Abstract

Basic Health Research data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2018 showed that nationally the problem of central obesity at the age of 15 years was still serious, namely, 31%, while the prevalence of central obesity at the age of 15 years in Maluku reached 33%. Obesity is becoming a health problem worldwide; even the WHO states that obesity has become a global epidemic. Obesity is a health problem that must address immediately because it is a risk factor for degenerative diseases and metabolic syndrome. Obesity in adolescents needs to get serious attention, be consistent, and be addressed together. To improve health status and optimize adolescent growth and development, it is necessary to apply a healthy diet through the socialization of balanced nutrition with comic media and implementation assistance. Urban gardening for teenagers through mosque youth can be an effort to implement healthy eating patterns for teenagers for optimal nutrition and health status.

Abstract

In the digital age, MSMEs must continuously innovate and devise impactful marketing strategies to stay competitive in the midst of intense business competition. Embracing digital marketing is crucial, but it comes with challenges, particularly in creating compelling promotional texts. To address this, the author assisted “Kedai Uni Im”, a MSMEs specializing in Minang Kabau delicacies, by utilizing ChatGPT for marketing content creation. Training and mentoring were provided as part of the science and technology diffusion method. The study's results indicate positive outcomes, including successful implementation of promotional text designs using ChatGPT, increased confidence in creating social media content, and more regular updates on social media platforms. Going forward, it is recommended to explore further benefits of ChatGPT for supporting MSMEs. Additionally, considering the significance and benefits of using ChatGPT for MSMEs, these materials can be replicated and shared broadly with other MSMEs players.

Abstract

Abstrak Tingginya kesadaran akan Kesehatan dalam masyarakat masih menjadi masalah, Penyebab umumnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran akan pentingnya memelihara kesehatan sebagai upaya mengurangi resiko dalam penyakit dalam Perilaku hidup bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Program PHBS dalam pemerintahan sudah dilaksanakan akan tetapi bekum cukup optimal. Hal ini dintanda dengan masih tingginya angka kematian ibu dan Anak, gizi buruk, penyakit menular dan tidak menular, gaya hidup tidak sehat. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mendukung program pemerintah dalam PBHS dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya perilaku hidu bersih dan sehat guna menurunkan resiko terjadinya penyakit. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan pada Kelompok Tani di Sumber Makmur di kecamatan Kaliwungu Kabupaten Kendal. Metode kegiatan dimulai dengan tahapan observasi penyebab kurangnya kesadaran perilaku PHBS dilanjurkan dengan tahapan advokasi terhadap sumber penyebab. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada Kelompok Tani Sumber Makmur. Peningkatan pengetahuan antara lain pentingnya mempunyai sarana air bersih, jamban yang bersih, kebiasaan merokok yang tidak baik, pembuangan sampah pada tempatnya, dan konsumsi makanan bergizi.

Abstract

The stunting prevalence rate in Pacitan still stands at 22.77 per cent. Of course, this figure is still relatively high, far from the target from WHO, below 20 per cent. This fact has encouraged the Kembang Village, Pacitan Regency community to carry out activities or efforts to reduce the prevalence of stunting. First, the form of activities is holding a stunting prevention seminar, where competent speakers such as Ir. Kuriyah, M.M as a representative of PPKB and P3A, then Khuzaini from the Health Office and Yuli Rahmawati Mutiah, M.A from the University Of Warith Al Anbiya. It was second, conducting counselling on stunting in pregnant and lactating women by involving Village Midwives, Posyandu Cadres, and Doctors from Pacitan Health Center. Third, providing balanced and nutritious supplementary food and then distributing the results of processed healthy food to children from the Kembang Village community. The efforts made went well and smoothly. It's due to the support of various parties who participated in the activities' success, especially the people of Kembang Village.

Abstract

The use of smartphones is a major need at this time, especially for teenagers, but excessive use can have a negative impact, one of which is becoming addicted to smartphones. This is allegedly sourced from problems in the relationship between parents and children as well as the lack of warm communication in the family. This PkM aims to increase parent's comprehension of smartphone addiction in children, especially teenagers and to be able to describe the role of the family in preventing the emergence of smartphone addiction. This PkM activity uses the lecture method in the form of hybrid seminars (online and offline) providing psychoeducation to parents regarding early detection of smartphone addiction and optimizing the role of the family in preventing smartphone addiction in adolescents accompanied by questions and answers, and evaluation. The results showed that there was an increase in parental knowledge in the very good and good (52%) and sufficient (24%) categories. Optimizing the role of the family, in this case, parents as educators, helps maximize the relationship and communication between parents and children to prevent smartphone addiction in adolescents.

Abstract

Weeds are plants that disturb or harm human interests, especially in the process of plant growth. Weeds are one of the main factors that can cause a decrease in agricultural yields. Weeds can also harm farmers or agricultural businesses by reducing the quality of agricultural production. Weed control or weeding can be done by means of preventive, mechanical, biological, technical culture, chemical and synthetic. Weed control with herbicides is the main choice compared to other methods because they are considered more effective in controlling weeds, besides being more cost-effective and time-effective. Weeding is an effort that must be done against it so as not to inhibit plant growth. With this activity, it can increase the community's ability to use palm vinegar as a natural herbicide to help farmers increase their crop yields, reduce the use of incendiary herbicides in weed control so as to increase the community's ability in organic farming.

