Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a broad impact not only on human health but also on the global economy, causing various sectors to face significant challenges, including the banking sector. This study aims to analyze the differences in financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Regional Development Banks (BPD) throughout Indonesia for the 2018–2023 period, using financial ratios such as Return on Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Net Interest Margin (NIM). This research applies a comparative approach with a quantitative method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test.

Abstract

The development of digital technology is driving the transformation of banking services, making product innovation and customer experience key to creating satisfaction and loyalty, especially for Generation Z who are digitally oriented and easy to switch services. This study aims to analyze the effect of product innovation and customer experience on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable, among Generation Z users of SeaBank in Manado City. This study employed a quantitative research approach using a survey method. The population consisted of Generation Z customers who actively use the SeaBank digital banking application in Manado City, with a total sample of 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that product innovation and customer experience have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of communication, work environment, motivation, and work ethic on employee performance at the Pratama Bening's Clinic in Manado. This study used a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the entire population of 29 employees, so the sampling technique used a saturated sampling method (census). The results of the validity and reliability tests showed that all instrument items met the measurement criteria, and the classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity) were met so that the model was feasible to be analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that communication, work environment, motivation, and work ethic simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, communication and work environment were proven to have a positive and significant effect on performance, while motivation and work ethic had a positive but insignificant effect. These findings indicate that increasing communication effectiveness and improving physical conditions are the dominant factors driving performance. Managerial implications suggest the need to strengthen two-way communication, provide adequate work facilities, and re-evaluate the incentive system and work discipline so that motivation and work ethic can contribute more optimally to performance achievement.
