Abstract

This study aims to develop an implementation handbook for Islamic education quality management based on Total Quality Management (TQM) that is valid, practical, and effective at SD Tahfidz Istiqomah, Agam Regency. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The analysis stage was conducted through semi-structured interviews to identify the needs and problems related to educational quality management at the school. The developed product was an implementation handbook containing the concepts of Islamic education quality management, TQM principles, implementation procedures, quality indicators, and monitoring and evaluation instruments. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Product validity was assessed by experts using Aiken’s V index, while practicality and effectiveness were measured through user response questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The findings revealed that the developed handbook achieved an average Aiken’s V score of 0.90, categorized as highly valid. The effectiveness test showed a percentage score of 80% from the principal, categorized as effective, and 80.97% from teachers, categorized as highly effective. The developed product was considered capable of assisting schools in understanding, planning, and implementing Islamic education quality management systems in a more systematic and sustainable manner. This study contributes to the development of a contextual and applicable TQM-based Islamic education quality management implementation model for tahfidz-based schools.

Abstract

Sapna, 2026. This study investigates the effectiveness of the Wordwall online game application in improving English vocabulary mastery among 11th-grade students in class TKJ A at SMKN 2 Palopo. The problem identified is that students generally struggle with vocabulary mastery, which affects their overall English language skills including speaking, writing, and reading. This research employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. The population consisted of 19 students in class XI TKJ A at SMKN 2 Palopo, with all students used as the research sample through total sampling technique. The research instrument used was a multiple-choice vocabulary test, and data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant increase in mean scores from 50.74 in the pre-test to 74.74 in the post-test. The t-count value (t₀ = 5.871) exceeded the t-table value (tₜ = 2.101) at a significance level of 0.05 with 18 degrees of freedom. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. These findings confirm that the use of Wordwall online games is effective in improving ESP (English for Specific Purposes) vocabulary mastery of students at SMKN 2 Palopo.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of social media, particularly the TikTok application, which is widely used by teenagers, including madrasah students. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) content available on TikTok has the potential to become an alternative learning medium that can increase students' interest in performing worship, especially prayer. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education content on TikTok in increasing students' interest in performing prayers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah An-Nizham Telanaipura, Jambi City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research results show that the content of Islamic Religious Education material on TikTok plays a role in increasing students' interest in performing prayers. Content presented in a brief, engaging, and easily understandable manner can provide new insights into the importance of prayer and motivate students to be more disciplined in performing their worship. In addition, the use of social media as a means of conveying religious messages is considered closer to students' daily lives, making it easier to accept and understand. Thus, it can be concluded that the TikTok platform can be one of the supporting media in fostering awareness and interest in prayer among students.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has a significant impact on the learning process in schools. The use of technology in learning allows teachers to deliver materials in a more interesting and interactive manner, thereby increasing student motivation and understanding. However, learning in the Computer Network and Telecommunication Engineering (TJKT) subject at SMKN 1 Simpang Alahan Mati is still dominated by conventional methods, resulting in relatively low student engagement. This study aims to develop interactive learning media using Adobe Animate on network planning and addressing materials. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 19 grade XI TJKT students, two media validators, two material validators, and two subject teachers. The research instrument was a validity and practicality questionnaire. The data analysis technique used percentage analysis. The results showed that the developed learning media had a media validity level of 94.01% with a very valid category and material validity of 85.71%. Furthermore, the practicality results showed a score of 94.38%, categorized as very practical by teachers, and 86.42%, categorized as practical by students. The findings of this study indicate that Adobe Animate-based interactive learning media is suitable as an alternative learning medium to increase student motivation and understanding of network planning and addressing.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this study was: “Can the multiplication calculation skills of third-grade students at SDN 56 Kota Timur be improved through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by multiplication board media?” This study aimed to improve students’ multiplication calculation skills through the application of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by multiplication board media among third-grade students at SDN 56 Kota Timur. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The findings involving 19 students indicated that in Cycle I, 11 students achieved the learning mastery criteria, representing 58% of the total participants. This result had not yet met the predetermined performance indicator target of 80%; therefore, the study was continued to Cycle II. In Cycle II, 16 students successfully achieved the learning mastery criteria, accounting for 84% of the participants, thereby fulfilling the established performance indicator target. Based on the results and discussion conducted in each cycle, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by multiplication board media was effective in improving the multiplication calculation skills of third-grade students at SDN 56 Kota Timur.

