Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in learning outcomes of writing text of observation report on class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya with an integrative approach. This approach is to increase students' learning motivation so that the learning outcomes obtained are better. This type of research used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. The location of the study was at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. The research subjects were students of class X IPA2 semester in academic year 2019/2020. The application of the integrative approach is carried out through 5 stages: (a) preparation, (b) problem orientation, (c) group assignment, (d) group presentation, and (e) evaluation. Observations were made using instruments in the form of observation sheets of teacher and student activities to record their activities in learning. Based on Cycle I and Cycle II, the application of integrative approaches in learning Indonesian can be implemented well. It can be seen from the observation sheet of the implementation of research and student activities while following the learning process. The student learning outcomes in writing written text of the observation report has increased, seen from the percentage of learning outcomes that increased from students completeness by 38% in Cycle I to 90% in CycleII. It was proven that the application of the integrative approach can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated when the teacher delivered material tended to use conventional method (lectures) which resulted in students becoming bored. The models and strategies used in classroom learning to tend to be less attractive so that students' enthusiasm for learning decreases. As well as props/ media that are rarely used related to the material to be achieved so that students' motivation is less to participate in learning in thematic subjects, especiallyscience. This study aims to determine the effect of the example non example cooperative learning model on students' learning motivation in science subjects outside the body of plants and their function in Class IV SDN 06 Raut. This research uses Quasi experimental design or quasi experiment. While the design in this experimental study used the research design One group pre test and post test. And the method in this research is simple linear regression. Theresults of students' learning motivation in Science were obtained through analysis pretest and post test data, namely pretest (before) obtained an average of 53.95% while the post test data analysis (after) obtained an average of 56.3%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the example non example cooperative learning model does not have an insignificant effect on the motivation to learn science in the material outside the body ofanimals and plants and its function in grade IV SDN 06 Raut.

Abstract

Implementation of learning in the classroom is one of the main tasks of teachers, and learning can be defined as activities aimed at membelajarkan students. In the learning process is still often found their tendency to minimize the involvement of students. The dominance of the teacher in the learning process leads to the tendency of students more passive so that they are more waiting serving teachers than to seek and find their own knowledge, skills or attitudes that they need. Determination of improper strategy can be fatal, can cause failure of learning. Here of course the task of teachers trying to make learning more exciting and fun for all the students. Abstract

Penulisan makalah ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal; (Tujuan penulisan ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kondisi belajar matematika, mendeskripsikan bentuk RPP pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel dan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel di SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Kondisi belajar matematika peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak,Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 semester 1 yakni: (1) pembelajaran cenderung terfokus hanya kepada guru sedangkan peserta didik pasif, kurang memperhatikan apa yang disampaikan oleh guru, serta kurang dapat mengkomunikasikan apa yang mereka pelajari; (2) guru sering menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Instruction) yang mengakibatkan peserta didik tidak aktif untuk bertanya dan mengemukakan pendapat dan terkadang guru juga biasanya menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif, tetapi tidak berjalan dengan maksimal; (3) Bentuk RPP yang diungkapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sudah memuat model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together dapat membuat peserta didik lebih aktif terhadap kegiatan pembelajaram serta kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dapat meningkat.

Abstract

This research was to describe the dynamic implementation of KKNI-Based Curriculum through contextual dialogical literacy. The findings revealed that General Skilled English Subjects (MKUE) in the concept of pragmatism integrates the understanding of current applicative and exploratory competence. With purposive sampling, 24 S2 BE students predominantly stated that MKUE learning based on contextual dialogical literacy accelerated mastery comprehensively in receptive and productive communication. MKUE accommodates the performance of contextual dialogue emphasizing the context of reading, sharing, and reflecting. Materials development, presentation management, question answering, and packaging arguments encourage S2 BE students to appear as innovative learners. The aspect of competition did not arise for its winning nature. Collaborative and co-learning aspects dominate as a social reflection of the spirit of dialogue and cooperation. Whereas, current intensity is in demand as an application of the practical concept of the digital era in integrating technological progress into MKUE, through descriptive exploration, the data concluded that students are facilitated to develop their competence dynamically, integratedly, and innovatively presented in MKUE learning. They are advised to implement this approach maximally, especially in integrating the development of learning materials with local content insights.

