Abstract

Kandungan karbon tersimpan terdapat pada permukaan tanah sebagai biomassa tumbuhan, sisa tumbuhan yang sudah mati (nekromasa), maupun dalam tanah sebagai bahan organik tanah. Tulisan ini memaparkan tentang  bagaimana kandungan karbon tersimpan pada hutan primer dan hutan sekunder. Cadangan karbon pada berbagai kelas penutupan lahan di hutan alam berkisar antara 7,5 – 264,70 ton C/ha. Pada hutan primer cadangan karbon berkisar 15,02 – 264,70 ton C/ha. Cadangan karbon terendah terdapat pada hutan bukit kapur dan tertinggi pada hutan alam primer dataran rendah dan dipterokarpa. Hutan alam sekunder  memiliki cadangan karbon berkisar 7,5 – 249,1 ton C/ha, dengan cadangan karbon terendah pada hutan bekas bakaran dan tertinggi pada hutan bekas tebangan. Cadangan karbon hutan alam primer lebih tinggi dari pada hutan alam sekunder yang disebabkan oleh keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan pada hutan alam primer lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hutan sekunder sehingga pengembalian karbon organik ke dalam tanah berjalan dengan cepat dan penyimpanan biomassa hasil konversi karbon bertambah besar seiring dengan semakin banyaknya karbon yang diserap pohon tersebut.

Abstract

Mathematics is considered by elementary school students to be a difficult, boring and monotonous subject. Jarimatika learning media can be used to teach mathematics to students in a simple and easy to use way. Knowing how well Jarimatika media helps elementary school students in learning mathematics is the main aim of this research. Classroom action research (PTK) with a two-cycle approach was applied in this research. Twenty third grade students at SDI Plus Imam Muslim participated in this research. Strategy for gathering information in mathematics classes through the use of an action research model based on qualitative descriptive research. Based on these findings, it appears that the Jarimatical approach in learning mathematics can improve students' numeracy skills. Based on the results of the pre-cycle test which had an average score of 60, only 8 students successfully completed the learning objectives. With an average score of 75 in the first cycle exam, fifteen students in the first cycle were able to demonstrate mastery of the material. Twenty students in cycle II passed the second cycle exam with an average score of 82.75, indicating that they had acquired all the necessary knowledge. The findings of this research indicate that third grade students at SDI Plus Imam Muslim benefit from the Jarimatika approach in improving their multiplication calculation skills.

Abstract

As an educators, it is important to apply the learning principles of motivation, attention, activity, and feedback to ensure successful learning. However, in reality there are various obstacles that prevent students from achieving high learning outcomes. This happens to class VD students at Gloria 3 Christian Elementary School, Surabaya, where they often experience learning difficulties, especially in the subject "Human Digestive System" in science class. There is a quantum learning model that aims to overcome student boredom at school. The quantum learning model emphasizes that the role of learning media in the form of songs has advantages in increasing the effectiveness of elementary school students' education. Based on the learning results obtained in Cycle I and Cycle II, the highest score for students in Cycle I was 100 points, the lowest score was 20 points, and the average was 66.8 points. In Cycle II the highest score was 100, the lowest score was 50, and the average was 82.8. Therefore, it appears that the use of singing media has a positive influence on fifth grade students achieving better learning outcomes with material related to the human digestive system. The human digestive system is received positively by students.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran materi kalor diperlukan adanya media berupa video berbasis keterampilan proses sains (KPS). Pelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian video pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan proses sains pada materi kalor berupa validasi dari ahli materi dan juga validasi dari ahli media pada aspek kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, bahasa, tampilan, fungsi dan manfaat. Subjek penelitian ini ialah 26 orang partisipan dari kelas X (sepuluh) IPA di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Murung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Research and Development (RD) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang dibatasi pada 3D yaitu define, design, development. Video yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 6 aktivitas yang disusun berdasarkan parameter KPS . Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data validasi ahli media dan materi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi dan ahli media dengan presentasi ahli materi sebesar 81,33% dan ahli media sebesar 68,75% yang menunjukan kriteria layak sehingga media yang dikembangkan dianggap sudah sesuai.

Abstract

This exploration is roused by the enthausiasm of the 5th grade understudies of the Padangsidimpuan Public Primary School 200108 in Learning. Affected by a few variables including the inspiration of guardians and educator. The detailing of the issue in this review, (1) What is the realizing ethos of understudy in class V Math at State Primary School 200108 Padangsidimpuan? (2) What are the variables that impact understudy learning ethos? This review plans to, (1) Depict the learning ethos of understudies in learning Science in class V of the 200108 State Grade School Padangsidimpuan, (2) Knowing the elements that impact understudy learning ethos. This kind of examination in subjective exploration which is information examination. Subjective exploration techniques are in many cases called naturalistic examination strategies on the grounds that the examination is completed in regular circumstances (normal setting); likewise called the subjective techniques in light of the fact that the information gathered and the examination is more subjective in nature. The consequences of this study show that the understudies' learning ethos in the great classification. This study demonstrates the way that the variables that can impact the understudies' learning ethos are partition into 2, specifically, outside factors and inside factors. Outer variables comprise of: family/parent natural elements, school climate (instructor and school offices). While the intenal factors will be factors connected with the mental state of understudies', for example, understudy interests and considerations in learning, understudies' thoughtfulness regarding the educator' clarification.

