Abstract

Learning in the 2013 curriculum uses a thematic approach that integrates several content lessons in a theme and sub-theme (except for high classes, for separate Mathematics and PJOK content). The implementation of thematic learning at elementary school level is due to the characteristics and mindset of students that are holistic and concrete operational. The thematic learning process places more emphasis on students' thinking abilities in analyzing a problem, not just being able to answer right and wrong. This is very related to HOTS (Higher of Order Thinking Skills) based learning which emphasizes high-level thinking skills. SD Muhammadiyah 5 Batu is one of the elementary schools that has implemented a 2013 curriculum that applies a thematic approach. Based on the results of interviews with the Principal it was found that SD Muhammadiyah had conducted workshops and assisted in the preparation of HOTS-based thematic learning tools. The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning, implementation, assessment of HOTS learning, as well as the relationship between planning, implementation, and assessment in a good learning.

Abstract

The development of the curriculum as a scientific discipline today is growing very rapidly, both terrorist and practical. If in the past the traditional curriculum was more focused on subjects with a pouring system, now the curriculum is more oriented to new dimensions, such as life skills, self-development, economic and industrial development, globalization era with various problems, politics, even in practice it has touched the technological dimension especially information and communication technology. The role of the curriculum system is very important because there are two important reasons. First, the curriculum as a tool to achieve educational goals, therefore the curriculum must really exist. Second, the curriculum is basically the science of the nation's educational process so that it is meaningful for its life, both as individuals, family members, community members, and disciplines that must be studied by people involved in education, especially those who are prospective teachers or have become teachers.

Abstract

Technological progress is inseparable from the success of an education. In the process of learning technology it is important to be integrated in teaching materials. However, while still supporting schools that do not have teaching materials using technology. Therefore, development research is carried out that makes teaching materials by utilizing technology that develops electronic modules. This type of research is a research development developed by Sugiyono. The trial was conducted by giving questionnaires to 21 students of Sridadi 55 / I public elementary schools. Based on the results of research and development figures obtained 85.6% with the category "Good" on the motivation of students in using electronic modules in the learning process

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran pada DIII Teknik Mesin khususnya pada matakuliah Matematika terapan 2 diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran menarik dan dapat memberikan peningkatan pada prestasi mahasiswa khususya pada pemecahan masalah. Model pembelajaran Berbantuan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Android diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi kepada mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan daya tarik dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini mengoptimalisasi model pembelajaran Berbantuan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Android. Pada proses penelitian yang telah berlangsung maka diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : (1) Penggunakan model pengembangan 3-D (modifikasi dari 4-D) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika terapan 2 dengan bantuan Aplikasi Android, dimana perangkat yang terdiri dari RPS, RPP dan Aplikasi Android. Perangkat pembelajaran yang melalui proses validasi dan dinyatakan valid oleh pakar dibidangnya, maka perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan dengan Aplikasi Android dalam penelitian ini menjadi valid, (2) Penggunaan Aplikasi Android pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kemampuannya pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah dibandingkan dengan proses pembelaran dikelas dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the development of PAI learning through a contextual teaching and learning approach. Effective learning is learning that is able to create an atmosphere that is fun and not boring, provides experience and the real world in learning and uses a variety of learning resources. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The data analysis technique uses content analysis. The results of the study show that the contextual teaching and learning approach is very suitable to be applied in Islamic Religious Education learning in schools, because this approach applies the students' development, skills, experience and contextual understanding of the relationship of subjects with the real world in everyday life. In practice, Islamic Religious Education teachers must pay attention to every component in the contextual teaching and learning approach.

Abstract

AbstrakBahan Ajar merupakan sumber bagi guru dalam mengajar dan bagi siswa untuk belajar sehingga sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua hal, 1) Mendeskripsikan proses belajar mengajar bahasa Inggris untuk siswa autisme di Sekolah Khusus Cahaya Bangsa Pontianak, 2) Mengembangkan bahan untuk mendorong siswa untuk lebih terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan satu set bahan belajar-mengajar bahasa Inggris yang cocok bagi siswa autismee.Peneliti menyadari karakteristik khusus siswa dengan autisme, beberapa langkah harus diambil sebelum peneliti mengembangkan bahan ajar. Pertama langkah yang diambil adalah untuk meninjau silabus, dalam tahap ini peneliti mengevaluasi bagian mana silabus harus dikembangkan. Silabus yang direview oleh peneliti akan diproses ke langkah yang kedua, dilangkah kedua peneliti membuat rencana pelajaran yang bertujuan untuk membantu guru dalam melakukan kegiatan pengelolaan kelas. Langkah ketiga adalah mengintegrasikan kebutuhan siswa dengan desain bahan ajar. Hasil integrasi bahan ajar kemudian dapat mendorong keterlibatan siswa.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keterlibatan dan konsentrasi para siswa autisme dalam berinteraksi dengan berbagai materi pelajaran yang disajikan. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari bahan ajar multimedia yang dibuat oleh peneliti mengandung kegiatan secara fisik dan kelompok. Kedua kegiatan tersebut merupakan peranan yang penting bagi siswa untuk terlibat secara aktif dan efektif dalam menjalin komunikasi. Dalam hal ini para siswa dapat menyampaikan ide-ide didalam kelompok ketika diberikan tugas dan secara alami para siswa melakukan kegiatan secara fisik lebih aktif.Kata Kunci: Autisme, Bahasa Inggris, Bahan Ajar

