the recognition, recording, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of financial statements in accordance with the applicable guidelines. The financial statements prepared have included the main components required under SAK EP. However, the implementation has not yet been fully optimized due to several challenges, including adjustments to the chart of accounts, limited human resource competencies in understanding the new standard, and the need to adjust accounting treatments for transactions based on Sharia contracts. Overall, the implementation of SAK EP has improved the quality of financial statements by making them more relevant, reliable, transparent, and accountable, thereby strengthening institutional governance and enhancing the confidence of members and stakeholders in the performance of BMT.

Abstract

This research aims to prove that simple tools easily found in the surroundings can help students better understand plant materials and their uses, thereby improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN No.065/VI Karang Berahi in the IPAS subject. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the study showed an improvement in student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the pre-cycle stage, student mastery only reached 21.05%, then increased to 63.16% in cycle I, and further increased to 84.21% in cycle II. The improvement indicates that the use of simple learning media is capable of enhancing students' learning outcomes, both in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Thus, it can be concluded that simple learning media are effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject on plant material at SDN No.065/VI Karang Berahi.

Abstract

Studies on the qira’at of Imam al-Shafi’i remain fragmented and lack systematic comparison with the canonical riwayat of Ibn Kathir. This gap is particularly significant given that the Shafi’i madhhab predominates in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. This study presents a systematic comparative analysis of the qira’at of Imam al-Shafi’i (d. 204 AH) and those of Imam Ibn Kathir in the riwayahs of al-Bazzi and Qunbul at both the usul and farsh al-huruf levels, using a qualitative descriptive-comparative method (al-manhaj al-wasfi al-muqaran). Data were drawn primarily from al-Kamil fi al-Qira’at by al-Hudhali and At-Tariq al-Munir by Damrah. The findings show that at the usul level, al-Shafi’i agrees with both rawis on 8 of 13 principles, while differences appear in mad wajib muttasil and idgham nun sakinah. At the farsh level, 51.9% of 77 entries show al-Bazzi and Qunbul agreeing but diverging from al-Shafi’i, 27.3% show exclusive conformity with al-Bazzi, and 16.9% with Qunbul. All three transmission chains converge at Isma’il ibn ‘Abdillah al-Qast, confirming that al-Shafi’i possessed an independent recitation tradition with a sahih sanad rooted in the Makkah qira’at.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of inheritance disputes, which are often viewed in a reductive manner as mere material conflicts, yet empirically serve as instruments for identity validation and the restoration of honor for men, thereby mitigating the risk of domestic violence that threatens public health stability. The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the meaning of kinship systems in Indonesia by uncovering the latent dimensions of inheritance disputes. Using a juridical-empirical method through a socio-legal approach, the analysis aims to identify mental health variables such as chronic stress and identity crises as they emerge in the literature of legal sociology. The research findings indicate that both Islam and customary law provide safety valve mechanisms such as the Qawwam principle, the tradition of migration, and reciprocal gifts that effectively reduce legal resistance by transforming men’s positions into authoritative, sovereign subjects. In conclusion, inheritance justice must be repositioned from a mere division of assets into a process of identity restoration that is crucial for the biopsychosocial stability of the family.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing student work programs within school organizations at SMP IT Fitrah Hanniah. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the vice principal for student affairs, the teacher accompanying the organization, and student members of BEST (Integrated Student Executive Board). Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers play a crucial role as facilitators, guides, motivators, and evaluators in supporting the success of student work programs. Teachers not only assist in the implementation of organizational activities but also instill the values of character, leadership, social responsibility, and cooperation in students. Regular evaluation and active collaboration between teachers and students are important factors in maintaining the sustainability of the organization's work programs. Obstacles identified include unequal student involvement and limited funding for activities. However, these obstacles can be overcome through intensive teacher mentoring and optimization of school facilities. This study confirms that active teacher involvement in student organizations can support the holistic development of student character and potential based on Islamic values.
