Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of customer satisfaction mediators and brand trust moderators on brand loyalty among customers of a local beauty product in Indonesia. Researchers wanted to know how to boost customer loyalty to a local beauty product user in Indonesia. This study employed primary data collected via an online survey utilizing a Google form, with respondents chosen using purposive sampling. This study's respondents were women, with a total of 116 respondents aged 18-35 years who utilized a local beauty product in Indonesia. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used in this work as a research approach. According to the study's findings, utilitarian value and brand image directly and positively affect consumer satisfaction. Furthermore, brand image and customer satisfaction have a strong direct and positive impact on brand loyalty, and customer satisfaction can buffer the relationship between brand image and brand loyalty. While utilitarian value has no effect on brand loyalty, customer satisfaction cannot mitigate the association between utilitarian value and brand loyalty. Finally, the moderating influence of brand trust cannot affect the link between consumer pleasure and brand loyalty.

Abstract

Correct and good management of human resources (HR) will get employees who have high skills and are reliable, so that the performance of the company's employees will be better and can achieve company goals optimally. This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behavior. The number of samples used was 237 respondents in BPD Bali Province. The data analysis technique was carried out using Path Analysis (SEM PLS). The results of the research prove that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, job satisfaction does not have a significant positive influence on employee performance, job satisfaction does not have a significant positive influence on employee performance, job satisfaction does not have a significant positive influence on employee satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior has a significant positive influence on employee performance, transformational leadership has a significant positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior, the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance is not mediated by job satisfaction and transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on employee performance which is mediated by the organizational citizenship behavior variable.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of apparatus competency, organizational commitment, transparency and community participation on accountability in managing village funds in Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province. This type of research is quantitative research, with data collection using primary data, namely distributing questionnaires to respondents. The research population was heads of village financial affairs throughout Agam Regency with samples taken using the full sampling method totaling 92 samples. The data processing method in this research is the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this research show that the variables of apparatus competency, organizational commitment and community participation have a positive but not significant effect on accountability in managing village funds, while transparency has a positive and significant effect on accountability in managing village funds.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the influence of hedonistic lifestyles on consumer behavior among university students while analyzing the Islamic perspective regarding this behavior. Hedonism, as a lifestyle choice, captivates the interest of young individuals by offering a luxurious, comfortable, and abundant way of life without requiring substantial effort. Employing a quantitative method and applying Probability Sampling among 200 students, the research extracted a sample size of 115 individuals. The research findings illustrate a positive correlation between hedonistic lifestyles and consumer behavior, evidenced by the positive coefficients within the analysis. The more prevalent the hedonistic lifestyle, the more pronounced the consumer behavior becomes. A significant portion of the student community tends to be influenced by hedonistic tendencies, emphasizing pleasure over essential needs, consequently leading to consumer behavior. The activities, interests, and perspectives of the majority of students do not entirely align with the principles of Islamic economics, which emphasize the necessity for rational needs aligned with the Islamic sharia, as stated in the Quran (Al-A'raf verse 31). This signifies that the orientation of needs driven by hedonistic lifestyles contradicts the principles of Islamic economics that emphasize needs in line with positive values within Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the contribution of local taxes to Local Own Source Revenue (PAD) and to identify the level of fiscal independence of the region in Pekanbaru City. The research method used is secondary data analysis from the realization data of local taxes and PAD from 2018 to 2022 obtained from the Pekanbaru City Revenue Agency. The data is then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to identify trends in the contribution of local taxes to PAD and the level of fiscal independence of the region during this period. The analysis results show that the contribution of local taxes to PAD in Pekanbaru City ranges from 80% to 93% during this period, with an increasing trend every year. However, fiscal independence of the region is still in the category of "Towards Fiscal Independence," with PAD contributions ranging from 25% to 33% of the total Regional Revenue in the Regional Budget. The study concludes that although local taxes have become the main backbone for PAD in Pekanbaru, fiscal independence of the region needs to be strengthened with measures such as re-registering taxpayers and improving the efficiency of local tax management.

Abstract

Research on the influence of the work environment on employee performance at CV. XY is an important step in understanding the factors that influence productivity and work quality in the company. In this research, a simple linear regression statistical analysis method is used to examine the relationship between the work environment and employee performance. The research results show that there is a positive (unidirectional) relationship between the work environment and employee performance at CV. XY. In other words, the better the work environment in the company, the higher the level of employee performance. These findings provide important insights for company management to improve and optimize the work environment to improve employee performance. Apart from that, this research also provides a basis for developing more effective human resource management policies and strategies at CV. XY.

Abstract

Fashion has a strong appeal and is accepted by individuals of all ages as a determining aspect of clothing and daily lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of sales promotion on consumer purchasing choices. The target population of this study consists of Billionaire's Project consumers, with a sample of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, a non-probability sampling technique. To collect data, questionnaires were distributed to individuals who had purchased and used products from the Billionaire's Project. The data analysis process uses descriptive and inferential analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0 analysis tool. The findings of this study confirm that sales promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and the involvement of celebrity endorsers also has a significant influence on consumer purchasing choices. Business owners can leverage these research findings as valuable references when designing digital marketing strategies geared toward increasing sales of Billionaire's Project products, particularly in the areas of sales promotion and celebrity-based marketing.

Abstract

Profitability of a company is the company's ability to obtain net profit from activities carried out during the accounting period. The purpose of this research is to examine and describe the effect of corporate social responsibility, good corporate governance, and investment decisions on profitability. The number of samples is 48 construction company data with purposive sampling criteria. The analysis technique used is the F-test, and multiple linear regression with the t hypothesis test. The results of the study show that corporate social responsibility has a significant negative effect on profitability, while good corporate governance and investment decisions have an insignificant negative effect on profitability.

Abstract

This research investigates how social influence, materialism, impulse buying, and purchase intentions relate to each other. This research data collection method uses the Google Forms platform. Herbalife customers in the Gianyar district receive questionnaires directly through QR codes and links. This study uses the semantic differential scale 1 (Very Disagree) – 10 (Absolutely agree). Besides, attitudes can also be measured on this scale; however, rather than double options or checklists, the shape is a continuum line. Furthermore, the structural equation model (SEM) is used with the SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) 4 version for data analysis. The results of the research hypothesis sample test showed that based on 105 responses social influence does not affect purchase intention. Materialism and impulsive buying affect purchase intention. Social influence and materialism affect impulsive buying.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of investment and minimum wages on labor absorption in the industrial sector in Jambi Province. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The research results show that simultaneously investment and the minimum wage together have a significant effect on labor absorption. Then, partially, investment and minimum wage variables have a significant effect on labor absorption.