Abstract

Hands-on, student-centered experiential learning can foster motivation and interest that can develop students' competencies in accommodating skill development, content comprehension, and assimilation of new knowledge. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation and learning activities of open inquiry assisted by PhET Simulations media. This study uses an observational research design involving 18 grade VIII students. Data collection is carried out by observation. The results of the study showed that the implementation and learning activities using the open inquiry learning model assisted by PhET Simulations media during the three meetings were carried out at all stages and the results of active instruction observation were more dominant. Students are very enthusiastic during learning activities in conducting experiments to complete assignments, and discussions with their groups. Based on this presentation, it can be concluded that the intervention of the open inquiry learning model assisted by PhET Simulations media in the learning process has a great impact on students. Students become active and directly involved in learning, and emphasize direct experience to students so that they can construct knowledge and have an impact on the training of students' proposing action and interpreting result skills. This learning model can be a good alternative for teachers in teaching in the classroom.

Abstract

Penerapan kurikulum merdeka mendorong siswa untuk mengembangkan berbagai keterampilan guna menghadapi tantangan abad 21, termasuk keterampilan literasi sains. Melalui literasi sains, siswa mampu memahami konsep-konsep dan proses ilmiah yang membantu mereka dalam pembuatan keputusan dengan didasarkan pada pengetahuan yang dimilikinya. Keterampilan literasi sains menjadi penting bagi siswa dalam konteks ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan literasi sains siswa dengan melakukan penerapan pendekatan Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) dalam pembelajarannya. Desain penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one-group pre-test and post-test design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan soal pretest dan posttest kepada seluruh siswa kelas VII A dari satu diantara SMP swasta Kota Surabaya yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan peningkatan literasi sains dengan output N-Gain sebesar 0,73, sehingga dikategorikan dengan kategori peningkatan yang tinggi. Hasil uji statistik inferensial menggunakan uji non-parametrik (uji Wilcoxon) menunjukkan output Asymp.Sig. (2-Tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang berarti kurang dari 0,05, sehingga mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan SSI efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh output N-Gain dan signifikansi dari uji statistik inferensial.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning carried out by the teacher is still centered on the teacher. The strength and weakness of the motivation to learn mathematics will affect success in learning, so motivation needs to be cultivated, especially within and from outside by providing a fun learning model so that students are motivated to learn mathematics. The formulation of the problem is How is the students' motivation to learn mathematics using the Talking Stick learning model?, How is the students' motivation to learn mathematics using the Make A Match learning model?, Are there differences in students' motivation to learn mathematics using the Talking Stick learning model and the Make A Match learning model?. This study uses a quasi-experimental method involving two groups, namely the experimental class I using the Talking Stick learning model and the experimental group II using the Make A Match learning model. The research design used in this study is The Non Equivalent Control Design. The experimental group I used the Talking Stick learning model and the experimental group II used the Make A Match learning model. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential statistical formulas, namely normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing with paired sample t-test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test of the average value, there are differences in the learning motivation of students in the class using the Talking Stick model and the class using the Make A Match model. But this difference is not significant seen from the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.843 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant (significant) difference between the average mathematics learning motivation of students who are taught using the Talking Stick learning model and using the Make A Match learning model.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the improvement of student biology learning outcomes which are one of the most important things in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of student activity biology and abilities through the application of learning models based on Structured Dyadic Methods (HR) on Waste and Recycling material in class X.IPA.1 SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara academic year 2017-2018. This type of research is classroom action research. Where the subject of the study was class X.IPA students of SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara consisting of 25 students. While data collection techniques and tools are tests and observations. The biology learning outcomes test of cycle I students was 76% and cycle II was 84.33%. Increased student activity levels in cycle I by 68.00% and in cycle II by 86.40% then increased teacher ability in managing learning cycle I by 75.00% and cycle II 91.00%.

Abstract

This study5aims to find5out5whether3there5is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Autograph on students computational thinking skills in junior high5school5statistics materials. This research5was conducted5at Methodist Private Junior High School 12 Medan T.A 2023/2024.  The research method5used is the quasi experiment method. The sample in this study consists of two classes, namely5class VIII-A as an experimental class and class VIII-B as a control5class.  Based on the results of the study, it was obtained t_hitungt_tabel  (6,3141,686) which means that there was an influence of the Autograph-assisted Problem Based Learning model on the computational thinking ability of grade VIII students at Methodist 12 Medan Private Junior High School and the Autograph-assisted Problem5Based Learning model had an effect on5students' computational thinking ability of 1,995 (big effect).
