<![CDATA[The victory of the candidate pair Mohammad Idris and Imam Budi Hartono in the 2020 Depok City Regional Election created substantial political dynamics at the local level. The background of the candidate pair, holding incumbent status, provided advantages in terms of track record, knowledge, public figure status, and popularity, which could shape social support as a political campaign tool. The utilization of social support as a political instrument was reinforced through a religious approach by leveraging figures and community groups to form social networks. Through the formation of social networks within the community, the candidate pair could formulate policy programs aligned with the community's needs. This research aims to analyze the sociopolitical aspects related to the phenomenon of community decision-making contributing to the victory of the candidate pair. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, utilizing two types of data sources: primary data obtained through structured interviews and secondary data including books, statistical data of Depok City, and relevant previous research. The research findings indicate that sociopolitical factors such as political identity, economy, religion, and social dynamics play significant roles in shaping the victory of the candidate pair Mohammad Idris and Imam Budi Hartono in the 2020 Depok City Regional Election. The findings from this research provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of comprehending the interplay of sociopolitical factors in understanding political phenomena at the local level.]]>

<![CDATA[E-government implementation in Indonesia is faced with several obstacles, including regulatory conflicts, limited facilities, shortage of human resources, and lack of public understanding. Surabaya City Government successfully overcame these challenges by launching Surabaya Single Window (SSW) Alfa application for licensing. The purpose of this research is to explain and analyze e-government success factors in Licensing Services through Surabaya Single Window (SSW) Alfa in Surabaya City. The research method used is a qualitative case study method written descriptively using e-government success factors. Data collection was done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results obtained in this study are 1) DPMPTSP Surabaya City and DINKOMINFO Surabaya City have a clear assessment basis and questionnaires to assess the quality of the SSW Alfa application, 2) DPMPTSP Surabaya City and DINKOMINFO Surabaya City have maintained the quality of staff skills through internal training and provided various facilities related to staff skills for other OPDs, 3) There is still a shortage in the availability of human resources, but in handling public complaints, DPMPTSP Surabaya City provides various channels. 4) DPMPTSP of Surabaya City and DINKOMINFO of Surabaya City have had basic regulations as a reference for the implementation of SSW Alfa, and overcome budget constraints by using the general budget, 5) There are constraints on the limited number of ICT human resources at DINKOMINFO Surabaya City, as well as additional human resources at DPMPTSP Surabaya City to support the Public Service Mall (MPP).]]>

<![CDATA[One of the main problems in Indonesia is waste. Piles of waste are an inseparable part of life because waste will continue to exist along with human activities. This research aims to explain the strategies implemented by the village government to increase community awareness in managing waste and the obstacles faced in implementing the strategy in Pematang Johar village, Labuhan Deli sub-district. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The place of this study was Pematang Johar Village, Labuhan Deli Sub-district. Data collection techniques were observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it shows that one of the effective strategies to increase public awareness in managing waste is through the establishment of waste banks. The existence of waste banks can encourage community participation in the waste management process, starting from collection, sorting, to the transformation of waste into materials that can be reprocessed with economic value. In addition, there are several obstacles faced in the implementation of waste banks in Pematang Johar Village such as time constraints due to daily work and financial constraints in running the operations of the suka mulia waste bank, including operational costs, equipment acquisition, and employee payroll. The conclusion of this research is that one way to increase the awareness of Pematang Johar Village residents about waste management is to implement a waste bank program. The existence of a waste bank in this village can encourage active community involvement in activities. However, there are several obstacles in the implementation of this program in Pematang Johar Village, such as financial constraints. In addition, many residents have difficulty managing their time to participate in waste bank activities.]]>

<![CDATA[The demonstration at the GBI Cinere Chapel in September 2023 was one of the factors that made Depok City the city with the lowest tolerance index in Indonesia. The city of Depok has had the lowest tolerance index in Indonesia since 2020-2023, so it is included in the category of intolerant city. This research aims to explore political steps that can be used to build coexistence among the people of Depok City in the challenges that arise in achieving coexistence amidst the complexity of diversity, especially in the case of the GBI Cinere Chapel demonstration. The method used in this research is a qualitative-descriptive method by analyzing descriptive data obtained through interviews and writing and making observations from the data. The results of the research show that in carrying out coexistence development efforts in the Depok City community, we must be active in collaborating with leadership and community dialogue, reviewing legal and policy frameworks, as well as adapting the practices of tolerance development programs. Thus, it is hoped that these various efforts can become preventive efforts in maintaining unity in the Depok City community.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the representation of locality values in CNN Indonesia's Inside Jawa Barat program. The presence of Sistem Siaran Jaringan (SSJ) implementation rules in Undang-Undang No. 32 of 2002 opens up opportunities for the establishment of local television stations in Indonesia to create programs that raise local issues. Inside Jawa Barat is a show that tries to present local genius in an interesting manner, becoming a significant entity in providing dynamics for the existence of local television in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the representation of locality values in the Inside Jawa Barat program and how the program implements government regulations by creating shows that focus on local issues. Analytical descriptive qualitative research methods, including observation, documentation, literature studies, and semiotic concepts, were used in collecting all research data, with episode 30 of the Inside Jawa Barat program selected as the research subject. The results showed that Inside Jawa Barat succeeded in portraying the values of locality through the presentation of programs that highlight the culture, traditions, and lives of the people of West Java. Analysis using John Fiske's semiotic theory reveals that signs in the Inside Jawa Barat program create an understanding of reality, representation, and ideology as the embodiment of locality values represented by television programs. The conclusion of this study shows that the Inside Jawa Barat program not only complies with government regulations but also presents content about local values. The implications of this research can serve as a reference for the television industry to develop programs that comply with government regulations and highlight the wealth of local values.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of social media has become an integral part of everyday life, including in people's political participation. Campus community political participation is greatly influenced by social media. Social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp have a significant impact on political engagement. People use social media as a political campaign tool, as well as a means of communicating and obtaining political information that is fast, accurate and reliable. This research aims to determine the influence of social media on political participation in campus communities. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection method was carried out by interviewing students. Participants in this research were PPI FUSI UINSU students using structured interviews conducted with 30 PPI FUSI UINSU students. Data is collected and analyzed to identify levels of media use, participation and politics. The research results show that social media is very important for citizen participation, especially the community. The role of social media as a medium for information about politics is quite large. Social media as a communication tool for seeking political information, social media has positive and negative impacts on the political participation of campus communities, especially in increasing political awareness and participation through online information and discussions and the spread of hoax news. With easy access and fast dissemination of information, social media allows students to more easily engage in political discussions, express opinions, and gather support for various issues. Apart from that, social media also helps in mass mobilization to attend demonstrations, elections and other political events. Social media has an important role in increasing the political participation of students in the Fusion Islamic Education Study Program at UIN North Sumatra. As a result, political participation among students has become more active and dynamic, creating a younger generation who is more aware and critical of developing political issues.]]>

