Abstract

The phenomenon of moral decadence is a topic that never dims. Like an endless sea, problem after problems related to the moral decline of the nation's children continues to roll over time. Religious education has an important role in overcoming moral problems that never end. Hadith as the basis of the second Islamic law certainly has a very basic position in Islamic education. Among the thousands of hadiths in the Islamic books, there are 40 hadith selected by Imam Nawawi, then collected in a book called al-arbain al-nawawiyah. The book al-arbain al-nawawiyah received an extraordinary reception from all corners of the world, even the book became a mandatory lesson in Indonesian Islamic Boarding Schools in general. The development of the times brought its challenges in moral matters, especially for the millennial generation. Presumably, the actualization and contextualization of moral values in the book needs to be done. So that found moral values that are relevant to the times. In the end, moral values can easily be understood and practised. And after researching the study of literature from various related references, the authors find that there are moral values that are relevant for overcoming the problem of decadence that is increasingly afflicting. So it is proper for moral studies to be found in the book of al-arbain al-nawawiyah to be studied not only in pesantren but also in other formal and informal institutions.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum as a reference in the education process in Indonesia also impacts on the learning model of religious education. The current education curriculum accommodates students' multiple intelligences. This paper aims to uncover the dimensions and implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum based on multiple intelligences at the Elementary School level. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The results showed that the dimensions of multiple intelligences in the 2013 PAI curriculum at Elementary School level can be seen through the classification of nine intelligences (according to Howard Gadner) in each section of core competence. Spiritual competence contains existential intelligence. Social competence is related to interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. In the aspect of knowledge includes logical-mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, musical intelligence. On the other hand, competency skills contain visual-spatial intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, and naturalist intelligence. Implementation of the concept of multiple intelligences in PAI 2013 curriculum learning can be done by recognizing students' multiple intelligences; preparing a draft of learning; develop learning models, and determine the multiple intelligence-based assessment models in the 2013 PAI curriculum at Elementary School level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sun as the centre of the solar system in the heliocentric theory from the point of view of physics and the Qur'an. The research method used is a qualitative research method with library research (Library Research). The results of this study are proof of the truth that in the Qur'an, there is also a science that explains the heliocentric theory, which states that the sun is the centre of the solar system. Based on the idea of Nicolaus Copernicus in a book entitled De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium, it has been published that the heliocentric theory can overthrow the long-established geocentric theory. The Qur'an was revealed long before the astronomical concept of the earth's motion was put forward and was in line with the heliocentric view. In the Al-Qur'an, there are verses about the world, moon and sun, for example, Yunus: 5, al-Naml: 88, and Yasin: 38-40. The sun as the centre of the solar system is not static but also in motion. This is explained in the Al-Qur'an in Surah Yasin verses 38-40. Ahmad Mustafa al-Maraghi in Tafsir al-Maraghi emphasized that the heliocentric theory is by the Qur'an and the birth of the heliocentric idea is part of the miracle of al-Qur'an.

Alternative solutions are: 1) overcoming resistance to change; 2) innovating; and 3) maximizing the power of change in educational institutions, including support for human resources, maximum supervision and support from technology and information systems.

At the same time, the semi-structured interview protocol was also confirmed by experts. Questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 11.5 involving frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. At the same time, the interview data were analyzed and transcribed verbatim to identify the elements involved. The findings show that teachers understand and implement the necessary details in the teaching development process, but it is only moderately high. These elements can be seen through various techniques and strategies, taking into account the diversity of students' levels and abilities and the positive reinforcement that always occurs in the interaction of teachers and students. In conclusion, the implementation of teaching at the stage of teaching development is only at a moderately high level with incremental implications that require continuous development and improvement.
