Abstract

This research is aimed to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Pontianak. This research was conducted in two cycles, in each cycle having planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data analysis techniques that guide data management by using a percentage (%) to achieve a constant of 100. A maximum score of 92 out of seven pedagogical competencies consisting of; Competency 1; Get to know the characteristics of students. Competency 2; Mastering learning theory and principles of learning. Competency 3; Curriculum Development. Competency 4: Educating learning activities. Competency 5; Understand and develop potential. Competency 6; Communication with students. Competency 7: Assessment and evaluation. Research Results in the first cycle the lowest value of 70% and in thesecond cycle the lowest value of 80%. The highest average value in cycle I was 79% and the highest average value in cycle II was 84%. There is an increase in percentage of teacher pedagogical competence through academic supervision by 5% from cycle I.

Abstract

Aims to help teachers of English in overcoming difficulties and student learning in English lessons . Efforts English teacher with the development model through the elaboration of Media Audio Visual . Techniques of collecting data using questionnaires , observation and interviews . Implementation of the trial , as well as the acquisition of skills competency test text writing . All data collected were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively using a simple matter of percentages . Based on the results of the discussion can be concluded that the results " Development of a model elaboration for proficiency text writing with media Audiovisual in the subjects of English Class X Administration Department SMK Negeri 2 Singkawang " which includes the design development models elaboration , procedures for use use models elaboration , as well as the impact of Media Valid audio- visual that is based on the display content, the learning aspect and the aspect programan.

Abstract

This research purposed to increase students learning activities of XII MIA 3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak on magnetic induction materials. This research consist of 2 (two) cycles with each meeting takes time 3x45 minutes. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and analysis section.. To get class management and learning activities data, teacher and student’s observation sheet was used. The results showed that application of cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization can improve student’s activities in class XII MIA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak on magnetic induction material from 45 activities in the first cycle to 70 activities in the second cycle.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan  di SMAN 2 Sungai Raya sangat tidak kondusif, hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa khususnya pada pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Kelas X. Banyak siswa memperoleh nilai dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) saat dilakukan penilaian. Ketuntasan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 40%. Sedangkan selebihnya memiliki nilai rendah. Pada semester ganjil siswa kelas X mempelajari Materi Ungkapan Pemaparan Jati Diri  berbahasa Inggris. Metode pengajaran yang diterapkan tentu harus mempertimbangkan kebutuhan siswa SMA. Oleh karena itu maka  guru menerapkan metode yang dapat membuat siswa memahami apa yang akan disampaikan guru. Salah satu metode yang dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada Materi Ungkapan  Pemaparan Jati Diri  di SMA adalah Melalui Model Pembelajaran Experiential Learning. Model Pembelajaran Experiential Learning adalah sebuah model holistic dari proses pembelajaran di mana manusia belajar, tumbuh dan berkembang. Penyebutan istilah experiential learning dilakukan untuk menekankan bahwa experience (pengalaman) berperan penting dalam proses pembelajaran dan membedakannya dari teori pembelajaran lainnya seperti teori pembelajaran kognitif ataupun behaviorisme. Pada pra siklus ada 15 siswa yang tuntas, kemudian meningkat pada siklus 1 menjadi 24 siswa, pada siklus 2 mencapai 32 siswa. Presentase ketuntasan siswa menunjukkan pada pra siklus 43%, kemudian meningkat menjadi 69% pada siklus 1 dan menjadi 91% pada siklus 2. Maka penelitian dengan permasalahan "Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Experiential Learning   Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Ungkapan Pemaparan Jati Diri  Di Kelas X IPA2   SMAN 2 Sungai Raya   Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 ", dalam proses dan jangka waktu yang tidak pendek, Model Pembelajaran Experiential Learning   ini berdampak positif bagi siswa yaitu siswa kelas X IPA2 bisa meningkatkan Prestasi Belajarnya Pada Materi Ungkapan Pemaparan Jati Diri.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem (a) How is the improvement of PAI learning achievement by applying the collaborative teaching model for the fourth grade students of SDN 14 Pulau Kumbang in academic year 2017/2018 (b) What is the effect of the collaborative teaching model on the motivation of PAI learning for the fourth grade students of SDN 14 Pulau Kumbang 2017/2018. While the objectives of this research are (a) to find out the improvement of PAI learning achievement after the implementation of the collaborative teaching model (b) to know the effect of PAI learning motivation after applying the collaborative teaching model. This research uses action research as much as three cycles. Each round consists of four stages: planning, observing, reflecting and revising. The target of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 14 Pulau Kumbang in academic year 2017/2018. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of analysts, it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (73.17%), cycle II (82.93%), cycleIII (95.12%). The conclusion of this study is the cooperative learning method can positively influence the achievement and motivation of students in class IV SDN 14 Pulau Kumbang in academic year 2017/2018 and this learning model can be used as an alternative to PAI learning.

