Abstract

The development of urban culinary destinations has intensified competition in attracting visitors, particularly among Generation Z, who tend to be critical and experience-oriented consumers. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand gestalt and self-place congruity on Generation Z’s revisit decisions at culinary destinations in Manado Bay, with visit intention acting as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method targeting Generation Z visitors who had previously visited the area. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using structural model analysis to examine the relationships among the research variables. The results indicate that brand gestalt and self-place congruity have a positive effect on visit intention. Furthermore, visit intention significantly influences revisit decisions. Visit intention also plays a mediating role in the relationship between brand gestalt and self-place congruity and revisit decisions. These findings suggest that a holistic perception of a destination and the congruence between visitors’ self-image and the destination image can enhance visitor loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the capital market reaction to events before and after the announcement of the 32% US tariff on Indonesia on manufacturing companies listed on the LQ45 index. Market reaction is measured through Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity with a quantitative approach using the Event Study method. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, with a sample size of six manufacturing companies listed on the LQ45 index for the period May-July 2025. The testing was conducted using a paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test with an observation period of 7 days before and 7 days after the announcement. The results showed that there was no significant difference in abnormal return or trading volume activity before and after the tariff announcement. Thus, the announcement of a 32% tariff by the United States on Indonesia did not cause a significant reaction in the Indonesian capital market

Abstract

Rising household consumption of cooking oil in Indonesia has increased the volume of used cooking oil waste, which poses environmental risks but also creates opportunities for circular-economy ventures. Dolmin, a business that collects used cooking oil and upcycles it into aromatherapy candles, still faces unstructured marketing efforts and consumer skepticism regarding the safety, cleanliness, and credibility of products derived from waste materials. This study develops a sustainability-based green marketing strategy to strengthen environmental education, brand identity, and economic value creation for Dolmin by integrating the Segmenting–Targeting–Positioning (STP) framework, Value Proposition Design (VPD), and the Business Model Canvas (BMC). Using a qualitative single- case study approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation over the research period and analyzed thematically through the lens of STP, VPD, and BMC. The results propose a strategic positioning of Dolmin as an environmental education agent, emphasizing transparent communication from collection to processing and upcycling to reduce perceptions of greenwashing and build trust. The primary market segment is identified as women aged 25–40 with an interest in sustainable lifestyles, supported by secondary targets such as homemakers and business partners, and a value proposition combining sustainability, aesthetics, and social meaning. Practical recommendations include activating digital channels (Instagram and TikTok), strengthening storytelling, improving aesthetic product design, expanding variants and interactive features, and scaling partnerships with restaurants, schools, communities, and influencers. Overall, the integrated strategy offers an implementable business development roadmap and provides practical insights for similar waste-management enterprises promoting responsible consumption and production.

Abstract

Abstract

Green housing purchase intention is an important issue in sustainable urban development in Indonesia. This study examines the determinants of green housing purchase intention by extending the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). The model incorporates environmental concern, perceived value, reasonable price, and green product attributes to represent behavioural and economic factors influencing consumer decisions. A quantitative survey was conducted among 286 urban respondents, and the data were analysed using multiple regression. The results indicate that purchase attitude is the strongest predictor of purchase intention. Perceived value and environmental concern have significant positive effects, while perceived behavioural control shows a weaker influence. Subjective norms and reasonable price are not significant. In addition, green product attributes significantly influence purchase attitude, highlighting tangible environmental features shaping consumer perceptions. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening consumer attitudes and perceived value to encourage green housing adoption.

Abstract

Influence is a word that means in moving a person to do something. The existence of the influence of social information that develops in the world of technology is rapidly accompanied by the influence of social norms that develop among the community to form a mindset that leads to customer behaviour in making purchase decisions. In this study, online buying behaviour was examined as a mediating variable that leads to more simultaneous and stronger compulsive buying among customers. This study involved 126 respondents who actively watched and made purchases through the TikTok and Shopee live streaming methods. The data was processed using Smart-PLS and it was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between information social influence (ISI) and Normative Social Influence (NSI) affecting the mediating variable Online Buying Impulsiveness (OBI). However, NSI does not have a significant effect on dependent variable Compulsive Buying, in contrast to a significant ISI, which affects CB directly. These findings reinforce previous research on the role of Online Buying Behaviour as a mediating variable.