Abstract

In learning to read, it involves students to be active with teacher’s guidance, so that the concepts on the subject can be understood, so as to improve students' reading skills. By improving reading skills through the use of SQ3R learning method, students are expected to be able to solve problems, make decisions, think critically, and think creatively so that students’ learning outcomes can also be improved. The SQ3R method is expected that students can understand andremember the material in a longer / permanent period of time. The use of the SQ3R method in learning will feel more interesting so that it can increase motivation to understand a reading. In essence, reading is a physical and mental activity to find the meaning of writing, although in that activity there is a process of recognizing letters. Based on the two opinions above, the researcheragrees that reading involves many things including physical, namely the eyes, involving mental, namely thoughts, especially perception and memory. To achieve the goal of reading, it requires not only the ability to understand what is implied but also the skills to understand what is implied in a reading text.

Abstract

Aims to help teachers of English in overcoming difficulties and student learning in English lessons . Efforts English teacher with the development model through the elaboration of Media Audio Visual . Techniques of collecting data using questionnaires , observation and interviews . Implementation of the trial , as well as the acquisition of skills competency test text writing . All data collected were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively using a simple matter of percentages . Abstract

This study aimed at determining the improvement of learning outcomes of the learners after  the use of Cooperative Strategy TPS Model on SPLDV material in class VIII MTs. Negeri Ketapang. The design of this study was descriptive research method with its subject of the students of class VIII B MTs. Negeri Ketapang. The data collection techniques used were measurement techniques with data collection tools: test, observation sheet for students as a class, learners' individual observation sheet and teacher's observation sheet. The type of test used was essay test. The improved learning outcomes of learners was 6.80%. The average percentage of learners’ activity was classically increased by 27.50%. Individual learner’s activity increased at each stage of the TPS Strategy Model. The average thinking stage increases at 70.63%, the average pairing stage increased at 62.50% it also equally performed the sharing stage that increased at 62.50%. The average percentage of individual learner’s activity increased at 62.50% and teachers’ activity increased at 30.77%. So it was concluded that there was an increase in learning outcomes of the learners after being applied the Model of Co-operative TPS Strategy on SPLDV materialin Class VIII MT's, Negeri Ketapang.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the process of activities in an effort to improve mastery of understanding integer operations through the PAIKEM technique The Power Of Two (strength of two peoples) in class VII A Junior High School 3 Kubu. Mastery of understanding integer operations by students in mathematics learning is still low, so that the learning was unpleasant and uninteresting. Therefore, we need a learning technique that is able to improve mastery of understanding by students so that it can also improve learning outcomes. The method used is the method of discussion. Results of this study are indicated by an increase in mastery of understanding integer operating material by students in learning. In the first cycle of meeting 1 obtained 60.25%, and meeting 2 obtained 62.73%. In the second cycle meeting 1 obtained 79.87% and meeting 2 obtained 79.50% with the mastering category.

Abstract

The object of the authors of this Scientific paper study is based on the fact thatstudents' understanding of the Exposition Text material is still low. In fact, bymastering of Indonesian language in general, the students do not experiencedifficulties in learning other subjects. This observation was carried out in Januaryto May 2017, because in those months the students had finished the general testand were at the end of the semester so that the condition of the students could be observed from the beginning. The Advance Organizer teaching model is one of the models in the information processing family developed by David Ausubel (1963). From this writing, it can be concluded that the existence of motivation in Advance Organizing learning the ability of students towards Exposition Text material and learning outcomes will be optimal. The more precise the motivation provided, the more successful the lesson will be. With high motivation, the intensity of student learning efforts. It will be able to increase students' understanding of the Exposition Text material in the media through the advance organizer. Keywords: Improvement, Exposition Text Material, Mass Media, Advance Organizer