Abstract

This study was aimed at obtaining a deep understanding of the students' ability to read scientific texts, the obstacles they face, and how to overcome students’ difficulties of the second semester of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program in 2020 of FKIP Untan Pontianak. The results of the students' ability to read scientific texts are used as teaching policies in an effort to motivate and increase students in reading scientific texts to make thembetter. The method used in this research was descriptive, a form of quantitative research. The data of this research ere the test results of the ability to read scientific texts regarding literal understanding, interpretation, evaluation, and understanding of appreciation. Sources of data in this study were students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, semester II of 2020, FKIP Untan Pontinak. Data collection tools were objective test questions on reading comprehension and content interpretation. The data analysis usedquantitative descriptive techniques. The validity of the data was done by checking the validity of the data and it was proven by the triangulation proposed by Robin and Meleong. The reliability of the ability to read scientific texts was determined by the reliability of the rating results. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the students' ability to read scientific texts hadan average value of 74.46. This study covered 30 students. There were 22 students with good grades above 70. There are 8 students whose grades were below 70 or not good. The obstacles faced by students in reading scientific texts were students who were not accurate in answering questions 26.6%, who did not master the vocabulary of absorption elements 27%, who did not understand the meaning of words based on the context of written sentences 30%. Students who did not master the meaning of foreign loan words, 23%, were less able to interpret meanings and read evaluatively 27%. The solutions and suggestions given to overcome these obstacles were as follows: Students are trained to read comprehension critically, to look for difficult vocabulary elements of foreign language absorption, to explain their meaning and use them in the context of other sentences, to assess evaluative reading both in groups and individually.Students also need to take the initiative to learn on their own even though they are not assigned /supervised by lecturers.

Abstract

This research was directed to find out “penerpan” model of investigative group in the learning process to support the preparation of candidates for professional teachers in the Faculty of Education in University of Tanjungpura. The approach used in this study is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches (mixing qualitative and quantitative method), which was developed through the course of Professional Education on research subjects of Physics Education Study Program students who take these courses. The study found that the group investigating models were able to improve their knowledge and understanding about the implementation of the learning process in schools. Similarly, this model was able to increase the the students’ dimensions of values applied to improve the ability of students. This is the model of investigative group designed and implemented in an integrated manner for the subject courses of Professional Education, by optimizing the active role of students as well as institutional support. This study recommends that this model was developed for a wider variety of courses for improving the knowledge and the expansion of the students’ experience. In addition, the need for further research deepens or extends the findings of this study.

Abstract

Counseling plays an important role to be given to the student in person or group, so that they reach maturity and attitude and the ability to think positive in everything that happens in this life. To enhance students' understanding of positive thinking ability, the researchers seek to improve service by using the method of Problem Based Learning (PBL) aided Role Playing. PBL is a learning model that uses matter as a first step in collecting and integrating new knowledge. This method is aided by the method of role playing or playing a role. At BK services to enhance the understanding of positive thinking students are given problems / events going on around them. Furthermore, students solve and take the positive things in the problem that eventually integrate knowledge about the importance of positive thinking. Further events / issues that serve students in role play activities / role playing.Strategi Problem Based Learning aided Role Playing very interesting for students to understand the ability to think positively.

Abstract

Pencapaian hasil belajar siswa yang belum sesuai dengan target yang telah ditetapkan dapat disebabkan oleh kejenuhan atau kebosanan yang dirasakan siswa. Kejenuhan dapat menurunkan motivasi siswa dalam menyerap pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah untukmenganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray pada materi Mobilitas Sosial di kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan Cooperative Two Stay Two Stray sebagai model pembelajaran dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, yaitu siklus pertama dengan 2 kali pertemuan dansiklus 2 juga dengan 2 kali pertemuan dan dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut 1) Meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus 1 pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua sebesar 14,44%; 2) Pada siklus 2 pertemuan pertama, motivasibelajar siswa semakin meningkat dengan keaktifan rata-rata sebesar 92,77%; dan 3)Meningkatnya motivasi belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari keaktifan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Two Stay Two Stray dimana semakin muncul rasa percaya diri siswa dalam mempresentasikan hasil kerja kelompok, menanggapi jawaban teman, atau memberi kesimpulan.
