Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah adapengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)dengankelompok kecil terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Metode yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Populasinya adalah SiswaKelas VIII Semester genap SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung. Sampel terdiridari 2 kelas yaitu VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 25 siswadan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 25 siswa denganteknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian inimenggunakan tes essay. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistiksederhana dengan rumus t-tes sebagai berikut :t = x 1 − x 2 s1n1+1 n2dengan s =n1−1 s1 2+ n2−1 s2 2n1+n2−2Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh harga t hit = 4,34 dari tabledistribusi pada taraf signifikan 5% diketahui tdaf = t(1-1/2 ) = 2,02 dan tdaf =t(1- α) = 1,68. Terbukti thit > tdaf .

Abstract

Teachers talk in the classroom when they give instructions, provide feedback, ask questions to elicit information and when they giveexplanations. Students on the other hand talk when they answer questions, prepare for a speaking task, perform a speaking task, asking questions and of course when side-talking to friends. During different sections of a lesson, more or less teacher talk is appropriate because he/she will need to speak more to explain the concept and give examples.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the shape and the social context of utterances used to express speech acts commissive intend, promise, swear, and bernadar in staging dramas Mangir Wanabaya. This study uses a pragmatic approach and sociolinguistics, hereinafter referred sosiopragmatik approach. Problem to be investigated is the use of the form and context in speech acts commissive.The form of this research is descriptive qualitative. The strategy used in this study was content analysis. Collection data techniques is to study the document. Research data collection, namely the context of noting that the use of natural language in order to reveal the intention of utterances commissive appropriately.The research proves that this form of speech acts commissive Mangir Wanabaya drama performances can be said, propositif predicate, and the context of the stated commissive. Pragmatics in the context of the study can be used as guidance for recognizing intent. Obtained commissive speech act is intended commissive speech acts, speech acts commissive promise, swear commissive speech acts, speech acts commissive bernadar.

Abstract

Social attitudes is an important thing in life together in a society. This is because during his life humans will never be separated in the presence of an interaction with another human being. With a good social interaction is expected to lead to social feelings that can bind the individual to his fellow human beings in the form of mutual help, respect and accept, sympathy, and so on.Social Studies has the noble task as the foundation of the development potential of learners, intellectually, socially, culturally and socially, which is able to foster a way of thinking, attitude and behavior are responsible as individuals, citizens, and citizens as well as citizens of the world. Additionally Sciences also has the task of developing social values in shaping social attitudes of learners in the face of social problems, both of which draw themselves and society that occur in everyday life.Teachers are required to demonstrate high creativity in developing learning in the classroom, and is expected to achieve breakthrough in social studies learning, so that learning becomes meaningful learning undertaken. Learning that promotes mastery of competencies focus on learners, provide learning and provide learning experiences relevant and contextualized subject matter and develop a rich and strong mentally to students.

Abstract

This research entitled A Study on Grammatical Errors in English Sentences Written by the Second Grade Students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan is intended to find out the grammatical errors made by the second grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Prambanan and to find out the highest frequency of grammatical errors made by the students.This research is qualitative research. The object of this research is grammatical errors in English sentences. In collecting the data, the researcher uses testing technique. She gives the students some exercises, collects the students‟ exercises, and puts the exercises into a research data file. In analyzing the data, the researcher applies descriptive qualitative method. The researcher reads the students‟ English sentences. She observes the data carefully to find out grammatical errors. She takes note on the grammatical errors and then classifies and tabulates them based on the kinds of grammatical errors.The result of the study shows that the grammatical errors found in the students‟ sentences deal with omission errors, addition errors, misformation errors, and misordering errors. The highest frequency of grammatical errors lies on the use of be form.

