Abstract

Islam is the most perfect religion in the eyes of Allah SWT, because all human actions and behavior have rules and guidelines that must be obeyed and followed so as not to go astray and fall into bad behavior and be hated by the Creator. One of them is dressing, where the etiquette of dressing must cover the private parts completely. In these clothes, there are several restrictions regarding the fabric material. It is forbidden for silk fabric to be used as clothing material, as Rasulullah SAW told us. In this article, the researcher discusses the above hadith taken from one of the hadith scholars, namely Al-Tabrani, in the book A/-Majam Al-Kabir. Al-Tabrani is a hadith expert who was born in Sham in 260 AH/873 AD-360 AH/971 AD, with an age of approximately 100 years. Due to the large number of narrators who narrated a single hadith, this research was conducted with the aim of finding out the authenticity of the hadith and the quality of the content contained in the hadith. So that scholars can get a strong source that can be used as a reference for implementing a law. Literature study (library research) is the method used to support this research. The results obtained from the analysis of this hadith are that the validity of the hadith regarding the prohibition of wearing silk cloth (especially for men) can be proven. Apart from that, the narrator who narrated this hadith can be trusted according to the Rijal al-Hadith scholars. Therefore, the hadith prohibiting men from wearing silk can be used as a haiab.

Abstract

Traditional dance is one form of Indonesian cultural wealth that must be passed down from generation to generation (Lail & Widad, 2015). However, along with the development of the era and the increasingly rapid flow of globalization, the existence of traditional dances is often marginalized and begins to be replaced by the influence of more modern foreign cultures. In order to prevent the threat of extinction of traditional culture, SMKN 2 Mataram held a Saturday Culture activity as one of the programs to introduce, teach, and preserve traditional dances to students. However, although this activity is carried out routinely every month, various challenges are still faced in efforts to preserve traditional dances at SMKN 2 Mataram. Therefore, efforts to increase the effectiveness of Saturday Culture activities in preserving traditional dances require serious attention from various parties. Collaboration is needed between teachers, students, and schools to overcome existing problems, as well as create a school environment that supports the preservation of traditional culture through more innovative and interesting activities for the younger generation. The method used in this study is to use a descriptive qualitative research method and the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of students' intercultural understanding, challenges in implementing multicultural education, and multicultural-based learning strategies at SMAN 1 Lembar. This study used a mixed methods method with a questionnaire survey, in-depth interviews, and a systematic literature review. The results show that the majority of students have a good understanding of cultural diversity, although cross-cultural awareness still needs to be improved. Programs such as the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and Saturday Culture have a positive influence on students' intercultural understanding, but further development is needed. Multicultural-based learning strategies in PPKn subjects have proven effective through heterogeneous group discussions, case studies, and culture-based learning media. This study recommends the integration of multicultural education in the curriculum, teacher training, and strengthening of culture-based programs to create an inclusive and tolerant learning environment, in accordance with the principles of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the translation approaches used in the translation of Surah Al-Fatihah by two parties: the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in its official translation of the Mushaf Al-Qur’an, and M. Quraish Shihab in his commentary Tafsir al-Mishbah. This study uses a qualitative descriptive-comparative approach to examine the differences and similarities in translation methods, with reference to contextual and textual translation theories. The results show that the Ministry of Religious Affairs uses a more literal approach with limited dynamic elements, while Quraish Shihab tends to apply a communicative and interpretative approach by paying attention to the context of meaning and thematic interpretation.

Abstract

One of the principles that must be upheld in Islam is justice. In Islam, justice is a direct command from Allah that must be applied in everyday life, not just an abstract theoretical idea. However, everyone knows that there is still injustice everywhere in our country, both in government, society, and around us. Therefore, Muslims must understand justice from the perspective of the Qur'an in order to apply the values of justice in everyday life, so that social balance and psychological calm can occur among humans. This study uses a qualitative methodology with a focus on library research, with a thematic interpretation approach (maudhu'i). The results of this study are the implications of justice for human psychology: a sense of security and peace, strengthening self-esteem and dignity, reducing social jealousy and resentment, fostering hope and optimism, encouraging sincerity and emotional balance, and the motivation to do good and avoid injustice.

Abstract

Moral education in Islam plays a crucial role in shaping students' character. Morality is a core teaching in Islam, and the Hadith is a key source for shaping students' moral values. Therefore, this study aims to examine the values of moral education in the Bulughul Maram book: a study of adab hadiths. This study employs a qualitative library research method. The findings demonstrate that Ibn Hajar views morality as a condition firmly embedded in a person, giving rise to an action, and good deeds stemming from commendable morality are called adab. Therefore, special treatment is needed for parents and educators to instill commendable morality in students. Ultimately, instilling moral values in students will have implications for their morality. This study aims to provide significant insights and contributions to the field of Islamic education.

Abstract

Da'wah education plays a strategic role in forming successor cadres who possess not only Islamic knowledge but also social competence and communal responsibility. Pemuda Persatuan Islam, as an autonomous cadre organization of Persatuan Islam (Persis), holds a significant position in preparing young generations to continue the mission of the jam’iyyah’s da'wah. This study aims to analyze the model of impactful da'wah education implemented by Pemuda Persis Sumedang through a cadre formation strategy that integrates ideological strengthening, pedagogical development, and collaborative social praxis. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method using interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. The findings reveal that da'wah education is conducted systematically and progressively through structured cadre stages (Ma’ruf and Tafiq I–III), leadership and organizational training, outreach programs in remote areas, disaster response engagement, industrial-based religious mentoring, and cross-organizational collaboration among Islamic youth movements. This model produces cadres who are not only capable of delivering religious messages verbally but also able to actualize da'wah through social service and community empowerment. Conceptually, this study contributes by formulating the construct of “impactful da'wah education” as an integrative cadre model that combines ideological, pedagogical, and measurable social action dimensions within a sustainable training system. Practically, the findings offer an applicable and replicable framework for Islamic youth organizations in responding to contemporary social challenges and digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of targhib wa tarhib hadith dissemination on social media through the analytical framework of the classical theory of Qawa’id al-Tahdith (principles of hadith transmission). The rise of digital technology has transformed the circulation of hadith in modern society, where many narrations are spread without proper verification of their chains of transmission or contextual understanding. Such practices have raised critical issues concerning authenticity, interpretation, and ethical communication in Islamic preaching. This research applies a qualitative method with a library-based approach, supported by phenomenological analysis of digital da'wah content across several social media platforms. The findings reveal that most targhib wa tarhib hadiths circulating online lack clear sources and authenticity status, leading to potential misinterpretations of Islamic teachings. The principles of Qawa’id al-Tahdith such as caution (taharri), selectivity (tamyiz), and awareness of the audience’s condition (ma’rifat hal al-mukhatab) are highly relevant as ethical guidelines for hadith dissemination in the digital era.
