Turats Journal is published by the Islamic Education Study Programme at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi periodically every 6 months or twice a year in June and December. Turats Journal accepts various research articles on the theme of Islamic education within Indonesia and the world / internationally, both from literature studies and field studies with various approaches. Turats, starting in 2024, partners with the Indonesian Education Research Centre (PURISDIKI) to provide quality articles for lovers, activists, researchers and practitioners of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study focuses on the role of manaqib activities in the formation of Islamic character in the Fajar Dunia Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Manaqib Syaikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani's activities in the formation of Islamic character as well. To find out the results of the character of the Fajar Dunia Islamic Boarding School students after participating in the activities of Manaqib Syaikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with the type of case study research using observation, interviews, documentation. Analysis of the data used by researchers to discuss the problem of this research is a descriptive analysis technique. The data that has been obtained is collected, then processed into a picture and problem, analyzed and compared with the scientific theory being studied. The role of manaqib activities is influential in the formation of Islamic character, because in manaqib activities which contain religious spiritual activities that play a role in shaping the character of the students and the congregation who participated in manaqib activities. And Manaqib activities are the main attraction in terms of religious spirituality, especially for people in Indonesia. because in manaqib he conveys stories of pious people who can be expected to be imitated or implemented by students and congregations.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the implementation of the problem posing method in improving learning activities in Bekasi and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research was conducted through analytical techniques from the data that had been obtained during research activities and the researchers attempted to explain and explain rationally, objectively with the objectives and existing research problems. The method that the researcher uses in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of naturalistic phenomenological research, namely the type of research carried out by researchers to identify human experience about a certain phenomenon naturally. The implementation of the Problem posing method begins with doing absenteeism by students. Next, the educator forms a study group between 4-6 students in the group. After that, the teacher explains the material related to honest and fair behavior and avoids drinking, gambling, and fighting, then the teacher gives enough practice questions and the teacher asks students to ask questions 1 or 2 the questions are challenging and the students concerned must be able to solve them and randomly the educator asks students to present their findings in front of the class, in this case the teacher can determine students selectively based on the weight of the questions submitted by students after that the educator gives homework individually. The implementation of the problem posing method in increasing learning activities has supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors are the ability of educators to apply the problem posing method, complete learning resources such as LKS books (Student Worksheets) and writing tools, the condition of students who are ready to learn. While the inhibiting factor is the limited time in the learning process. This problem posing method can be used as a learning method because learning activities carried out through the problem posing method can increase student learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' perceptions of distance learning on students' PAI learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, attitudes and skills at SMA Widya Nusantara. The research method used is a survey method with a correlational approach. The sample used was 25 students obtained by the Simple Rondom Sampling technique. Collecting data on the variable X using a questionnaire and the variable Y using the documentation of students' PAI learning outcomes. The results showed that there was an effect of students' perceptions of distance learning on students' PAI learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills at SMA Widya Nusantara. Aspects of knowledge obtained the value of Sig. 0.000 then the value is 0.000 <0.05 or it can be seen that the t count value is 5.096 then 5.096> 2.069 (t table) then it is stated that H1 is accepted Ho is rejected, and for the relationship of variable X to variable Y on the aspect of knowledge 0.728, by contributing the variance of the X variable to the variable Y on the knowledge aspect 53%. The attitude aspect is obtained by the value of Sig. 0.000 then the value is 0.000 <0.05 or it can be seen that the t count value is 5.656 then 5.656> 2.069 (t table) then it is stated that H1 is accepted Ho is rejected, and for the relationship of variable X to variable Y in the attitude aspect 0.763, by contributing to the variance of the X variable to the variable Y on the attitude aspect 58.2%. Aspects of skills obtained the value of Sig. 0.000 then the value is 0.000 <0.05 or it can be seen that the t count value is 5.403 then 5.403> 2.069 (t table) then it is stated that H1 is accepted Ho is rejected, and for the relationship of variable X to variable Y in the skill aspect 0.748, by contributing the variance of the X variable to the variable Y on the skill aspect 55.9%.

Abstract

This study tries to ascertain the connection of student logical-mathematical on the ability of memorizing the Al-Qur'an. Correlational research using a quantitative technique includes this kind of study. 60 students muslim were chosen for the research sample using a straightforward random sampling proceduct. Research data were collected via tests, and documentation; these data were then checked fornormality, homogenity and linearity before being subjected to a straightforward Pearson Correlation analisys. The study's findings indicated that memorizing the Qur'an intensely positifity impact. Proof of the all that output signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 Pearson Correlation 0,818 > 0,05 t value a caunt 0,254 < 0,818. meaning that the more ability memorized the Qur'an, the better one's logical-mathematical intelligence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic Education learning in enhancing the emotional intelligence of students at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. This research is motivated by the fact that in everyday life, not all problems can be solved solely with intellectual abilities. There is a tendency that the higher someone's level of intellectual intelligence, without being accompanied by emotional awareness, the greater the risk of experiencing emptiness or a spiritual drought in that individual. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research results can be summarized as follows: 1) The emotional intelligence of students at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat varies, with some students having low emotional intelligence and others having high emotional intelligence. 2) The effectiveness of Islamic Education learning in enhancing students' emotional intelligence at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat can be observed through the activities implemented in Islamic Education, such as counseling, teaching religious values, and religious practices. This indicates that Islamic religious education at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat is effective in developing an understanding of religion and motivating students to apply religious values in their daily lives, not just focusing on theoretical knowledge but also on the experiential and practical aspects of Islamic religion in students' lives.