Abstract

Vocabulary is entirely important to be learns. In order that the students can express their minds, make sentences, interact and also catch the meaning from the context. This research applied Word Webs Game in teaching vocabulary. This research analyzed the result of application of the technique in order to know the influence of Word Webs game.The number all population in this research are 161 students. It used an experimental method in this research. It took two classes as the sample. The sample is taken by using Cluster Random Sampling Technique. The form of the test is objective test that is multiple choice that consist of 50 items of vocabulary test.Before conducting the research, it is assumed that the students had the same characteristics, qualities and also status. The result of the research showed that there was positive influence of Word Webs Game towards students’ vocabulary mastery at the second semester at SMP Dharmapala Bandar Lampung in 2012/2013. It is shown from the distribution list df = 40 obtained the 3.24 and for α = 5 % or 2.00, α = 1 % or 0.01 = 2.66, so the result is 2.00 < 3.24 > 2.66. So, Ho is accepted and ha is rejected.The Average score of post test in experiment class was 68.75, while the average score of post test in control class was 57.67. It is indicated that the average score of post test in experiment class was higher than the average score of post test in control class. So, it can be concluded that there was positive influence in of Word Webs game towards students’ vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Degradation of morals, ethics and character today continues to be a major problem among teens this nation. Every action and behavior that are not based on religious values create patterns of teenage life of the Indonesian nation increasingly unfocused. Gambling, booze, brawls, sex continues to take its toll, but the culprit it more and more so it is necessary to find the problem its grass roots to be resolved. The presence of a boarding school can be an alternative moral issues, ethics and character of Indonesian adolescents. Pesantren is a multi-religious educational institutions function, as well as educational institutions to transfer religious sciences (tafaqquh fi al-din) and the values of Islam religious boarding school as an institution of social control, and boarding schools as religious institutions who do social engineering or community development.

Abstract

Political education, especially in the concept of political culture for citizens who become first-time voters is a shared responsibility. In the implementation of democracy in Indonesia, particularly citizen voters should have the skills of citizenship is good to be able to channel their aspirations well.The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect is the formation of civic skills to the level of the political aspirations of a class XI student voters at Al-Kautsar senior high School in the city of Bandar Lampung. Methods This was a descriptive correlational study, this sample is a class XI student who has become a first-time voters in Al-Kautsar senior high School in Bandar Lampung, amounting to 68 people, the data collection techniques used is to test and questionnaire data processing is then performed through the analysis of SPSS statistical version of 17:00.Civic Skills affect the level of the political aspirations of the students, It is based on the calculation of the path coefficient ρ> 0 is obtained ρ2 = 0.703 with a significance above 0.485 and the significance level α = 0.05 level real thus significantly influential variables.

Abstract

Boarding School is the oldest Islamic institution in Indonesia which has a very important role in the dissemination and strengthening adherence to the Islamic community. But since when actually boarding school began to stand up, not known for certain, but researchers have found that in the 16th century boarding school institutions has grown. Among the researchers also differences of opinion about the origin of the term cottage and boarding school, some argue comes from within and some were of the opinion from the outside. Shelters, boarding school was originally taught about fiqh, tafsir, tasawwuf and classic books as characteristic of traditional boarding school, then along with the emergence of schools of renewal as the effect of advances in science and technology, it also affected the schools boarding school renewal, and this is a positive development Boarding School for it self. However, despite the affected schools boarding school renewal, boarding school never taught schools of radicalism / extremism, because the true ideology contrary to the teachings of Islam and Islamic proselytizing ways.

Abstract

Learning aims to improve students' competencies. Learning objectives will be achieved if students understand the material being studied optimally. Therefore, appropriate learning models necessary to achieve these goals, particularly in mathematics. The learning model is selected learning model that can make students feel comfortable in the learning of mathematics, and the learning model chosen is Accelerated Learning. Accelerated Learning has five stages of learning, namely: 1) motivate the mind, 2) obtain information, 3) investigate the meaning, 4) triggers a memory, 5) show off what you have mastered, and 6) reflect on how you learn. Paper presented to the literature method to discuss how the theoretical description of the model of Accelerated Learning and how the learning strategy by using a mathematical model of Accelerated Learning.
