Abstract

This research is made to describe the learning methods that students with academic achievements usually do and the mostcommon learning style used by students with academic achievements have on fifth grade at SD Negeri 02 Bandar Sungai.The subjects of the research itself are student of first, second and third grade who have academic achievement. This researchis a qualitative research. The data collecting process is held through observations, interviews and documentations. Dataanalyst in this research is using Milles and Huberman data analysis technique, the process itself is done through cpllectig,reducing, displaying and taking conclusion. This research going through creadibility test, dependsbility, and confirmation togain data validation. The result of the research shows that students learning methods on fifth grade students of SD Negeri 02Bandar Sungai is the combination of vak learning methods. The tedency of student’s learning methods is various, the firstgrade students would prefer visual, second grade students prefer auditorial, and third grade students choose kinectical wayof learning. From data collecting exhibits, none of theree achievers students use one learning method in majority. Herewith,in this research the way of learning as may weel said as learning methods don’t affect student’s academic achievements.There are others indicators to it . That for instance, parent encouragement, teacher teaching methods, students learningenvironment, interes and genetic that runs in the family.

Abstract

Reading learning plays an important role in primary school especially in grade 1. The students 'intelligence inprimary school is seen from students' reading ability because if students can not read other lessons will bedisturbed. Classroom action research is an improvement of the learning process to solve the problems thatteachers get in class. The data obtained after the research on the activity of the first cycle I teacher meeting withthe percentage of 50%, the second meeting with the percentage of 62.5%, in cycle II at the third meetingpercentage of 77.5%, and at the fourth meeting percentage of 97, 5%. Student observation data in this researchobtained the percentage of the first cycle of the first meeting of 52.5%, the second meeting of 62.5%, the thirdcycle of the third meeting of 75%, and the 4th meeting obtained by the percentage of 95% increased. The data ofreading skill in class 1 SDN 003 Pulau Jambu Kecamatan Cerenti on the initial data obtained an average of65.84, in the daily test I obtained the average class of 78.03, and in the daily test II obtained an average of 87.7this proves that the use of image media in effective reading learning is used.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning carried out by teachers is less attractive to elementary school students, resulting in student learning outcomes being low. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher teaching skills in designing teaching aids assisted by group guidance. This research is a school action research conducted at the Lubuk Batu Jaya sub-district target schools. The implementation of this study began February 18 to April 27, 2019. The subjects of this study were 4 groups of Mathematics teachers. Data analysis techniques are carried out through steps: data reduction, data presentation, verification. The results of the study showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II with the percentage and each category being 62% (sufficient) and 73% (good). The conclusion that can be drawn is that the teaching skills of elementary school mathematics teachers in designing learning assisted by teaching aids have increased after group guidance was carried out.

Abstract

Based on the facts that occur in the field the performance problem of principals is still not effective because it shows the phenomenon that the low competency of principals about entrepreneurship The author is interested in examining more deeply by researching the performance of elementary school principals in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency in terms of entrepreneurial competence. This study aims to reveal how much influence entrepreneurial competence has on the performance of elementary school principals in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu District. The method used in this study is a causal method with quantitative research. Data is taken from the distribution of instruments to 34 public elementary school principals from Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The results showed that: There was a significant effect between entrepreneurial competence (X) on the Principal's Performance (Y) with a correlation coefficient ry = 0.343 and a regression equation = 71,301 + 0.463X. The conclusion of this study is entrepreneurial competence in the performance of school principals produces a correlation coefficient of 0.586 and contributes 34.3% to the performance of school principals. The contribution of this entrepreneurial competency variable provides evidence that entrepreneurial competence is one of the determinants of school principal performance. This study recommends that the principals' entrepreneurial competence needs to be improved to improve the performance of the principal, efforts can be made to create a happy feeling and a comfortable school environment and the principal involves all teachers to work actively in achieving the vision, mission and goals of the school

Abstract

Friendly supervision conducted by principals is basically an effort to improve the quality of education and teaching in schools with core teaching programs supported by other elements such as teachers, facilities and infrastructure, curriculum, teaching and assessment systems. This research method is a school action research study subject of three teachers in class VI with the results of the study seen in the completeness of the administration of learning owned by teachers in the first cycle the average value is 66 with less categories, while the completeness of the administration of learning owned by teachers in the second cycle average the average value is 87 with a very good category. In the implementation of learning activities carried out by teachers in the first cycle the average value was 77.33 with enough categories, increasing in the second cycle with an average value of 90 with good categories. It was concluded that friendly supervision was effectively carried out in improving the quality of teacher learning.