Abstract

The background to the problem of this research is that the problems that occur in teenagers are none other than because their mental health is unhealthy and one of the parties who is also responsible for this is the family. Family is the closest person who can guide and direct teenagers to become individuals who have a good mentality and religious foundation. Zakiah Daradjat is one of the figures who has deep thoughts on this matter. She was the first female Islamic psychology figure to research in depth on mental health in adolescents. This research aims to: (1) To determine the mental health of adolescents according to Prof. Dr. Zakiah Daradjat, (2) To find out the role of the family in shaping adolescent mental health through religious education according to Prof. Dr. Zakiah Daradjat. This research is a type of library research with documentation data collection methods and data analysis methods using descriptive analysis, while the data sources used by researchers consist of primary sources such as books by Zakiah Daradjat, and secondary sources, namely books and other documents. The research results show that: (1) The influence of the family environment is very large on the formation of adolescent mental health. What families can do include: understanding teenagers, being a good listener to teenagers, not interfering in teenagers' personal affairs, and avoiding punishment and threats to teenagers. (2) Islamic religious education carried out in the family environment is a very important force in the formation of adolescent mental health. With a healthy mind, juvenile delinquency can be prevented. Families must be able to create inner peace for their children who are in their teens. Such as providing understanding, advice, guidance on the problems being faced by teenagers through Islamic religious education provided in the family environment so that they avoid ongoing mental disorders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Character Education in the book Sirah Nabi Muhammad by Al-Hafizh AdzDzahabi. The background of this research is the lack of good character caused by daily habits that cause negative characters for students, both from the family, the surrounding environment, playmates, and technology, the lack of education in forming character because education prioritizes and develops intellectual intelligence rather than improve character for students. As well as the many shows on social media and television that do not educate so they cannot form character. This research is a type of qualitative research using the library research approach. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive method and library method.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the application of the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at SMK Islam Vinama 2 Bekasi and knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research was conducted through analytical techniques from the data that had been obtained during research activities and the researchers attempted to explain and explain rationally, objectively with the objectives and existing research problems. The research method used is a naturalistic qualitative method, namely research that is based on a phenomenological view and seeks to understand the meaning of events and their relation to the object of research. This study formulates how the application of the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at the Vinama 2 Islamic Vocational School in Bekasi? then what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the application of the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at Vinama 2 Islamic Vocational School Bekasi?This study found at least 2 kinds of findings, namely: first, the Al-Barqy Method is a method used in learning to read and write the Qur'an, delivered practically and using a classical approach and has four institutional words in the AlBarqy method. Second, the application of the Al-Barqy method in schools (1) the teacher starts learning with an opening prayer, (2) the teacher checks the attendance of students, (3) the teacher provides Al-Barqy material (4) closing activities with a question and answer session (5) prayer Closing. The material in the Al-Barqy method starts from the introduction of hijaiyah letters using the word institution A-DA RA-JA MA-HA KA-YA KA-TA-WA-NA SA-MA LA-BA, recognition of the sound of aiu with fathah, kasrah , dhammah, the introduction of long and short reading phases, the introduction of the law of nun mati and tanwin readings, the phase of introducing muqottoah letters, and the law of reading Qolqolah and Alif Lam Qomariyyah and Syamsiyyah. So that students easily understand what the teacher is saying, and are able to improve students' ability to read the Qur'an. Third, the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of the AlBarqy method, among others, are the supporting factors of teachers who have taught previously, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of Al-Barqy method books available in schools, and the lack of teachers who attend training on the Al-Barqy method.

Abstract

Children's education from the start is education with the greatest content and is an investment in the world of education in the future. Preschool education is one of the levels of education that plays a role in introducing the systematics of life in a directed way to a child with various patterns and formats. Therefore, philosophically, preschool education is not about learning something or getting to know new things. Preschool education actually prioritizes the formation of a child's orientation towards everything that requires processes and interactions with things that can naturally enrich their thinking.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas's idea of ​​the Islamization of science as a basis for the reconstruction of the Islamic education system. This study was motivated by concerns about the influence of secularism and westernization that caused the de-Islamization of Muslim thought. To overcome this problem, Al-Attas proposed the concept of the Islamization of science which aims to free science from non-Islamic values ​​and harmonize it with Islamic principles based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. This article uses a qualitative research method with a library research type. The main data source is the written works of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, such as books, journals, and other writings. Secondary data was obtained through other literature relevant to the topic of the Islamization of science and the concept of Islamic education to enrich the discussion. The results of the study show that Al-Attas's Islamization of science is built on an Islamic worldview that is sourced from the teachings of monotheism. The epistemology of science needs to be reconstructed in line with Islamic principles by placing spiritual aspects as its foundation. Al-Attas also proposed the concept of ta'dib as a model of Islamic education that integrates physical, intellectual, and spiritual aspects with adab as the core of its method.
