The researcher performed a literature study to collect data from various sources that support the researcher’s chosen topic, i.e., all sharia fintech registered with OJK and licensed as of December 2020 associated with maqashid al-shariah. In general, Shariah fintech has fulfilled the principles of maqashid al-shariah. However, there are elements that need to be more strengthened. An example is the need for a governing regulation that separates Shariah fintech from conventional fintech regulation. This is because there are very different crucial elements and principles between these two types of fintech. As a suggestion for the development of Shariah fintech in the future, in addition to strengthening in terms of regulations, intense education related to Shariah fintech products is still needed to the wider community, especially to people who have great potential to become consumers but are not well-educated of new technologyes.

This study aims to examine the methods that can be used to measure bankruptcy in sharia banking. This study is also to examine the potential for bankruptcy which is most effectively used. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with a literature approach. The results showed that of the six bank measurement methods, all of them could not be used to measure bankruptcy in Sharia banking without being modified first. This is because all methods have constituent elements based on interest and taxes. All methods can be used when eliminating the elements of interest and taxes. However, based on the research, it was found that the most widely used method to measure bankruptcy is the Altman Z-Score model, but the Springate S-score is the most effective in detecting the bankruptcy of Sharia banking in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of bank-specific and macroeconomic factors on financing risk for Islamic Commercial Banks. The financing risk in the previous study focused more on the overall financing risk involving the bank's internal and macroeconomic aspects, either separately or together. There is still limited research that examines financing specifically, both the use of these two factors separately or together, especially on the risk of profit-sharing financing. This study will complement the literature on the above issues. This study uses quantitative methods with panel data regression analysis using quarterly financial ratio data from Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2012-2020. The results showed that the dominant bank-specific factor influenced the risk of profit-sharing financing, while the macroeconomic factor was only inflation which showed a significant effect.

This certainly indicates that the merger policy carried out by BSI has resulted in increased interest, enthusiasm, and work ethic among employees at BSI Megamas Boulevard Manado. The other 2 ethos, namely Work is Grace and Work is Worship, did not significantly impact changes related to the work ethic of BSI employees.
