Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (a) Ingin mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan belajar dan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa dalam bahasa inggris setelah diterapkannya Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan TIK model penceritaan digital pada siswa Kelas VIII-B SMPN 1 Kalitengah Semeseter Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019,(b) Ingin mengetahui respon keaktifan belajar siswa setelah diterapkan Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan TIK model penceritaan digital pada siswa Kelas VII-A SMPN 1 Kalitengah Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan refisi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII-B SMP Negeri 1 Kalitengah. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar, dan wawancara. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari siklus I ke siklus III yaitu, siklus I 68,5 siklus II 75 siklus III 82,4 begitu juga pada ketuntasan belajar juga meningkat dari siklus I sampai siklus III, yaitu siklus I 67,7%, siklus II 77,41%, dan siklus III 93,54%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAbstract: The most encountered linguistic environment in a novel is the use of denotation and connotation meanings. The novel of Orang-Orang Biasa is a novel with different attractions from the denotation and connotation meaning. This research aims to describe the denotation and connotation meaning of the novel. This research used the qualitative descriptive approach. The researcher collected the data with literature, reading, and noting techniques. Then, the researcher analyzed the obtained data by reducing, presenting, and concluding or verifying the data. The applied data validity consisted of the investigating triangulating stages. The triangulation process compared the works of an analyst with the other analyst. The finding descriptions showed 3 words of denotation meaning in the novel of Orang-Orang Biasa written by Andrea Hirata, (2) 3 words of connotation meaning in the novel of Orang-Orang Biasa written by Andrea Hirata.Keywords: Semantics, Denotation Meaning, Connotation Meaning, the Novel of Orang-Orang Biasa by Andrea HiratA

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai. Pandemi Covid-19 menuntut manusia untuk melakukan pembatasan sosial dan kemasyarakatan, baik ekonomi, budaya, maupun pendidikan. Salah satunya adalah proses pembelajaran online di sekolah. Blended learning merupakan metode pengajaran yang efektif untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan metode blended learning. Metode pengumpulan data melalui dokumen berupa RPP dan silabus serta wawancara dengan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa cukup memuaskan yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai yang baik, dan proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan lancar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe language errors in terms of spelling and effective sentences in Thai student papers at Unisda Lamongan which was carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources of this study were obtained from Thai students, especially in the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education who studied at Unisda Lamongan, totaling five students. The collection techniques carried out by researchers are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. Data collection instruments using student papers and corpus data sheets. While the data analysis techniques used in this study were data selection, identification of language errors, classifying errors, analyzing data, and concluding the results. Based on the results of research conducted by this researcher, Thai students' papers at Unisda Lamongan found spelling errors, redundancies, incoherence, and illogicalities. Spelling errors, namely: (1) errors in writing capital letters and italics, (2) errors in writing prepositions in (3) writing errors in punctuation, including: (a) errors in the use of periods, (b) errors in the use of commas, (c) ) errors in the use of hyphens, and (d) errors in the use of question marks. Sentence redundancy, there is an excessive use of two conjunctions, the use of words have the same meaning, excessive use of the subject, and the use of formed words and their meanings. Incoherence in sentences, there is the use of conjunctions and excessive use of conjunctions about. The illogicality of the sentence, there is the use of words that cannot be accepted by common sense.

