Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of back kick ability through the Circuit Training method in fighting athletes of Kurata second degree Tarung Derajat in Siginjai Museum training unit. The method used in this study is the Sports Action Research method which was conducted on 14 athletes, with the sampling technique based on CAR (classroom action research) in sports.The implementation of this research was carried out for 2 months with a frequency of training 3 times a week or 36 meetings. In the meeting, circuit training was given at each meeting to improve the ability of back kicks. Data analysis was carried out by means of data exposure and data reduction.Based on the table description of the results of the initial test of the first cycle of back kick ability, it can be seen that the kick ability of the athletes of Kurata second degree Tarung Derajat in the Siginjai museum training unit is still relatively low. It can be seen from the 14 athletes who were the subjects in this study, it turned out that only 9 athletes (64%) had complete results, while the remaining 5 athletes (36%) did not have complete training results than the expected 70% in cycle II action.In the results of the second cycle test, it can be seen an increase in back kick ability. It can be seen from the 14 athletes who were the research subjects that there were 13 athletes (98.2%) who achieved graduation. Meanwhile, only 1 athlete (7.1%). Judging from these results, it can be concluded that the Circuit Training method can improve the ability of back kicks in athletes of Kurata second degree Tarung Derajat in siginjai museum training unit.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the development of teaching materials for motion learning based on android applications. ADDIE is a research model that researchers choose, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the research as a whole are feasible by material experts and media experts on the components of content, language presentation, and graphics, it is obtained that an average percentage of 81.5% has very high criteria. Based on the overall assessment of the ease of using the product, the difficulty of understanding the material, and the difficulty of doing the questions, the average percentage is 84% in the very feasible category. The development of teaching materials for the development of motion learning development based on android applications is the result of this research. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the product developed is considered very feasible.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the design of speed, agility, quickness exercises to improve the physical fitness of students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The sample of this study was male students at the Sport Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, with some 40 people, purposive sampling was used to determine the sample. This research method uses quasi-experimental research. Data analysis techniques use the constellation one group pretest_posttest design. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, descriptive analysis is used to describe the results of this study while inferential analysis uses paired sample tests at a significant level ? =0.05 analysis used with the help of SPSS version 20.0. The results of this study can be concluded.    Speed, Agility and Quickness  (SAQ) training models namely:(1)"A" Mark Walk, (2) 20-Yard Shuttle, (3) MB Wall Chest Passes,   (4) Vertical Jump, (5) Skip For Distance, (6) partner-Resisted Stars, (7) MB Over Head Throw, (8) Standing long Jump, (9) Skip For Height, (10) T-Drill, (11) Bullet Belt, (12) Squrium, (13) Hexagon Drill, (14) Quik Feet,  (15) X-pattern Multiskill, (16) Hop-Scotch Drill, (17) Z-pattern Ceuts, (18)One-Leg Hop, with a new concept designed according to the needs of Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) training. The SAQ exercise design consisted of (1) cardiorespiratory endurance training; (2) muscle strength and endurance for the upper body, abdomen and lower body; (3) flexibility exercises both dynamic and static; (4) cardiorespiratory endurance activity; (5) endurance and muscle strength activities and (6) forms of flexibility activity.

Abstract

To some extent, the development of sport is influenced by the process of cultural formation. For this reason, it is necessary to explore the potential of culture-based sports by sports experts by paying attention to cultural aspects that allow their potential to be explored and in the end it is expected to produce reliable athletes. However, until now there is almost no research that specifically explores the potential of this culture-based sport. Therefore, this study aims to map the potential of sports that allow for breeding and coaching. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach, with the Naturalistic Inquiry paradigm. Data was collected through interviews, observations and document studies. Source of data for sports management, athletes and documents. The results showed: that 1). Water sports such as diving, rowing, and diving, especially in pool numbers, have the potential to be developed. 2). To be able to develop water sports properly, it is necessary to breed prospective athletes by taking into account the cultural background. 3) The need for continuous management and coaching. The research data is used as study material for local governments and stakeholders in the field of sports to be able to explore the potential of sports that allow them to achieve achievements both at the national and international levels.