<![CDATA[Tendency limits need to pay attention to the quality of life so that everything is not excessive, a culture of healthy living must continue to be built and implemented, good living habits need to be managed regularly so that the lifestyle persists for each individual, such as watching excessively and feeling lonely in the life of parasocial interaction. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of excessive viewing and loneliness on parasocial interactions. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 76 students who were students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy. The data collection method used was a Likert scale, namely a scale of excessive viewing, loneliness, and a scale of parasocial interaction. The results of the research show that: (1) there is a significant influence on excessive watching and loneliness on parasocial interactions among students Pharmacy with a calculated F value = 14.197; (2) there is a negative and significant influence effect of excessive watching on parasocial interactions with beta coefficient (β) = -0.116, t = -0.976; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of loneliness on parasocial interactions with a beta coefficient (β) = 0.612, t = 5.162.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of culture, reference group, and belief on consumer purchasing decisions in the treatment of Rumah Sehat Thibbun Nabawi. This is a survey research. The population in this study was Rumah Sehat consumers in Pekanbaru city and Batam city using an accidental sampling technique. The number of samples was 96 respondents. This means that from each consumer, 96 samples were taken from Pekanbaru city and 96 from Batam city. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. The results of this study indicated that the alternative therapies (Rumah Sehat) in Pekanbaru city with culture and beliefs influence the purchasing decisions of Rumah Sehat consumers while the reference group does not influence the purchasing decisions of Rumah Sehat consumers. The culture, reference group, and belief influence the purchasing decisions of Rumah Sehat consumers in Batam city. Overall, there is a significant comparison between Rumah Sehat in Pekanbaru City and the consumers of Rumah Sehat in Batam city toward the consumer purchasing decisions in doing therapies in Thibbun Nabawi.]]>

<![CDATA[Occupational safety and health professionals play an important role in improving workplace safety. However, the effectiveness of safety leadership, safety coaching and engagement in improving safety performance, mediated by safety culture, remains under-researched. This study aims to analyze how these factors influence safety performance among occupational safety and health professionals in Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. This study used a structural equation modelling (SEM) approach for hypothesis testing based on data collected from 180 active occupational safety and health professionals using purposive sampling. The results showed that all hypotheses were supported: safety leadership mediated the relationship between safety training and safety engagement with safety performance. This suggests that leadership is important in fostering a safety culture and encouraging proactive employee engagement. In addition, safety training was found to significantly influence leadership and safety performance. The results of this study conclude that strengthening leadership and engagement in safety through targeted coaching and training can significantly improve safety outcomes in high-risk industries. The findings underscore the importance of integrating safety leadership and culture into organizational practices. Future research should explore the long-term impact of safety leadership interventions and the potential for cross-industry application to further improve workplace safety standards.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to find out how the influence of gender differences and financial inclusion on sharia insurance marketing capabilities in the NU organization Padangsidempuan. Bannier & Schwarz research, which says that The role of gender differences can have implications for financial literacy and inclusion finance. The type of research used is quantitative research with methods multiple linear regression. The data analysis technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique with hypothesis testing used includes the T test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The sample in this research is the large organization NU in the last 5 years (2018-2022). The results of this research show that gender differences have no effect on insurance marketing capabilities sharia. Meanwhile, the financial inclusion variable has a significant effect on sharia insurance marketing capabilities. Simultaneously variable differences gender and financial inclusion have a significant effect on marketing capability sharia insurance. This research has an Adjusted R Square value of 0.748 or 74.8%. This shows that the dependent variable or marketing capability Sharia insurance can be explained by dependent variables or gender differences and financial inclusion with a score of 74.8. While the remaining 26.2% influenced by other variables. Money was not examined in this study.]]>
