Abstract

Abstract.  Changes in the world of online business have occurred a lot due to the many demands of society related to consumers who increasingly want convenience in shopping which is currently a trend. This demand makes entrepreneurs have to adjust to the needs of these consumers. In order not to be unable to compete with other businesses, entrepreneurs must adapt to the increasing number of online businesses that are currently emerging. This study uses four main factors that will be examined in relation to consumer decisions in choosing online businesses, namely promotion variables, service quality, Electronic Word of Mouth, Brand Image, and consumer buying interest variables on the Lazada e-commerce site in the city of Semarang. This study used a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who had shopped at Lazada online trading site in Semarang City as a sample. The sample selected in this study used a purposive sampling method using SPSS version 24. The research used in this study was multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing (t-statistical test, f-statistical test, and test of the coefficient of determination). The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of promotion, service quality, Electronic Word of Mouth, and Brand Image on the variable of purchase intention. Abstrak.  Perubahan dalam dunia bisnis online telah banyak terjadi dikarenakan banyaknya tuntutan masyarakat yang terkait dengan konsumen yang semakin menginginkan kemudahan dalam berbelanja yang saat ini sedang menjadi trend. Tuntutan ini membuat pengusaha harus menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan konsumen tersebut. Agar tidak kalah bersaing dengan bisnis lain, maka pengusaha harus menyesuaikan diri dengan semakin banyaknya bisnis online yang muncul saat ini. Penelitian ini mengunakan empat faktor utama yang akan diteliti dalam kaitannya dengan keputusan konsumen dalam memilih bisnis online, yaitu variabel promosi, kualitas pelayanan, Electronic Word of Mouth, Citra Merek, dan variabel minat beli konsumen pada situs e – commerce Lazada di kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar kepada 100 responden yang pernah berbelanja di situs jual beli online Lazada yang berada di Kota Semarang sebagai sampel. Sampel yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 24. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda, dan uji hipotesis (uji t – statistik, uji f – statistik , dan uji koefisien determinasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel promosi, kualitas pelayanan, Electronic Word of Mouth, dan Citra Merek  terhadap variabel minat beli.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing management by objectives on employee productivity with a case study at PT. Findora Internusa Cirebon. The data used in this study is primary data, namely responses to questionnaires from 50 respondents. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive verification research approach. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS Version 25 for windows program. The results of the study show the implementation of job related objectives, growth objectives, tasks and projects and targets and values variables on productivity carried out at PT. Findora Internusa is in the high category. Simultaneous testing of the influence of job related objectives, growth objectives, tasks and projects, and targets and values has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. Partially job related objectives (X1) and tasks and projects (X3) have a positive but not significant effect on employee productivity. Meanwhile, for growth objectives (X2) and targets and values (X4) variables, there is a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. Abstract

The researcher examined one of the companies engaged in the Food and beverage retail industry in the Coffee shop field. Product distribution is carried out through offline stores and e-commerce. This research is conducted to find weaknesses and contribute by proposing a program. The method for analyzing this research is qualitative by direct observation, in-depth interviews, documentation collection, and the company's secondary data. The study was conducted through the marketing division. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the problems obtained were in the aspect of product presentation, which was considered ineffective and efficient. Based on the existing weaknesses, he contributed by proposing a program with the title Cashless Can be Fun. This program implements Artificial Intelligence with partners who work with Artificial Intelligence-based applications. This application encourages consumers to place orders and payments at the desk cashlessly. The aim is to provide comfort, satisfaction, and valuable experience to consumers, especially consumers with Utilitarian tendencies. The application of Artificial Intelligence can maximize functionality to satisfy consumers with Utilitarian tendencies.

Abstract

Abstract.  This study aims to analyze the proportion and trend of hotel, restaurant and advertisement tax revenue and explain its effect on the local revenue of Manado City in 2016-2018 with population growth and growth in the number of tourists as moderating variables. The results of the proportion test show that the average and realization of hotel and restaurant tax revenue from 2016-2018 is more than the revenue target. The result of tren analysis show that during 2016-2018 hotel, restaurants, and advertisement tax revenue showed an increase. The average realization of advertisement tax revenue during 2016 exceeded the revenue target. However, in 2017-2018 the realization of the advertisement tax did not reach the target. The results of the trend analysis show that during 2016-2018 hotel, restaurant and advertisement tax revenues showed an increase. The results of this study indicate that the hotel tax has a significant effect on the local revenue of the City of Manado, while the restaurant and advertisement taxes have no significant effect on the local revenue of the City of Manado. Abstrak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa proporsi dan tren penerimaan pajak hotel, restoran dan reklame serta menjelaskan pengaruhnya terhadap pendapatan asli daerah Kota Manado tahun 2016-2018 dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan pertumbuhan jumlah wisatawan sebagai variabel moderasi. Hasil uji proporsi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata dan realisasi penerimaan pajak hotel dan restoran dari tahun 2016-2018 lebih dari target penerimaan. Hasil analisa tren menunjukkan bahwa selama tahun 2016-2018 penerimaan pajak hotel, restoran, dan reklame menunjukkan kenaikan. Rata-rata realisasi penerimaan pajak reklame selama tahun 2016 melebihi target penerimaan. Namun, di tahun 2017-2018 realisasi pajak reklame tidak mencapai target. Hasil analisa tren menunjukkan bahwa selama tahun 2016-2018 penerimaan pajak hotel, restoran, dan reklame menunjukkan kenaikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pajak hotel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan asli daerah Kota Manado, sedangkan pajak restoran dan reklame tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan asli daerah Kota Manado.

