Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil telaah dan analisis teoritis atas pemikiran salah satu tokoh Pendidikan Indonesia, Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Di tengah keringnya pelaksanaan praksis pendidikan dari ruh landasan filosofis, pemikiran-pemikiran beliau yang sangat mendasar, mendalam, dan visioner tentang pendidikan khususnya dalam konteks budaya Indonesia, dirasa masih sangat relevan untuk dikaji lebih jauh, sehingga dapat dipahami, diinternaslisasi kemudian dijadikan sebagai landasan filosofis pelaksanaan praksis pendidikan di Indonesia. Pemikiran-pemikiran tersebut lahir dan diramu dalam konteks kebudayaan bangsa Indonesia yang khas. Pada tulisan ini akan dibahas beberapa hal antara lain tentanng: 1) Pandangan dasar tentang jiwa anak sebagai peserta didik, 2) Fungsi, tujuan pendidikan serta Bagaimana seharusnya pendidikan yang tidak menyalahi kodrat jiwa anak, 3) Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dalam Pandangan Pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Melalui tulisan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan tambahan wacana dan sudut pandang pembahasan tentang filsafat pendidikan, serta dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif kajian filosofis pendidikan di Indonesia, diantara banyaknya referensi-referensi yang berasal dari pemikiran para tokoh pendidikan dari luar negeri yang tentunya perlu adaptasi dan modifikasi jika ingin dijadikan sebagai dasar pijakan praksis pendidikan di Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of science playing on the development of mathematical logic intelligence in early childhood. This research is a type of experimental research using nonquivalent control group design. This research was conducted at TK Islam Insan Kamil Tuban with research subject of 40 children divided into control group and experiment group. The research data was collected by observation and documentation technique. Data analysis using ANOVA test or F test.  The results showed that the science playing has an effect on the development of the mathematical logic intelligence of children. This is evidenced by the difference of mathematical logic result between experimental group that is equal to 70% and control group equal to 58,75%. Furthermore, it is recommended for teachers and institutions of early childhood to apply science play activities as an alternative of learning activities to stimulate the mathematical logic intelligence of children.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a very important element. This paper aims to elaborate the principles of early childhood education based on naqliyah and aqliyah arguments as well as the nature of early childhood education in the Islamic perspectives. In addition, this paper also explains the conceptual theoretical studies of curriculum or content of Islamic education for early childhood, as well as methods that could be applied and developed in the implementation of early childhood education.

Abstract

The purpose in This Quasi Experimental Design design research to prove whether kokoru media has an effect on the fine motor skills of group B children in TK Muslimat Nurul Huda. The study population  were children B group of TK Muslimat Nurul Huda with sample of 20 children in group B1 and 20 children  in group B2. Technique of collecting data using observation and documentation methods. Test data analysis using Mann Whitney U test with the formula Ucount<Utable (α=0,05). From the data processing then obtained Ucount =22 dan Utable 114, it indicated that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Based on the above test it can be concluded that kokoru media have an effect on the fine motor skills of group B children in TK Muslimat Nurul Huda

Abstract

This qualitative case study aimed to develop the functional reading and writing skills of mild mentally retarded children through whole word approach and VAKT strategy. The subject in this study was selected through the procedures of subject determination in qualitative research proposed by Sarantakos (1993, in Poerwandari 2005), namely: 1) not directed to the large number of participants but in typical cases according to the specificity of the research problem, 2) not directed to representation in terms of numbers or random events, but to context matches. Based on the above explanation, the researcher then determined the general criteria of the subjects / participants of the study as follows: 1) Subjects were children aged between 6-8 years old who were in kindergarten (group B) or elementary school (first grade or second grade), 2) subjects were children with mild mental retardation who have difficulty in developing functional reading and writing skills. Methods of data collection in this study were conducted through observation, interviews, and informal assessments, as well as documentation of field notes during data mining. Data analysis was performed by comparing the initial condition of the subject before stimulation implemented with the final condition of the subject after the stimulation completed. The results of data analysis indicated that the whole-word approach and VAKT strategy can be applied to develop the early functional reading and writing skills in children with mild mental retardation