Abstract

Education at the Vocational High School (SMK) level is an important alternative for students to develop their skills and be ready to face competition in an increasingly competitive job market. SMK graduates have technical skills and are ready to enter work sectors related to procedures and routines. In Riau Province, the upstream oil and gas industry provides opportunities for SMK graduates to participate in this sector. SMK Migas in Duri City and Dumai City were established to prepare students for positive contributions to the oil and gas industry around the region. The development of technology, especially in the field of information technology, encourages the industry to apply the technology in every aspect of its operations. Modernization and digitalization also affect the oil and gas industry sector, which includes exploration and exploitation activities. The oil and gas industry requires reliable human resources (HR), given the density of capital and technology in this sector. However, companies tend to look for experienced workers, so SMK graduates need to have skills that can be directly used in the oil and gas industry. The transition to an increasingly advanced technological era requires SMK graduates to have the ability to adapt to technology, especially in the use of computers as a means of work and learning. Behave=adaptive Being able to operate the Microsoft Office program package is an important requirement for every individual who uses a computer, either in the form of a personal computer (PC) or laptop. Laptops are also the main device for freelance engineers in conducting engineering analysis from simple to complex.

Abstract

Padukuhan Grogol IX merupakan daerah yang berada di bagian timur Kelurahan Parangtritis, Kretek, Bantul, Yogyakarta yang sebagian besar penduduknya bergantung pada sektor pertanian dan peternakan. Secara kelembagaan, peternak yang berada pada padukuhan ini berada dalam suatu wadah kelompok ternak bernama “Makaryo” yang memiliki masalah utama berupa penanganan limbah yang kurang baik akibat tidak berfungsinya digester biogas/biodigester yang telah terbangun sejak tahun 2015. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu: 1) pelaksanaan kelompok diskusi terarah, 2) observasi lapangan terkait kondisi biodigester dan eksplorasi potensi sumber daya lokal, 3) sosialisasi pemanfaatan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL) berbasis sumber daya lokal berupa bonggol pisang dan praktek pembuatannya, serta 4) aplikasi mikroorganisme lokal (MOL) berbasis bonggol pisang pada digester biogas. Setelah dilakukan observasi mendalam, permasalahan utama yang terjadi adalah tidak adanya input tambahan berupa mikroorganisme yang berperan dalam menghasilkan biogas terutama gas metana (CH4) oleh biodigester yang telah dibangun ini serta bahan baku biodigester yang terlalu kering. Adapun langkah yang telah dilakukan adalah dengan membuat larutan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL) dengan cara mencampurkan bonggol pisang yang ketersediaannya melimpah dengan gula merah yang telah dicacah lalu difermentasi kurang lebih selama 1-2 minggu. Selanjutnya, larutan fermentasi yang telah tersedia tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam digester biogas bersamaan dengan kotoran sapi yang telah dicampur air dengan perbandingan 1 : 1. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan, digester biogas milik kelompok ternak “Makaryo” di Padukuhan Grogol IX dapat berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya yang ditunjukkan dengan menyalanya api pada kompor biogas.

Abstract

This community service is an activity related to community economic empowerment through socialization and training in implementing green product entrepreneurial production strategies. The problem that arises in the production of green products is the limitation of knowledge that causes the quality of local products to be unable to compete in national, regional, and international markets. In order to support community service, community economic empowerment efforts about green products will help small and medium enterprises to know how to develop the production of competing for green products. For this reason, this activity will provide assistance and training in green product production strategy skills, so that later partners are able to become independent and have a production strategy. These skills in addition to being beneficial to themselves will at least help reduce the economic burden of the family by earning income from the production of green products developed. The outcome of this activity is (1) the Development of green product knowledge. (2) Assistance of participants in transforming into green business-oriented businesses by involving local communities to produce green products.

Abstract

Augmented dan Virtual Reality merupakan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik yang mengkombinasikan konten dunia nyata dan virtual. Selain itu, media pembelajaran ini dapat menjadi modalitas untuk eksplorasi stimulasi sensorik dan motorik Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Edukasi yang diadakan di SLB Negeri PKK Provinsi Lampung oleh tim PKM ITERA bertujuan untuk mengenalkan pada guru-guru manfaat dan fungsi Augmented dan Virtual Reality ke pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan berupa teknik ceramah dan peragaan sebagai sosialisasi kepada guru guru dengan beberapa tahapan, yang diawali dengan persiapan kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi didapatkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan dan kemampuan 23 orang guru pada persentase skor capaian dari yang sebelumnya rerata ≤50% menjadi ≥76%. Pada interpretasi juga meningkat yang rerata sebelumnya “tidak baik” menjadi “sangat baik”. Hasil analisis diperoleh dari rerata perbedaan di lima indikator penilaian pada masing-masing materi Augmented dan Virtual Reality. Jadi, potensi siswa terfasilitasi pada sarana eksplorasi semakin tinggi.