Abstract

The study aims to explain the effect of Jigsaw type cooperative learning on the IPS learning outcomes and howfar the comprehension and mastery of IPS subjects after the implementation of Jigsaw type cooperative learningon the students of class VI of SD Negeri 020 Tembilahan Hilir. This research activity was conducted at SDNegeri 020 Tembilahan Hilir. This research was conducted in October odd semester of academic year2016/2017 with subject of 20 students. The study was conducted in two cycles with qualitative descriptivetechnique. The results of the action analysis show that: First, Jigsaw type cooperative learning has a positiveimpact in improving students 'learning achievement marked by the improvement of students' learning mastery inevery cycle, that is cycle I (60.00%) and cycle II (90.00%). Second, the application of cooperative learning typeJigsaw has a positive influence, which can improve students' learning motivation in IPS learning, it is shown byenthusiastic students who stated that students are interested and interested in cooperative learning type Jigsawso they become motivated to learn. Third, Jigsaw type cooperative learning has a positive impact on cooperationamong students, it is shown that there is a responsibility in groups where students are better able to teach theirless fortunate friends.

Abstract

The background of this study is that students do not yet know how to write the decapitation correctly. This study aims to describe the ability to decapitate the third grade students of SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were third grade students of SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. The sample used in this study was 155 students. The data collection technique used by this researcher is a written test technique. The written test used in this study is in the form of a short essay with a number of 30 questions. Analysis of the data used in this study is quantitative or statistical. The results showed that the ability to decapitate the third grade students of Pekanbaru Elementary School 37 in the category of Less or equal to 49.70. This is evidenced by the acquisition of data, namely: Obtaining an average score of the ability to decapitate the first indicator of 60.96 with the category "Enough", the average score of the ability to decapitate the ability of the second indicator is 34.14 with the category "Less", while the average score of the decapitation ability on the third indicator is 54.68 with the category "Enough".

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activities of learners, especially in the reproductive competence of plants where inthe learning process of students in the group directed to follow the appropriate learning steps. This research wasconducted on students of class XII ATP 2 SMKN 1 Pasir Penyu, as many as 29 people. In cycle 1 shows that afterthe learning action through the use of power point media was 73.52% complete learners learn, absorption 83.39%,100% material completeness and learner activity is in less active category. In cycle 2 shows students' learningmastery of 76.47%, absorption 86.04%, 100% material exhaustiveness and learner activity exist in fairly activecategory. From the results of this study showed that after the learning action through the use of power point media,it turns out the activities and learning outcomes of learners in the reproductive competence of plants from cycle 1and cycle 2 increased significantly.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of IPS learning outcomes student class VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kabupaten Kampar. This study aims to determine the increase IPS learning outcomes student class VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kabupaten Kampar. Application of learning strategies completely wrong serial held for 1 month. The subjects were grade VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kabupaten Kampar by the number of students as many as 46 people. Form of research is classroom action research. The research instrument consists of instruments and instrument performance data collection activity observation sheet form teacher and student activity. Based on the research, the conclusion of the current study is based on the results of student learning in social studies, the prior action learning outcomes of students classified as not yet complete or has not been successful, with classical completeness students who completed was 37%, or only 17, after the applied strategy cooperative learning really one chain students who completed the first cycle increased compared to prior to the action, but the first cycle also can not be said to be successful, because the classical completeness students who completed was 63%, or 29 students who completed, the second cycle student learning outcomes increased with classical completeness 87%, which means that research can be said to be successful.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of students' mathematics learning is still low. This study was conducted on studentsof class I of SD Negeri 3 Talang Mandai. This study aims to improve student mathematics learning outcomes throughrealistic mathematic education (RME). From the analysis of data from observations of teacher activity activities, in cycle Iobtained a percentage value of 62.5 in the poor category, at the second meeting increased to 79.16 with sufficient categories,meeting three gained a percentage value of 87.5 in the good category, while meeting four increased to 95.83 in the categoryvery good. In terms of student activity, in cycle I, the percentage score was 58.33 in the less category, at the second meetingit increased to 70.83 with enough categories, the meeting of three cycles II, obtained a percentage value of 79.16 withenough categories, while the fourth meeting increased to 91.66 with very good category. For student learning outcomes, thebasic score, the average value of 56.5 class with less category. in the first cycle the average value of 65.5 class with enoughcategories. Cycle II, the average value of 90.5 grade with very good pesentase. From the data analysis, it can be concludedthat the realistic mathematic education (RME) which is applied to the learning process is very effective, this is evidenced bythe increase in student learning outcomes in class I of the SD Negeri 3 Talang Mandai.