Abstract

The science that studies nature and its processes are called Science. When learning about Science, the laboratory has an essential role in growing students' experimentation abilities and increasing students' enthusiasm for learning. This study aims to describe and determine the effectiveness of the use of laboratories in science learning at SMPN 2 Lumajang. This study uses an approach with the interview method. This research was carried out at SMPN 2 Lumajang, which involved subject science teachers at the SMPN. The results showed that the science laboratory at SMPN 2 Lumajang had two rooms: a laboratory room and a storage room. Judging from the aspect of the laboratory space, the science laboratory of SMPN 2 Lumajang still needs to be improved a bit, such as a space to store tools and materials, and there is no preparation room to make preparations before the practicum begins. The existing facilities and infrastructure influence the effectiveness of the use of laboratories in the learning process. With complete facilities and infrastructure, student learning activities in observations will run smoothly.

Abstract

The temporary closure of schools around the world to limit the spread of the COVID-19 has induced a new challenge for parents. Particularly, for those working remotely, making sure the children follow the learning schedule given by the school and keeping them occupied at home until bedtime is no obvious duty to make efforts to boost their enthusiasm. Therefore, one strategy proposed to motivate children's learning at home is to gamify their learning activities. Numerous studies have been published on the use of various digital platforms in gamification research, however, gamified systems in a non-technology environment or non-digital platform have been inadequately discussed and investigated by scholars. Thus, in this study, we will present a concise discussion on how gamified activities can be utilized in a non-tech environment. This conceptual paper employing a systematic literature review in collecting and analyzing the data. Through a review of the current empirical and conceptual literature, this study presents a new conceptual framework of the gamification concept in a non-technology environment. The study recommends that applying game-based elements or mechanics to motivate and engage children's learning can be carried out anywhere and anytime for any grade level, without waiting for high-tech supports.

Abstract

Kurikulum di Indonesia selalu berkembang dan diperbaharui sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan tantangan pendidikan nasional. Kurikulum 2013 (K13) merupakan kurikulum penyempurnaan dari  Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) di tahun 2006 yang mengalami penyempurnaan pada standar kompetensi lulusan, isi, proses, dan penilaian. Pada Kurikulum 2013 dikenal beberapa ciri khas yaitu, pembelajaran tematik integratif, pendekatan saintifik, dan penilaian autentik. Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) dimulai pada sekolah yang memiliki akreditasi “A”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah, (1) menjelaskan penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di SDSN Kalibata 11 Pagi dan (2) menjelaskan implikasi dari penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di SDSN Kalibata 11 Pagi dimana implikasi tersebut difokuskan dalam tiga aspek yaitu pelaksanaan: tematik integratif, pendekatan saintifik, dan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan K13 di SDSN Kalibata 11 Pagi telah berjalan dengan baik terutama pada aspek penguatan pendidikan karakter di seluruh jenjang kelas baik kelas rendah maupun kelas tinggi. Implikasi dari penerapan K13 melalui pelaksanaan tematik integratif, pendekatan saintifik, dan penilaian autentik adalah, (1) meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun administrasi pembelajaran (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran bermakna, (2) meningkatnya keaktifan dan semangat belajar siswa sehingga hasil belajar meningkat dan karakter positif siswa semakin kuat.

Abstract

Madrasah is Islamic educational institutions that are present in order to respond to the demands of the times. Since its establishment until now it has undergone a transformation, both in content and form. The development of positive characteristics, traditions and local wisdom (local power) continues through amputation, minimization and assimilation. This is inseparable from the principle that continues to be grasped, which is maintaining good old wisdom and taking or even creating new innovations that are relevant for progress. There is a polarization of education in Indonesia, between pesantren and public schools. Pesantren is the oldest Islamic education in Indonesia which until the 60s only focused on organizing religious education, in this case, mastery of the yellow book. Islamic boarding school is a model of traditional education that is firmly rooted in community traditions. At that time, pesantren were often considered unable to respond to the progress and demands of the times. On the other hand, there is general education (read: school) which focuses on non-religious subjects, religious studies are only around 2 hours a week. This fact gives the impression that public education (school) is a secular Dutch Indies heritage. In fact, many of the Muslim children who take general education. This has resulted in schools seen as unable to provide a balanced portion of faith and piety as well as science and technology.
