Abstract

High levels of phosphate in waters, the majority of which comes from domestic liquid waste containing detergents. To overcome pollution arising from domestic liquid wastewater, wastewater treatment is absolutely necessary. The urgency of this research is very important in that an environmental mitigation engineering system is sought, so that it can reduce or even eliminate these pollutants if possible. The waste processing technique using plants is known as phytoremediation. Phytoremediation using water hyacinth plants. The analytical method in this study used a completely randomized design (RAL) where each treatment was repeated three times with an additive linear model for a two-factor factorial design with an environmental design in the form of RAL which was analyzed using the SPSS program. If the results of the analysis of variance show an F-count value > Ftable 0.5, a further test is carried out using the Tukey further test (honest significant difference). The results of this research were that the pH value was 6.9, close to the normal pH of water, and the temperature was around 26-25 0C. The BOD level decreased further over 7 days. Phosphate levels also experienced changes in concentration levels which decreased on day 7. The TSS value increased greatly. The TSS value greatly increased the yield and the color changed to cloudy brown.

Abstract

By conducting an analysis of the influence of solar radiation temperature on the output power of a 150 Wp Pematangsiantar solar cell whose energy source comes from renewable energy, which is the sun, it is hoped to help the community's maximum needs by obtaining it directly from solar energy, in addition to being cheap, the use of solar energy has never exhausted, the maintenance cost of Solarcell is also very reasonable and not least it does not produce pollution that can damage the environment. This research aims to find out the performance of a 150 Wp solar panel in producing electricity in the form of current, voltage and power to charge a battery with a capacity of 12 V 7 Ah. Research data collection was carried out at 08.00 WIB - 17.00 WIB. The test to determine the current, voltage and power in this study uses several components, namely a 150 Wp solar panel, solar charger controller, battery, voltmeter and ammeter Testing of a 150 Wp solar panel as an alternative energy source and data taken every hour for 9 hours. The magnitude of the current and voltage from the solar panel can be read directly. Each solar panel has a different level of efficiency. In general, solar panels on private residential solar systems have a standard temperature of 25°C (77°F), with a general temperature range between 15°C and 35°C. It is in this temperature range that solar panels perform best. The limit point for solar panel efficiency is 65°C (149°F). Above this temperature, the performance efficiency of the solar system can be disrupted due to the drop in voltage produced.

Abstract

Ethnophysics is part of ethnoscience which studies and presents the relationship between physical knowledge and culture. The knowledge of physics regarding the matter of force and heat is a complex material and is widely applied in everyday life. However, some students do not like physics subjects, especially in the material of force and heat because there are many physics equations that make students bored to memorize. Therefore it is necessary to have a strategy for presenting physics material so that it is comfortable and liked by students. One of them is by being connected to the local culture. This study aimed to explore the making of Langkat pottery as a local wisdom in North Sumatra which can be used as a medium for learning physics. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained were then analyzed, verified, and reduced then constructed into scientific knowledge and interpreted into physics concepts in class X high school physics learning. The results showed that the process of making Langkat pottery could be used as a medium for learning physics on force and heat.
