Abstract

SIMKOPDES is an information system that supports the management and presentation of Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih information. Directly executing reporting workloads on the Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) database may create resource contention because analytical queries involve multiple joins, aggregations, and large-scale data processing. This study designs and implements an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) architecture on the SIMKOPDES OLTP database using a log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanism. The study adopts the Database System Development Life Cycle (DSDLC), while Kimball's Four-Step Dimensional Design is applied during database design. The OLAP schema consists of four dimension tables and three fact tables. Data changes are synchronized using PostgreSQL write-ahead logging, a replication slot, the wal2json plugin, and Python middleware. Performance evaluation using EXPLAIN (ANALYZE, BUFFERS) across five analytical scenarios yielded average efficiencies of 85.23% in execution time, 53.59% in I/O buffer usage, and 80.09% in query cost relative to OLTP. Across all five scenarios, the OLAP row counts and aggregate values matched the OLTP results. In addition, all seven tested data-change scenarios were successfully captured and applied to the affected OLAP tables. These results indicate that an OLAP architecture with log-based CDC can improve analytical query efficiency while maintaining consistency with the OLTP source data.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (SIMKOPDES) is a digital platform to modernize cooperative governance in rural areas. However its implementation faces challenges due to the digital literacy gap among administrators and an existing interface design that triggers cognitive overload. This study aims to redesign the SIMKOPDES interface using the Design Thinking method. The problem identification stage was conducted comprehensively using Heuristic Evaluation (HE) based on Nielsen 10 Principles by experts and Cognitive Walkthrough (CW) by end users. The redesign solutions focused on simplifying navigation flows, adjusting terminology to match the mental models of rural users, and providing clear visual feedback. Final testing of the new prototype was conducted using the UEQ instrument with 20 rural cooperative administrators as respondents. The measurement results showed a highly significant improvement with all scales achieving positive values. Overall, the evaluation results demonstrate a substantial improvement in user experience, with an average UEQ score increase of 3.04 points from the existing system to the redesigned prototype. The most significant improvement was recorded in the Perspicuity dimension, which increased from -0.89 to 2.05, indicating that the prototype is considerably easier to understand and learn for users. In the benchmark comparison five scales were categorized as Excellent and the Novelty scale as Good. This proves that user experience engineering based on heuristic principles successfully created an adaptive, friendly, and inclusive SIMKOPDES interface for cooperative administrators with limited digital literacy.

Abstract

Midwifery education requires structured, flexible, and user-friendly digital media to support conceptual, procedural, and visual learning as well as assessments with varied question orders. This study develops EduBidan as a web-based Digital Midwifery LMS, analyzes Fisher-Yates Shuffle in evaluation quizzes, and evaluates functionality and usability. The system was developed using the Prototype method through five stages and three evaluation iterations. EduBidan supports Student, Lecturer, and Administrator roles with features for materials, quizzes, progress tracking, and grade summaries. Fisher-Yates Shuffle randomizes questions and answer options using a seed to maintain consistent arrangements for the same student and quiz. Testing included Black Box Testing, algorithm testing, and the System Usability Scale (SUS). All Black Box scenarios produced the expected results. Three algorithm-testing scenarios showed reordered items without missing or duplicated data, consistency after page reloads, and accurate scoring. SUS testing with 34 respondents produced a score of 84.41, grade B, an adjective rating of Excellent, and an acceptability range of Acceptable. The results indicate that EduBidan fulfills functional requirements, has good usability, and is acceptable to users.

Abstract

C++ programming is a fundamental course in computer science education; however, its abstract nature and strict syntax lead to low student learning interest. Previous studies indicate that conventional learning approaches are one-size-fits-all and do not accommodate individual learning style differences. This study designs and implements an adaptive learning-based educational game called "Code Adventure" that integrates the Felder-Silverman Learning Style Model (FSLSM), Item Response Theory (IRT), and Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA) within the Unity 2D game engine. System development follows the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) with five stages: initiation, pre-production, production, testing, and release. Functionality testing employs black-box testing, while the effectiveness of learning interest improvement is measured through a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design with convenience sampling of 19 students. Test results confirm that all adaptive learning features function according to specifications. N-Gain Score analysis yields an average value of 0.65 (medium category), indicating a significant improvement in C++ programming learning interest after using the adaptive educational game. These findings confirm that content personalization based on learning styles and dynamic difficulty adjustment can enhance student engagement and learning motivation

Abstract

The development of technology in forex trading has encouraged the use of automated systems to assist analysis and decision-making. However, traders still face challenges in technical analysis, emotional control, and time limitations, making an automated system for executing trades necessary. This study aims to design and implement an Expert Advisor (EA) based on the MQL5 programming language using Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicators. The method used is the waterfall model, which includes analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The system was tested using historical EUR/USD data on the MetaTrader 5 platform. The results show that the system generated 125 trades, consisting of 48 profitable and 77 losing trades, with a win rate of 38.40%. The system produced a profit of 21.29 USD with a maximum drawdown of 0.90%. Based on general trading performance standards, this win rate is considered relatively low; however, it is still acceptable due to the low drawdown, indicating that the system maintains controlled risk despite its suboptimal signal accuracy. In conclusion, the developed EA is capable of operating properly and generating profit, but further improvement is needed, particularly in enhancing signal accuracy to achieve better performance.

