Abstract

Differentiated education, initiated in the Merdeka Curriculum, aims to adjust teaching methods to meet the diverse needs, learning styles, and abilities of students in a class, ensuring that students do not feel pressured or left behind compared to others and preventing stress-related issues. In the Qur'an, specifically in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286), which says, La Yukllifullahu Nafsan Illa Wus'Aha, Allah does not burden anyone beyond their capacity. While this verse addresses burdens in worship, it holds relevance in the context of education. Therefore, this study aims to explore this verse as a foundation for the concept of differentiated education in the Merdeka Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach, analyzing several Qur'anic interpretations and journals related to differentiated education. The results of this study indicate that the verse La Yukllifullahu Nafsan Illa Wus'Aha provides a strong foundation for creating inclusive learning that aligns with students' capacities, in line with Islamic values of justice and respect for individual abilities.

Abstract

One of the important things that must be considered in the development or integration of Islamic values in Islamic education management is the curriculum. The purpose of writing this paper is to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to curriculum management in Islamic educational institutions. Through the literature study method, this study analyzes Surah Ali Imran verses 190-191, which can be used as a guideline in developing a curriculum integrated with Islamic values. The scope of the curriculum analyzed in this study is related to the objectives and content of the curriculum. There are three main characteristics that must be integrated in relation to the objectives of the Islamic education curriculum, namely the character of dhikr (spirituality), the character of fikr (critical thinking), and amal pious (beneficial actions). The development of curriculum content based on the three characters that are the objectives of the curriculum includes Islamic knowledge, general knowledge, community service projects, and physical development. The results of the analysis show that the objective of Islamic education curriculum management is to form individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also have good morals and are able to make positive contributions to society.

Abstract

This study explores the revitalization of the values of gotong royong (mutual cooperation) and noble character in the framework of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) based on Qur'anic values. Amidst rapid social and technological transformations, traditional values such as solidarity and ethics are eroding. This research employs a literature study to analyze Qur'anic principles as foundational elements for character education in Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum. The findings highlight that gotong royong fosters communal solidarity and empathy, rooted in Qur'anic teachings like QS. Al-Maidah 2, which emphasizes cooperation for virtue. Similarly, noble character, drawn from prophetic examples in QS. Al-Ahzab 21, underlines moral integrity, empathy, and social harmony. The integration of these values through P5 involves collaborative projects, daily behavioral reinforcement, and reflective practices. These initiatives cultivate students' intellectual, social, and spiritual balance, preparing them as socially responsible individuals. The study concludes with recommendations for systematic strategies to embed these values into educational curricula, ensuring a holistic approach to developing resilient and ethical youth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of multicultural values among students at the Modern Qomamadani Qur'an Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School in Batang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The Modern Qomamadani Qur'an Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School in Batang was chosen as the research location because it is known as an institution that integrates religious education with multicultural values. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of multicultural values in this boarding school is carried out through several strategies. First, through a curriculum that integrates materials on tolerance, cultural diversity, and peace. Second, through extracurricular activities that involve students in various activities that emphasize cooperation and appreciation for differences. Third, through everyday practices in the boarding school that reflect respect for the diverse backgrounds of the students. The implementation of these multicultural values has a positive impact on students' attitudes and behavior. Students become more open, tolerant, and able to work with people from various cultural backgrounds. This also strengthens social bonds among students and shapes students' character to be more inclusive and appreciative of diversity. This study concludes that multicultural education in boarding schools plays an important role in shaping students' character to be tolerant and appreciative of differences. The Modern Qomamadani Qur'an Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School in Batang can serve as a model for other religious educational institutions in integrating multicultural values into the educational process.
