Abstract

Corn is a one of horticultural commodity in Kota Baubau, that is widely cultivated by producers in various farming businesses. To increase sweet corn production according to consumer demand, farmers use empty land to plant sweet corn in order to meet consumer demand. The people of Kaisabu Baru, apart from being farmers, are also direct sellers of boiled corn from their harvest in order to increase farmers' income to meet their social and economic needs. The size of the farmer's income greatly influences the farmer's own motivation in carrying out his farming business. The aims of this research are 1) to find out the social and economic impact of the boiled corn farming community in Kaisabu Baru Village, Sorawolio District. 2) To find out what the level of welfare of the boiled corn farming community is in Kaisabu Baru Village, Sorawolio District. The sampling method in this research is the purposive sampling method. Data processing and analysis uses one method, namely descriptive qualitative. The results of the research show that 1) the socio-economic impact felt by boiled corn farmers has provided positive changes. 2) the level of welfare of the boiled corn farming community in Kaisabu Baru Village has increased

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing Smart Living through the Teman Bus application in Palembang City and providing benefits both theoretically and practically. Application Teman Bus is one of the public transport development programs in urban areas. This application is road-based using technology and non- cash based to improve the safety and security of people's mobility. Application Teman Bus the one in Palembang City is a concept design Buy the Service (BTS) was first issued by the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. The Teman Bus application will automatically add regulations and be neater, and more sophisticated for transportation users in the city of Palembang. Potency Smart Living in Palembang City supports the realization Smart City. The research method used is a qualitative method that aims to collect accurate and objective data related to the issue being discussed, data collection techniques that involve interaction, including observation, interviews, and documentation. Smart Living is part of the six concept areas Smart City discusses criteria and concepts on how to better manage the quality of life and habits (culture) in an area).

Abstract

Indonesia has large human resources but the capacity for job opportunities exceeds this, causing unemployment problems. Unemployment is not only a problem for the central government but also for regional governments, as is the case in D.I Yogyakarta. The Manpower Service (Disnaker) has a role in overcoming employment problems which include job opportunities, human resources, worker education, access to training, wages, job protection, by establishing programs to reduce unemployment. To determine the role of the Manpower Office in reducing the unemployment rate in D.I Yogyakarta, researchers conducted research using a descriptive approach using observation, interviews and documentation methods in collecting data. Based on research, the Manpower Office uses priority programs, namely the Workforce Placement program, Job Opportunity Expansion Program and Job Training Program. In this case, the Manpower Office plays a role in reducing the number of unemployed in D.I Yogyakarta in 2022.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1. to determine the level of influence for minimum service standard policies on regional mineral water companies tirta patriot in the northern Bekasi district on the quality of public services. 2. to determine the level of influence of human resources in regional mineral water companies tirta patriot in the northern bekasi sub-district towards the quality of public services. 3. to find out the purpose of the influence of the minimum service standard policy and human resources on the regional water company tirta patriot in the northern bekasi sub-district, jointly on the quality of publicservices.Research carried out on regional mineral water companies tirta patriot water for the district in North Bekasi, the results of the study showed that the minimum standard of service was consumer complaints. (x1) influences the regression model y 0,578 so also with human resources (x2) significantly influences the quality of public services (y) with the regression model y 0,304 . 0,578 while based on the test results f, obtained f count for8,791 > f table 3,12 with a significant level . 3,12 because of the probability value < . 8,791that is (3,12 < 8,791) then hypothesis is accepted which means there is influence between the minimum service standard policy variable (x1) and the natural resource variable (x2) together simultaneous quality of public services (y).

