Abstract

This study aims to identify an increase in central venous pressure in patients given lateral or prone position interventions and to identify the rise in central venous pressure in patients given semi-fowler position intervention in the intensive care unit. This study uses a Quasi-Experimental method with a Case-Control design. The results obtained are the p-value of 0.000, meaning that the research significantly affects the positioning of the central venous pressure (CVP). In conclusion, there was an increase in the average CVP value before and after the passive position intervention was -1,967 cmH2O; on the other hand, there was a decrease in the average CVP value before and after the semi fowler position intervention was 1,867 cmH2O. Keywords: Supine and Semi Fowler Position, Central Venous Pressure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using clinical pathways to control total actual hospital costs for BPJS patients who undergo a cesarean section. The method used in this research is action research. The results showed that the average actual hospital costs were significantly higher after the application of CP with p = 0.019. The average length of stay, service costs, and hospital costs were significantly lower in the entire CP form group with p = 0.012, p = 0.013, and p = 0.012. In conclusion, this study shows that the application of clinical pathways can reduce the length of hospitalization and actual hospital costs for cesarean section patients and indicates that clinical pathways can make services more efficient. Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence nurse compliance and find the best solution to improve adherence to oral hygiene. The research method begins with searching scientific articles in 4 databases, namely PubMed, Wiley, science direct, and google scholar. The results of the study of 7 included articles, 42.85% (3 pieces) stated that nurses' knowledge and perceptions were the main factors that influenced nurse compliance, and 14.3% (1 article) indicated that service practices/facilities affected adherence. Other factors were found including; limited time, motivation, nurse workload, unavailability of oral hygiene procedures, and lack of interprofessional collaboration, so the best solution is to increase the knowledge and competence of nurses with training, workshops, and monitoring systems in the implementation of the VAP bundle. In conclusion, nurses' knowledge and perceptions are the main factors that affect nurse compliance in performing oral hygiene, so increasing knowledge and competence is the best solution as a joint effort to reduce the incidence of VAP. Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that play a role in PCC implementation on indicators of hospital service quality (patient safety) based on moderate work motivation. Research method This research uses an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The results of this study accepted three hypotheses, including the relationship between PCC implementation and patient safety and two indirect effects, namely the role of PCC implementation on patient safety through work motivation and one of the factors of PCC implementation (Measurement of systems and responses) to patient safety. In conclusion, work motivation related to the form of appreciation or reward is the indicator with the most significant value that has a positive effect on the implementation of patient safety if it is supported by the support of factors that play a role in the performance of PCC in the Bhayangkara General Hospital TK IR Said Sukanto, East Jakarta as one of the hospitals. military Keywords: PCC Implementation, Work Motivation, Patient Safety