Abstract

At the 2018 West Java Regional Sports Week, there were 1,822 athletes, mechanics, managers and officials involved. Researchers here review and conduct surveys and interviews with athletes and Koni West Java regarding the awards given to student athletes. Athlete career development is manifested in the form of educational scholarships for athletes within the Bandung City KONI from 2019 -2021, with the following percentages in 2019 of 33%, in 2020 33%, and in 2021 as much as 34% of the total scholarship budget that has been issued since 2019-2021 years. Scholarship recipients within the KONI Bandung City are tiered starting from the Middle School, Undergraduate, and Masters programs, through this student athlete program it is hoped that athletes will get decent jobs, so that after athletes retire from the world of sports they will get welfare in retirement.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine needs of Master Program of Physical Education, Singaperbangsa Karawang University. This research method is descriptive with a survey using a questionnaire. This research was carried out in 2020, the research sample was students and alumni of PJKR Unsika. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis, and bivariate using the SPPS application. Univariate analysis was performed on each variable to determine the proportion of each questionnaire. Bivariate analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between Respondent Factors and Study Program Factors on the Needs of the Masters Program in Physical Education at Singaperbangsa University. The results of the bivariate data analysis of the respondents' factors were significant, namely because sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 p < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the study program factors and the needs of the Master of Physical Education Program, so many Once alumni who are already working as teachers and not working in the world of education have the desire to continue their education in the Master Program in Physical Education at the University of Singaperbangsa, while for the study program factor, the significant factor is because sig.(2 tailed) = 0.000, p < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the study program factors and needs of Master Program in Physical Education at the University of Singaperbangsa so that the University of Singapore is eligible to open a Master Program in Physical Education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results ofDevelopment Life Skills Through School Sports Activities. The research method used is development research from Borg and Gall which has been varied, namely (1) conducting preliminary studies, (2) model development plans, (3) initial model development, (4) revision of validation results (5) field trials small group, (6) revision of trial results (final product). The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire to measure life skills, namely thetest or LSSS Life Skills Scale for Sport(Life Skills Scale for Sport) made by Cronin & Allen (2017), which was then adapted by researchers according to research needs. The data analysis of this study used a quantitative method with descriptive statistics with assistance (SPSS). The results of the explanation above are expected to develop life skills that will help students in their daily lives, be able to have life skills to maintain positive relationships both for individuals and with others and be able to overcome any problems that come up properly and effectively through sports activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of sports human resources in the city of Samarinda in terms of the Sports Development Index (SDI). The research was conducted in 10 sub-districts in Samarinda City, taking data from 3 institutions as the scope of research, namely the Department of Education, KONI/DISPORA Samarinda, and other Non-Formal Institutions. Research methods use a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach in terms of SDI. The research instruments used are observation, interview, and analysis of documents. The results of this study indicate; The sports HR Index at the Education Department 0.5009 falls into the middle category, the KONI/DISPORA sports HR Index of 0.2907 in the low category, and the Non-Formal Institution’s sports HR Index 0.0736 is a low category. Overall, the Sports HR Index in 10 sub-districts in Samarinda City of 0.00086 is low.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Analysis of volleyball extracurricular development in junior high schools in Bengkulu city. The type of research used is qualitative with the design of this research is a survey approach. The research subjects, namely coaches, trainers and students at the State Junior High Schools in Bengkulu City which were accredited A totaled 15 schools. The object of this research is volleyball extracurricular at State Junior High Schools in Bengkulu City. The data analysis technique in the field uses the Miles and Huberman model in the form of data reduction, data display, and the last one is drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this study indicate that 15 State Junior High Schools (SMP) in Bengkulu City which consist of 15 coaches, 15 coaches, and 15 students regarding the analysis of volleyball extracurricular coaching at State Junior High Schools in Bengkulu City, it is known that the overall results of the coaching extracurricular activities carried out by the coaches were in the very good category (85.67%) then the trainers were in the good category (76.33%) and the students were in the good category (75.33%). In general, it can be concluded that of the 15 State Junior High Schools in Bengkulu City, it is (79.11%) in the good category..

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop the volleyball game drill smash learning technique for the students of Universitas Sriwijaya Phisical education. This study uses a mixed approach, Research and Development research methods. This study uses observation instruments and questionnaires as a means of collecting data. The research steps consisted of needs analysis, product draft planning, expert validation, small-scale trials, product revisions, large-scale trials and revisions. This study used 3 validation experts, namely Physical Education experts, volleyball game experts and linguists, with the small-scale test subjects of 24 UNSRI Physical Education students, and 105 students for large-scale trials. The research resulted in 12 drill smash learning techniques that were declared valid from 3 experts, namely with an average of 82.3%, small-scale trials obtained an average result of 88.9% of students who could use this development technique and get 95.54% results and not There are significant prohibitions in large-scale trials so that this learning development technique is suitable for use in volleyball smash learning. The development of 12 volleyball drill smash learning techniques that can be used for Physical Education students, especially the volleyball game smash material and can be used by teachers as an added reference in teaching volleyball games are the findings of this study.
