Abstract

In the concept of Islamic education, there are several kinds ofideas that have been listed in an education. In Islam, it does not forget a history where the teachings derived from the knowledge come. Especially in the land of Java, there has been a long Demak kingdom has stood and proved by its historical relics. Whit the concept of Islamic education, no other Demak kingdom must have its idea of Islamic education in the upbringing ofIslamic in his time. This research was conducted quantitatively, the type of literature research. It will explore the literature related to Islamic education during the Demak kingdom by using the research model for the study of Islam history at the time of the Demak Kingdom, The aim of this study to see the model ofeducation that applied at that time can develop Islam rapidly which still no communication like today. Research of result is the method that used during the time of Demak kingdom was the lecture method, inserts, demonstrations and experiments and observational research using a cultural approach.

Abstract

The current study explores the experiences of working students, especially in higher learning institutions in coping with the challenges of working while studying. It is expected that the suggestions and recommendations from the study can improve working students’ experiences to be successful in both working and studying. This qualitative research investigates the experiences of working students at the International Islamic University Malaysia. Some working students were purposively chosen and interviewed to know the challenges they faced and how they overcome the problems. The findings of the current study show that the informants fully understood the concept of working while studying and considered it as a financial necessity and self-improvement. The informants exposed several challenges of working students such as time constraints and commitment to their studies. Despite the challenges, the informants considered working while studying as a motivation to further develop themselves and acquire necessary skills for better employment. This study is important as many college students are working while enrolled in higher education. They may experience time constraints managing the responsibilities of both student and worker. Thus, it is significant to understand their experiences that may affect the future of their academic studies. This study provides some implications and recommendations for working students to overcome the challenges. They include time management, commitment, discipline, and responsibility.

Abstract

One of the factors that play a role in the success of Madrasahs is the potential for female teachers, considering that the teacher profession is very much in demand by women. And the research locus that will be researched by the author, the majority of the teachers are women. Based on this background, the following problems can be raised: 1) The potential of female teachers in improving the existence of MI Ma'arifTabanan Bali for the 2020 academic year? and 2) What are the constraints and solutions for the coaching program for female teachers at MI Ma'arifTabanan? This study uses a qualitative research method, which by definition is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written words or words from people or observable sources. Sources of data or words in this study were obtained by the author through interviews with people who can be trusted. In this study the authors collected data through several informants including: 1. Head of Madrasah. 2. Management of the Ma'arif Education Institute. 3. Teachers. 4. Employees. 5. Madrasah Committee. Based on the explanation of the results of the research and discussion by the author, it can be concluded that female teachers have the potential to improve the existence of Madrasah IbtidaiyahSanggulanTabanan for the 2020 Academic Year. This is in accordance with the theoretical study which states that potential is an ability that has various possibilities or hopes for further development, either in the form of strength, power, or ability that is obtained by the community directly or through a long process.

Abstract

Data digitalization in the modernization era will make it easier for teachers and students to learn so that it will have an impact on learning achievement. the purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of digitizing school data with student achievement in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar, 2) the effect of teacher performance on student achievement in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar, 3) influence between digitizing data and teacher performance on achievement student learning at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar. This research uses correlational quantitative methods. The population used in this study was fifth grade students totaling 140 students, and the number of samples totaling 104 students using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques by observation, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique by testing the hypothesis is a product moment correlation technique and multiple correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is an influence between the digitalization of data with student learning achievement where t arithmetic> t table of 2.195> 1.983 significance level of 5%. (2) there is an influence between teacher performance with student achievement where t arithmetic> t table of 2.195> 1.983 significance level of 5%. (3) there is the effect of digitalized data and teacher performance with student learning achievement where the value of Fcount> Ftable is 5.648> 3.08 with a significance level of 5%. From these results it can be concluded there is an influence between: 1) digitalization of school data on student achievement in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar, 2) teacher performance on student achievement in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar, 3) Digitalization of school data and teacher performance together towards achievement student learning at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar.