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the implementation of group guidance and social adjustment level of grade 1 students of SDN Kedondong 01, (2) know the effectiveness of group guidance with traditional games to improve students' social adjustment. This is a quantitative research using pre-test post-test one group design. The data analysis technique used is Wilcoxon's Signed Rank Test which belongs to non parametric statistic. Based on the significant level 5% and N = 8 data analysis showed difference of scores between before and after implementing group guidance with traditional games technique. The result of field test shows that the group guidance model with traditional learning technique is effective to improve social adjustment of grade I students of SDN Kedondong 01. This is indicated by the change of social adjustment level of students before and after the implementation. that is an increase of 19%. Therefore it could be suggested to the counselor in elementary school to improve the utilization of traditional games in the implementation of group guidance as such a legacy to the scientific development.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to test the effectiveness of using group guidance service with learn to behave game to increase the children’s creativity. This research was conducted by pre-test post-test one group design. The subject of this research were 14 children’s TK A Ma’arif Payaman. Data analysis technique used in this research was Wilcoxon’s signed rank test. It was found that there was a significant difference between the ability of self adjustment at school score before and after treatment. Based on the Wilcoxon test it was found that T count = 0, N = 14 with 0,01 significant level so T table = 0,05. It means T count < T table (0<0,05). So hypothesis of this research was accepted. It can be concluded that group guidance service with learn to behave game was an effective approach to to increase the children’s activity

Abstract

One of the external factors that affect the child's interest in learning is the assignment of homework or homework. According to Muijs, et al (2008: 150) "Homework can be defined as an out-of-class activity that is an extension of classroom work". The purpose of this study to determine the effect of methods of assignment to the interests of learning children. To answer the above problems, researchers conducted a quantitative descriptive study. This research was conducted in Group B TK Dharmawanita Gedangan Mojokerto academic year 2016/2017. Subjects in the study amounted to 20 children. Technique of data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. Observations before the recapitulation treatment were obtained on average, ie 0% of children in the Very High (ST) category, 3.33% of children in the High (T) category, 13.33% of children in Medium (S) category, and 83.33% of children in the Low category (R), on the observation aspect of child's interest, Child's attention in learning and child involvement. Observations after treatment were obtained an average of 35.28% of children belonging to the category Very High (ST), Next to the category High (T) obtained an average of 17.61%. In the Medium category (S), the mean is 20.28%, and for the Low category (R), the average is 26.83%, the observation aspect of the child's interest, the child's attention in learning and the involvement of the child

Abstract

The development of motor functions is one of the dimensions of early childhood development that is important to note among other development dimensions. This is a fundamental part of the child's need to develop muscle, brain, and nerves, which is one of the basic developments at a later stage. Therefore, this dimension needs to get appropriate stimulation in accordance with the stages of child development, so that stimulation is given with the right portion. One of the most effective ways to develop children motor skills is through their favorite activities, such as fun and play activities. This paper tries to explain one of the fun activity alternatives that could be used to optimize the motor physical ability of children aged 3-4 years, ie through, among others, throwing ball games. It is hoped that this paper is useful for early childhood education practitioners, as well as parents in developing ways to stimulate the development of motor skills of early childhood through fun activities

Abstract

Various methods used by parents or teachers as educators as an effortto implement a plan that has been prepared to achieve learning objectives for students in both real and practical activities. These include habituation methods. Basically every method has advantages and disadvantages. For that educator must be able to choose the method with various considerations. Method of habituation is a method that takes place by familiarizing the students to think, behave and say and do all the activities that have been determined to create positive habits in the life of the students. For that, this method takes a relatively long time. Prayer is a pillar of religion. It requires habituation in implementing it since the age of tamyiz, as the Prophet said. Habituation also functions in instilling discipline of children. It should be noted, however, that in instilling these habits the educator should pay attention: the principle of preserving the fitrah of the child, strived to develop the potential of the child, is directed and done gradually.