Abstract

Customer reviews on e-commerce platforms can be utilized to understand consumer perceptions of a product through sentiment analysis. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of customer reviews for Skintific Aqua Light Daily Sunscreen on the Tokopedia platform using the lexicon-based method with the InSet Lexicon and to evaluate its classification performance. The study applies the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) framework, which consists of data selection, data preprocessing, data transformation, data mining, and evaluation. The data were collected through web scraping using Python. Of the 672 reviews collected, 634 reviews remained after the data cleaning process. The preprocessing stage included case folding, text normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming. The results showed that 532 reviews (83.91%) were classified as positive, 78 reviews (12.30%) as negative, and 24 reviews (3.79%) as neutral. The evaluation was conducted on 100 randomly selected review samples validated by two validators. The inter-rater agreement, measured using Cohen's Kappa, was 0.34, indicating a Fair Agreement. Furthermore, the evaluation using a confusion matrix yielded an accuracy of 64.00%, a precision of 54.71%, a recall of 64.00%, and an F1-score of 58.42%. These results indicate that the lexicon-based method using the InSet Lexicon is capable of classifying most customer review sentiments, although it still has limitations in identifying neutral sentiment.

Abstract

The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a fundamental requirement in ensuring workplace safety, especially in chemical industry environments such as PT Mustika Dipa Lestari. However, manual PPE monitoring systems have significant limitations in consistency, efficiency, and coverage of large work areas. This research aims to develop an automatic detection system using the YOLO11 (You Only Look Once version 11) model based on static images to detect PPE usage among workers in industrial environments. The dataset consists of 406 images collected directly from PT Mustika Dipa Lestari with PPE objects including bouffant caps, laboratory coats, masks, and gloves. Data is divided with a 70:20:10 ratio for training, validation, and testing. Annotation was conducted using the Roboflow platform and the model was trained using the PyTorch framework with Adam optimizer over 150 epochs. Evaluation uses Mean Average Precision (mAP@50), mAP@0.5:0.95, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Results show that YOLO11 achieves optimal performance with mAP@50 of 96.91%, mAP@0.5:0.95 of 86.68%, precision of 98.30%, recall of 97.05%, and F1-score of 97.67%, surpassing the minimum business target of 85%. Comparison with YOLOv4 (mAP@50 = 66.47%) and YOLOv5 (mAP@50 = 95.75%) demonstrates YOLO11's superiority on a specialized chemical industry domain dataset.

Abstract

This research presents the development of a web-based Stock Opname Information System integrated with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support inventory decision-making at PT Sikat Bersih Indonesia. The existing stock opname process relies on spreadsheet-based recording, which increases the possibility of data inconsistencies, delays in reporting, and difficulties in identifying procurement priorities. The application was developed using the Waterfall software development model and implemented with PHP and MySQL. The SAW method evaluates inventory items using three criteria: Level of Need, Usage Frequency, and Remaining Stock. The developed application centralizes stock opname data, streamlines report generation, and produces objective recommendations for procurement priorities. Functional testing using the Black Box Testing approach confirmed that every feature operated as expected. These results indicate that the proposed system can effectively support stock opname activities and improve decision-making related to inventory management.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) method in an Android-based WiFi Analyzer application to enhance the security and efficiency of user access management in wireless network environments, addressing the difficulty technicians face in performing rapid network troubleshooting. The system was developed using the Scrum method and evaluated through Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 7 respondents across 4 evaluation indicators. RBAC was implemented to regulate access rights according to user roles (Developer, Admin, Subscriber), while the application's features include internet/intranet connection testing, signal strength analysis (RSSI), and best channel allocation recommendations. Black Box Testing results show that RBAC was 100% successful in dynamically restricting access rights based on user roles. UAT results, based on 70 total responses, show 92.9% positive ratings (61.4% Strongly Agree, 31.4% Agree), while 7.1% rated Disagree on indicators related to data reading speed and visualization display, with no Strongly Disagree responses recorded. These results demonstrate that the application effectively helps Engineers On Site analyze problems and adjust WiFi channels quickly and safely, although certain visualization aspects still require further refinement.

Abstract

Kabupaten Karawang merupakan salah satu lumbung padi utama di Provinsi Jawa Barat, tetapialih fungsi lahan dan dinamika iklim membuat pemantauan produksi padi yang akurat dan tepatwaktu menjadi kebutuhan yang semakin mendesak. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun danmengevaluasi model prediksi produktivitas padi (ton/ha) berbasis citra satelit multisensor danmachine learning pada 30 kecamatan di Kabupaten Karawang selama periode 2019 sampai 2025,dengan mengadopsi kerangka CRISP-DM. Fitur masukan diekstraksi dari citra Sentinel-2 (NDVIdan LSWI), Sentinel-1 SAR, serta data iklim pendukung melalui Google Earth Engine. Limaalgoritma diuji secara komparatif menggunakan skema validasi Leave-One-Year-Out (LOYO),yaitu Random Forest, Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), Ridge Regression, XGBoost, danLightGBM. Random Forest menjadi model terbaik pada level kecamatan dengan MAPE 7,207%,RMSE 0,580 ton/ha, dan Akurasi Kabupaten 94,154%, dengan R² sebesar 0,961 pada skalaproduksi absolut tingkat kecamatan. Pada level kabupaten, OLS tampil lebih unggul denganMAPE 5,279%. Saat diterapkan untuk estimasi produksi tahun 2025, model menghasilkan prediksi1.475.946,3 ton dibandingkan data aktual 1.439.910,2 ton, setara Akurasi Kabupaten 97,50%.Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa model berbasis citra satelit dapat difungsikan sebagai instrumenpendukung estimasi produktivitas dan produksi padi di Kabupaten Karawang
