Abstract

This study aims to review or review the literature related to school-based bullying prevention interventions in children. Methods This research was conducted using a literature review method. Articles were identified using an electronic database, including PubMed, Science Direct, DOAJ, and ERIC, using keywords to answer research questions formulated using the PICOS method. The results showed that five articles were selected from 40 reports that matched the eligibility criteria. Based on the analysis results, the 5 articles had a significant effect on school-based bullying prevention interventions, such as including prevention programs in the curriculum or school extracurricular activities by involving various stakeholders. In conclusion, school-based intervention proved to be effective as an intervention to prevent bullying. Keywords: Bullying, Intervention, Prevention, School

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between marital satisfaction and postpartum depression in postpartum mothers in South Tangerang. The type of research used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that 60 respondents (20.55%) experienced postpartum depression with an EPDS score of more than 13, and 15 respondents (5.16%) were dissatisfied with their marriage. In conclusion, there is a relationship between marital satisfaction and postpartum depression with a p-value of 0.018. Mothers who are dissatisfied with their marriages tend to experience postpartum depression. Keywords: Postpartum depression, Marital satisfaction, Maternal, Nurse

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of dry cupping alternative treatment on blood cholesterol levels. The research method in this study used a pre-experimental design with a two-group pre-and post-test design. The results showed that most of the blood cholesterol levels before cupping were nine people (30.0%) with worrying blood cholesterol levels (200-239). Most of the blood cholesterol levels before 13-point cupping were 11 people (36.7%) with High Blood Cholesterol Levels (>240), then after 13-point cupping, 11 people (36.7%) had Worrying Blood Cholesterol Levels (200-239). In conclusion, groups 9 and 13 cupping points affect reducing blood cholesterol levels. Keywords: Cupping, Cholesterol, Alternative Medicine

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brain gym therapy on increasing short memory of school-age mentally retarded children. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design, one groups pre and post test design. The results showed that the t-dependent value of the brain gym pre-post test, with a p-value of 0.000 and the mean value for children who were given brain gym intervention was 10.60 with a standard deviation of 0.996. In conclusion, there is an effect of brain gym therapy on increasing short memory of school-age children at State Elementary School 05 Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of breathing relaxation techniques on the frequency of urination or urinary incontinence for the elderly at the Tresna Werdha Pagar Dewa Social Home Bengkulu. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental research design. The results of the study found that most of the respondents were female, namely 9 (60%) and male, 6 (40%), while based on education level, most of the respondents had a low level of education, namely 13 (86.7%) for higher education. there are 2 respondents (13,3%). The results of the bivariate analysis of breathing relaxation techniques on the frequency of urination in the elderly (p-value = 0.000). In conclusion, there is an effect of the Breathing Relaxation Technique on the Frequency of Urination in the Elderly at the Tresna Werdha Pagar Dewa Social Institution, Bengkulu. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Alexander technique on the comfort level of pregnant women in the third trimester. This research uses a quasi-experimental design approach with a pretest-posttest design with a control group design. The paired sample t-test analysis results showed that there was a difference in the average level of comfort in the intervention group before and after being given the intervention with a p-value of 0.000. In the control group, a p-value of 0.282 was obtained. This indicates that there is no difference in the level of comfort before and after. The results of the GLM-RM test showed that the greenhouse-geisser (Sig) value was 0.000 < 0.005, and the most significant partial eta square value was in the 7th measurement (0.454). In conclusion, the alexander technique can increase comfort in third-trimester pregnant women. Keywords: Third-Trimester Pregnant Women, Comfort, Alexander Technique

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the experience of nurses who experience acts of violence by schizophrenic clients. The type of research used in this research is qualitative, which intends to explain and provide understanding and interpretation of various behaviors and experiences of humans (individuals) in multiple forms. The study results produced several themes, namely the form of violence, the condition of the patient, preventive measures, the state of the nurse when receiving violence, the health condition of the nurse, and the time the patient was angry. In conclusion, the violence experienced by nurses was being hit, pulled, thrown using a food holder, and spat on. The patient's condition who commits acts of violence is that the patient's hallucinations are occurring, the patient is unstable, and the medicine is not taken. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applied behavior analysis therapy on social interaction in children with autism aged 7-12 years at SDLB SLB Negeri 2 Buleleng. The type of this research is pre-experimental research with one group pre-post test design. The results of the univariate analysis, most of the respondents were male 53 respondents (85.5%), the level of moderate social interaction was 46 respondents (74.2%) autistic children before being given treatment, and the high level of social interaction was 40 respondents (64, 5%) autistic children after being given treatment. The results of this study indicate an effect of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy with a high level of social interaction totaling 40 respondents (64.5%) of autistic children after being given treatment. The results of data analysis with the Wilcoxon test get a value of 0.000 or p <α (0.05). In conclusion, Applied Behavior Analysis therapy has an effect on social interaction in children with autism aged 7-12 years at SDLB SLB Negeri 2 Buleleng. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity and blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. The research design used was a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of respondents had moderate activity, as many as 19 people (43.2%), and the majority of respondents had poor blood sugar levels, namely 21 people (47.7%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that p-value = 0.000 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient (r = 0.756). In conclusion, there is a relationship between physical activity and blood sugar levels in Type 2 DM patients. Keywords: Physical Activity, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Blood Glucose

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on oxygen saturation in COPD patients. The research design used a pre-experimental one-group pre-post test design. The results showed that the average oxygen saturation value before being given deep breath relaxation was 90.19, and the average oxygen saturation after being given deep breath relaxation was 93.27. Based on the results of the paired t-test showed that the results of pre and post (0.000) < (0.05).