Abstract

This study examines how the Adiwiyata program contributes to the development of environmental‑care character among students at SMP Negeri 2 Kesamben, Jombang. The research addresses declining ecological awareness among youth and investigates whether school‑based environmental policies, curriculum integration, participatory activities, and environmentally friendly facilities effectively foster attitudes and behaviors such as responsibility, discipline, waste management, and creative waste utilization. These character-building activities are also integrated with Islamic values emphasizing cleanliness, responsibility, stewardship of nature, and moral habituation in students’ daily school life. A qualitative case study design was employed, using semi‑structured interviews with key informants, participant observation of school practices (e.g., piket, waste sorting, tree planting, and “Jumat Bersih”), and document analysis to capture the four core components of Adiwiyata. Findings indicate that systematic habituation, teacher role modeling, and curricular integration significantly enhance students’ environmental care, while limitations in facilities, inconsistent staff commitment, and constrained instructional time hinder program sustainability. The study recommends strengthening institutional policies, improving waste‑management infrastructure, providing ongoing teacher training, and instituting regular monitoring and evaluation to sustain behavioral change. Results suggest that a coordinated combination of policy, pedagogy, and practice can make Adiwiyata a replicable model for character education grounded in environmental stewardship.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the determinants of differences in geography learning activity in grades E1 and E5 at SMAN 11 Padang. The research method used is comparative qualitative. Informants in this study consisted of 10 people, namely 9 students and 1 geography teacher. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity test used was the triangulation technique, then analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that: 1) E1 was more active in discussions and questions and answers, while E5 tended to be passive except when learning outside the classroom or using interactive media. 2) There was a significant difference, E1 was more active and confident in conventional methods, while E5 was hampered by shame and fear of making mistakes. 3) Differences in activity were determined by internal factors (understanding of the material, self-confidence, physical condition) and external factors (teacher strategies, teacher responses, social environmental support, and facilities).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integrated Citizen Relationship Management (CRM) complaint system in improving public services in the Province of DKI Jakarta. The research was motivated by the increasing need for digital-based public services as part of smart governance implementation through Jakarta Smart City. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis used George C. Edward III’s policy implementation theory, which consists of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings indicate that the implementation of CRM in DKI Jakarta has generally been carried out effectively through the integration of various complaint channels such as the JAKI application, social media, and direct service channels. The system has contributed to improving transparency, responsiveness, and public participation in public service delivery. However, several obstacles remain, including limited human resource capacity, unequal digital literacy among citizens, technical system disruptions, and sectoral ego between government agencies that hinder coordination. Supporting factors include visionary leadership, clear bureaucratic structures, inter-agency communication, and the utilization of information technology. Therefore, strengthening coordination, improving digital infrastructure, and enhancing the capacity of human resources are necessary to optimize the effectiveness of the CRM system in public service delivery in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teaching materials used at SMAN 1 Bayang in mathematics learning that have not met the needs of students. This study aims to develop a valid and practical E-Module assisted by flipHTML5 on the composition of functions and inverse functions for class XI SMAN 1 Bayang. This type of research is R & D (Research & Development) development research. The development model used is the Plomp development model. In this study, the stages carried out were only at the preliminary research and prototyping phase stages which included validity and practicality tests. Data analysis techniques used were analysis of student characteristics, ATP analysis, analysis of printed books, analysis of interviews with educators and students, analysis of validity results and analysis of practicality results. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was obtained that the developed E-Module obtained a validity result of 86.03% by the validator with a very valid category. The final practicality score for educators was 72.50%, categorized as practical, the final practicality score for students in the one-on-one evaluation was 82.96%, categorized as very practical, and the final practicality score for students in the small group evaluation was 88.89%, categorized as very practical. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the flipHTML5-assisted E-Module on the composition of functions and inverse functions for class XI of SMAN 1 Bayang is declared valid and practical for use by educators and students in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and resilience among parents of children with special needs. Parents of children with special needs often experience complex caregiving demands involving emotional, social, economic, and educational challenges. In such conditions, resilience becomes an essential psychological capacity that enables parents to adapt positively and maintain effective caregiving roles. Social support is considered an external protective factor that strengthens resilience through emotional assistance, practical help, information, and a sense of belonging. This study employed a quantitative correlational design involving 49 parents of children with special needs. Data were collected using Likert-type scales measuring social support and resilience. The data were analyzed using validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with SPSS version 29. The results indicated that all items were valid and reliable. The data were normally distributed, the relationship between variables was linear, and no heteroscedasticity was found. The regression analysis showed a coefficient of 0.732 with a significance value of < 0.001. The R value was 0.717, and the R Square value was 0.514, indicating that social support explained 51.4% of the variance in resilience. Therefore, social support has a positive and significant relationship with resilience among parents of children with special needs. Higher perceived social support is associated with higher parental resilience.