Abstract

Dexin Steel Indonesia (DSI) is a China-Indonesia joint venture steel company with its headquartered is located at Jakarta and its manufacturing factory is located at Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park, Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi. Steel market in Indonesia is as fierce as ever, and DSI needs to be stand out among other competitors to thrive in the fierce market. In this qualitative study, the researchers inquired into the issues to explore DSI’s competitive advantage, by employing a single instrumental case study with interviews, observations, and field notes. There are 10 informants who were approached for this study consisting of 5 internal stakeholders and 5 external stakeholders. The findings evinced a mini-model theory that guides DSI in Indonesia to enhance its competitive advantages to be able to survive in the marketplace. The mini-model theory consists of Experienced and Skillful Leadership, Language Barrier, Supportive Parent Company, Commitment to Alliance Agreement, Cultural Awareness, Cost Management, Learning Agility, Advanced Technology and lastly Equipment and Customer Engagement. Finally, the researchers also suggest other possible avenues for further research.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the influence of brand and perceived that affect the purchase intention of a smartphone brand in Batam City which is mediated by brand loyalty. This study focuses on taking samples of consumers who have the intention to buy smartphone brands from Iphone, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Samsung. The findings in the study were conducted on 309 respondents who are interested in buying a smartphone brand. The data analysis method used in this study through Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS_SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS Version 3.0 program. The results show that brand loyalty, brand association, and brand image significantly affect purchase intention, while brand awareness, perceived quality, and perceived value did not significantly affect purchase intention. Furthermore, the results showed that brand awareness, brand image, and perceived value had a direct and significant effect on brand loyalty. The remaining variable brand association, perceived quality, has no significant effect on brand loyalty. For indirect testing, it was found that brand awareness, brand image, and perceived value can have a better effect on purchase intention through brand loyalty mediation.

Abstract

The transition of digital media and platforms has driven new markets for the mobile game industry. Currently, the video game segment has been adapting platforms and driving a significant increase in users and driving intense market competition. In an increasingly competitive climate, marketing success does not only depend on increasing the number of downloads but also on continued use based on the ability to meet user expectations, in the context of using mobile games users have a variety of pleasures to be fulfilled. This study identified the influencing factors (antecedents) of perceived enjoyment and their implications for the continuity of mobile game use. The results of this study indicate that Design Aesthetic, Perceived Ease of Use, Challenge, Variety, Novelty, and Interactivity can significantly become antecedents that determine the fulfillment of perceived enjoyment by mobile game users. The results of this study also have implications for the literature regarding the evaluation of sustainable relationship values, where Perceived Enjoyment was found to be significant in determining the continuity of mobile game use as a consequence of the relationship between antecedents as a predictor. Abstract

After the subside of the Covid-19 case which has attacked the whole world including Indonesia for ± 2.5 years, people have started to live a normal life, one of which is in terms of entertainment. Music concerts are entertainment that has a big contribution in Indonesia. With the development of the times, concert ticket sales have collaborated with various platforms to sell tickets online. Blibli is an e-commerce in Indonesia that often works with concert promoters to sell concert tickets. However, many consumers still criticize the quality of the website owned by Blibli because it is often down. Not only that, the quality of Blibli's services is often discussed by consumers because they have not worked optimally. These two things make many consumers dissatisfied with Blibli's performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of Website Quality on User Satisfaction mediated by Service Quality on Blibli. This type of study is quantitative research with descriptive analysis. The number of respondents in this study is 400 with the criteria of having bought concert tickets in Blibli. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling and a Likert scale. The data analysis used is PLS (Partial Least Square) with SmartPLS 3 software. The results state that Website Quality (X) has a positive and significant influence on User Satisfaction (Y). Website Quality (X) has a positive and significant influence on Service Quality (Z). Service Quality (Z) has a positive and significant influence on User Satisfaction (Y). Website Quality (X) has a positive and significant influence on User Satisfaction (Y) through Service Quality (Z).

Abstract

Company value is an important indicator that with good firm performance will encourage investors to invest in a company by reflecting high prosperity for shareholders, company value can increase. This study aims to analyze the effect of funding decisions, dividend policies and company size on company value during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sample used was 60 companies according to the criteria with the purposive sampling method as the sampling technique. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The variables used are funding decisions, dividend policies and company value. The results of the study show that simultaneously the funding decision variables, dividend policy, company size, and covid-19 have a significant effect on company value, while partially funding decision variables have no positive effect on company value, partially dividend policy variables have a positive and significant effect on company value, partially the variable company size has a negative effect on company value, and partially the covid-19 variable has no negative effect on company value. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of asset structure, activity, leverage, and COVID-19 on the profitability of health sector companies. The research method used was purposive sampling. The sample used was 13 health sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with annual data for the 2015-2021 period according to the established criteria. Analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis with four independent variables and one dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that asset structure, activity, and leverage have a significant negative effect on profitability, while Covid-19 has an insignificant positive effect on profitability.