Abstract

This reserach aims to analyze how the 30% women’s affirmative action policy impact women’s representation in the Tasikmalaya City DPRD and explain the factors that hinder the 30% women’s representation policy in the 2019 legislative elections. This research is motivated by the case of the decline in women’s representation in 2019, namely only reached 6.7 %. With this relatively small number, it is a concern for the Tasikmalaya city government to make more efforts regarding the empowerment of women in thei participation in the political field, especiallyin legislative institutions. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using literature study techniques and field studies through observation and interviews. The data source comes from 4 party management members consisting of the Golkar, Gerindra, PDI Perjuangan, and PPP parties, then 2 of them and the KPUD commisioner and a female member of the DPRD council. The results of this research show that the affirmative action policy with a minimum quota of 30% of women in the legislative election nomination stagehas been fulfilled by political parties. This can be seen from the placement of women’s representation in each electoral district in Tasikmalaya city. However, this fulfillment has not yet had a significant impact on increasing women’s representation in Tasikmalaya City DPRD seats, this is caused by several factors that occur, including economic limitations, social contruction, and also party networking. Political is still not optimal for increasing women representation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how far the licensing function is in the use of space in the city of Bandung in the construction of Apartment The Maj Collectin which is located in the Dago area. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, using a literature study. The results of this study, the licensing function in the city of Bandung is not yet optimal, seen from the case of the construction of Apartment The Maj Collection. The conclusion of this study shows that the licensing function for spatial planning in the city of Bandung is still far from what was expected and the local government has not realized the awareness of all government officials. As a result, there has been a change in land use in the area which will have an impact on environmental damage and natural disasters such as landslides and floods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of the e-Samsat application of East Java Province and South Sumatra, especially regarding tax payments towards egovernment by comparing the development of the East Java e-samsat application with the E-dempo application in the application of E-government. Other e-samsat users, in addition to less efficient procedures, website system connection problems can also affect people's desire to be reluctant to use the program.  Qualitative research methods are used by looking at phenomena more broadly and deeply in accordance with what happens and develops in social situations, starting from the data collection methods used, namely observation, interviews, and also documentation. The results show that the East Java e-Samsat application is more complex than e-dempo which is still in the transaction stage while the East Java e-Samsat is already in the transformation stage. The East Java e-Samsat application and also e-dempo are considered more efficient in the use of the application because applicants who want to pay taxes no longer need to come to the samsat office in Indonesia because they can verify anywhere because it can be done 24 hours without a time limit which allows users of the East Java e-Samsat application to no longer need to come to the samsat office, while the e-dempo application is Samasat can provide full 24-hour online services which should allow users to verify data at the Samsat office and this cannot be done online which makes the e-samsat application more effective and efficient, in the use of the application and also after electronic payment.

Abstract

This research investigates the multifaceted challenges of defense policy formulation by addressing three primary questions: How does political polarization affect defense policy? In what ways do cultural factors influence national defense policies? What are the primary bureaucratic obstacles in defense policy formulation, and how can they be mitigated? Utilizing Political Polarization Theory, the study examines how ideological divides hinder consensus-building and lead to policy stagnation. Constructivist Theory of International Relations explores how cultural narratives, historical legacies, and national identity shape defense strategies. The Bureaucratic Politics Model analyzes internal power struggles and inter-agency rivalries that complicate policy formulation. Qualitative research methods using secondary data, including literature reviews, policy documents, and case studies, are employed to examine these dynamics. Findings indicate that political polarization leads to delayed and compromised defense policies, cultural factors significantly influence strategic priorities, and bureaucratic obstacles impede efficient policy implementation. The study concludes with recommendations for mitigating these obstacles through strategic reforms, enhanced inter-agency coordination, and the adoption of new technologies. This research provides comprehensive insights for policymakers to navigate the complexities of defense policy formulation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the supervisory function Government Internal Oversight Apparatus (APIP) in preventing budget misuse in the South Buton Regency Regional Government. The theory used is the theory expressed by Winardi, namely the concept of supervisory formulation which consists of establishing standards or bases for supervision, examining the results achieved, comparing implementation with standards, determining differences if there are differences, and correcting deviations with corrective actions. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and document studies, which are then analyzed using interactive techniques from Miles and Huberman which consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The Government's Internal Supervision Apparatus (APIP) in preventing budget abuse in the South Buton Regency Regional Government can operate by carrying out quality assurance activities including audits (financial audits, performance audits and audits for specific purposes), evaluation, monitoring, socialization of supervision, education/training, guidance, and consultancy as well as communication of supervision results through supervision results reports. This function is carried out in Financial audits carried out at 15 risk-based SKPDs, performance audits at the fisheries service, probity audits at 5 strategic packages, BOS fund management audits at education units, and village financial management audits and the most effective review activities are carried out as a preventive measure such as review of budget activity plans, review of self-estimated prices, and expenditure budget plans.

Abstract

This research explains the interim village head (PAW) election in Banyumas in 2022. The aim of holding the interim village head (PAW) election is to fill the vacancy in the position of village head due to death. The conditions for inter-term village head elections can be implemented because the village head dies, resigns or is dismissed and his term of office is still more than 1 year. The results of the research show that the interim village head election in Banyumas in 2022 is in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, starting from determining the election committee, determining the permanent voter list to implementing the interim village head election which is carried out through village deliberations. Problems Interim village head elections in Banyumas district in 2022, among other things, the budget is still covered by the Village APBD and Banyumas Regent Regulation Number 70 of 2021 does not yet regulate in detail the interim village head elections. The recommendation in this research is that the Banyumas district government must realize the mandate of article 34 paragraph 6 of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning financing for interim village head elections which are charged to the Regency/City APBD. Apart from that, the Banyumas Regency Government and the Banyumas DPRD must review Regional Regulation Number 70 of 2021.