Abstract

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and is obligatory for qualified Muslims. This study aims to make a virtual reality application for hajj simulation. This study uses descriptive analysis method.The result of this research is an application that consists of 6 features, namely: features (hajj series, hajj series guide, Arabic language, floor plans, frequently asked questions, instructions for use).The Free Hajj will learn how to perform the Hajj not just a theory but also presents ideas, practices and actual conditions. Like being directly in Mecca.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the role and implications of the principal in carrying out his role as a leader, supervisor and administrator in combating conflict in educational institutions. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of this research which is focused on SMA Muhamadiyah 2 Madiun are that as leaders, supervisors, and administrators have been going well. As for the supporting factors for the principal in carrying out his role, namely teachers, students, programs or plans, and curriculum, the inhibiting factors are discomfort in making decisions, facilities and infrastructure, teachers who do not have maximum scientific discipline, funding standards are still minimal, and the number of students who little influence on the financing standards of operational assistance funds received. Conflict resolution is carried out by the principal by means of deliberation and taking the middle way, advising, strengthening ties of friendship, compromising everything with various parties.

Abstract

Integrated Islamic Primary School (SDIT) Insan Madani Madiun has implemented online learning in the Even Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year to keep the learning going during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the learning process of tahsin and tahfidz during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive qualitative; indirect interviews carried out data collection due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study indicates that learning uses existing social media with a system, namely the provision of learning videos, then students make daily Tahsin and Tahfidz deposits via WhatsApp (WA). Some of the obstacles include consuming a lot of quotas and weak internet networks. The learning process still needs to be optimized, and it is necessary to evaluate the improvement of online learning in the next period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify contextual learning problems in schools and their application in the digital era, where children today tend to return to a perspective that children will learn better if the environment in which they study is a natural environment. This paper is the result of research that uses a logical phenomenon approach, the suggestions and recommendations of this study are expected to increase learning knowledge for both parents, teachers and students to succeed in improving learning outcomes. The method used is qualitative in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis, with semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and participant observation. The findings in this study are that contextual learning at Aisyiyah Fullday Pandes Wedi Elementary School, Klaten, Central Java is accompanied by textual understanding so that there is a student activation process (acquiring knowledge), so students will understand the material optimally.

Abstract

Madrasah is an alternative educational institution and has the same opportunity to become an educational institution taken into account in social change dynamics. However, as a logical consequence, madrasas must develop each sector to achieve its organizational goals. This study examines the opportunities and challenges of developing madrasas, particularly those based on an Islamic boarding school. This study is a literature study, so that the method of analyzing data is by reviewing and collecting information from various references, both books and scientific articles, which are used as a material in studying and adding conceptual insights related to the opportunities and challenges of developing Islamic boarding school-based madrasas in the modern era. The literature review results show that in developing the education system into a preeminent institution and maintaining its existence, madrasas in Islamic boarding school are required to be open and accommodate the community's aspirations and demands. Madrasah needs to develop themselves to become high quality and superior madrasas and a bridge that connects with the national education system, especially those related to students' moral and personality development. This is understandable because the community hopes that educational institutions in Islamic boarding school are religious experts, have morals, and have future skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the evaluation of the Home Visit Program as a reinforcement of character education in SMK (Vocational School). This study uses a qualitative method with CIPP model. The subjects of this study were taken from the Guidance dan Counseling coordinator, students, and school principal in SMK. Data collection techniques used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The method of observation in this study used a participatory method. Data analyze used data reduction, data presentation, drawing data conclusions. The results show that: (1) in terms of context ,only three components were applied, and one was not implemented optimally. The components are background, specific goals, and program development (2) in terms of input, it is quite good, consisting of the target components of the program, the elements involved, and the role of the teachers (3) in terms of process, that of the five components, and only three are of good value. While the other two are of less value. The components which include material, methods, obstacles, and how evaluates the system evaluates to develop character values are quite well. While the method of implementing programs and efforts to develop character values are less good (4) in terms of product, the two components are good enough. The components consist of program achievements and program evaluations.