Abstract

This study aims to describe spelling errors in terms of writing letters, writing words, and using punctuation marks in student articles from the Universitas Islam Darul `Ulum Lamongan (Unisda). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data source was obtained from students of the Islamic Unisda with a total of 10 students. The data collection techniques used are documentation, reading, and note-taking techniques. The instrument used to measure spelling errors in student articles from the Islamic Unisda is a data copy sheet. Data analysis techniques carried out in this study were rereading the collected data, analyzing letter writing errors, analyzing word writing errors, analyzing punctuation errors, and concluding the results of the error analysis. Based on this research that has been carried out by researchers, the results found spelling errors are that there are errors in writing letters in student articles from Unisda 221 errors, there are errors in word writing in student articles from Unisda 90 errors, and there are usage errors punctuation in the student's article from the Islamic University Darul Ulum Lamongan 202 errors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the personality structure of the main character in the novel Wigati:Lintang Manik Woro by Khilma Anis and to describe the ego defense mechanism of the main character in the novel Wigati:Lintang Manik Woro by Khilma Anis. The research method used is a qualitative research type, with a psychological approach and descriptive analysis method. The results of this study are that in Wigati, the forms of Id are found in the form of the desire to live in peace, avoid pain, and the desire to meet her biological father. In Manik¸, the form of Id is found in the form of great curiosity, interest in the opposite sex, and the desire to live with Hidayat Jati. The ego that emerged from Wigati's character was choosing to live in a boarding school¸ refusing to meet his biological father¸ looking for the whereabouts of his biological father. Manik's character is finding out about Wigati¸ approaching Hidayat Jati. The superego that appears in Wigati is Realizing that her abilities must be maintained properly, Realizing mistakes and Accepting her biological father. Pada Manik Realizes that there is no need to interfere too much in Wigati's affairs, Realizes that he should refrain from meeting Hidayat Jati¸ and Realizes that he is not worthy of being with Hidayat Jati. The ego defense mechanism in Wigati's character is Sublimation, Projection, Aggression, and Apathy. Meanwhile, in Manik's character, ego defense mechanisms are found in the form of projection and fantasy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) curiosity between characters in the novel "Triangles by Sapardi Djoko Damono" (2) the sense of attention between the characters in the novel "Segi Tiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono", as well as explain (3) the sense of affection between the characters in the novel "Segi Tiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono" This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this study is the novel "Segi Tiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono". This research is focused on problems related to the anatomy of love between figures of literary psychology studies. The data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques, namely a research procedure with the results of presenting description data in the form of the author's speech in the novel "Segi Tiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono". The way data is collected is carried out by reading and recording techniques. The results of the study showed the anatomy of love between characters contained in the novel "Segi Tiga Karya Sapardi Djoko Damono". In accordance with the title of the novel "Triangle", there are three women, namely Gendis, Noriko, and Tia, the three women live a love story with one male character, namely Suryo. Suryo loves Noriko who he meets on a laptop screen, and then he encounters in a stall buying food. Meanwhile, Gendis and Tia are Suryo's own cousins, but because they are often together or too close, Suryo admits that they are not his cousins, Suryo will love like Noriko.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of locutionary and illocutionary speech acts in the film Merry Riana: Dream of a Million Dollars. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method. Data in this study is speech acts of actors in the film Merry Riana: Dream of a Million Dollars. This data given from allow application you tube. The data collection techniques used are documents, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification. The validity of the data was tested by extending observations and increasing persistence. The results in this study there are forms of locutionary and illocutionary speech acts. The form of locutionary speech acts in this study in the form of providing information or being informative. There are five forms of illocutionary speech acts in the study, namely assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declaration.

Abstract

Based on this background, the objectives of this study are as follows (1) to determine, (2) to determine practicality, and (3) to determine the effectiveness of Negotiation Text teaching materials with a constructivism approach based on personal skills in class X SMA Persatuan Kedungpring Lamongan. Based on the process of developing teaching materials, there are steps (1) designing teaching materials, (2) expert validation, (3) design improvements, and (4) product trials. The researchers used research and development (R&D) methods. The model for developing teaching materials uses the Borg & Gall model which is adapted to the Constructivism approach. The research subjects were selected according to the needs, namely, (1) expert on validity, (2) expert on practitioner, (3) expert on effectiveness. The type of data selected is the result of validity from experts on validity, expert practitioners, and experts on effectiveness with experimental methods.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the extrovert personality of the character Ave in the novel Agave by Malashanti. The focus of this research is the extrovert personality type of the main character, Ave in the novel Agave by Malashanti. This research method is a type of qualitative descriptive research with a literary psychology approach. The data in this study is the dialogue of the main character, Ave, in the form of sentences, while the data source is the novel Agave by Malashanti. This novel Agave tells of a journalist named Ave who tries to interview the Director of a Hospital to achieve his dream of becoming a News Anchor in accordance with an agreement with her Supervisor. The results of this study indicate a conclusion that the extrovert personality type of Ave's character in the novel Agave by Malashanti is an extrovert thinker, extrovert feeling, extrovert sensing, and extrovert intuitive.
