Abstract

Adolescent behaviors that have the potential to cause problems that often occur and are most prominent among adolescents are some high-risk behaviors including experiences of sexual violence and premarital sexual behavior. Changes that occur in adolescents ranging from physical, psychological, and social changes that risk causing problems because they are hanging out with peers and feel attracted to the opposite sex. The impact of sexual behavior on adolescents results in abortion, unwanted pregnancy, death, increased incidence of HIV/AIDS as well as an increase in juvenile crime in adolescents. The purpose of this literature study is to identify early predisposing factors, enabling factors, and reinforcing factors that influence premarital sexual behavior. The method used in writing this literature study with internet searches from Proquest, CINAHL, EBSCOHost, Pubmed, Google Scholar and nursing books from 2000 – 2014 with the keywords Premarital sexual behavior. Predisposing factors include dating status, dating frequency, and knowledge. Enabling factors include the use of smartphones and reinforcing factors are religious norms and family norms. It can be concluded that several factors that influence the occurrence of premarital sexual behavior include dating status, frequency of dating, knowledge, smartphone usage, religious norms and family norms. The high influence of premarital sexual behavior shows that health promotion programs must be focused on increasing positive and supportive values, as well as the need for skills training so that adolescents can avoid premarital sexual behavior.

Abstract

Delegation of authority is the process of transferring tasks to other legitimate or legitimate people in carrying out various activities aimed at achieving certain goals. In the implementation of the delegation of the authority of medical action from doctors to nurses must be carried out in writing and the mechanism for implementing the delegation of authority must be clear. This study aims to determine the legal protection of nurses in the implementation of the delegation of authority on medical actions and the mechanism of implementing the delegation of doctor's authority to nurses. The research method used is empirical legal research by interviewing and filling out questionnaires as primary data and the legal approach and conceptual approach. Data is analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that most of the knowledge of medical personnel (83.3%) and nurses (88.9%) regarding the delegation of authority and legal protection to medical actions was still lacking. This is because medical personnel and nurses do not know about legislation related to the delegation of authority from medical personnel to nurses. The West Sulawesi Provincial General Hospital and the Mitra Manakarra Mamuju Hospital are still using doctor's instructions as a form of delegation and consider the implementation of delegation of authority from doctors to nurses as a routine activity that is usually done. The delegation implementation mechanism in the form of a special format for delegation, hospital leadership decree and standard delegation operational procedures has never been made. This will affect the implementation of the delegation of authority of medical personnel to nurses. As a result, medical personnel and nurses have not been guaranteed maximum legal protection in hospitals. The conclusion states that the statutory regulations regarding the delegation of authority from medical personnel to nurses and the mechanism of delegation have not been optimally implemented

Abstract

Natural disasters occur all over the world and have massive effects. The impact of natural disasters has prompted various studies to find out the effects of a better mitigation and preparedness phase on individuals and communities in reducing the number of victims. Although revious literature are available that discuss disaster preparedness, studies that specifically assess the effectiveness of community-based disaster preparedness training are not available yet. This study aimed to identify effectiveness of community-based disaster preparedness training and which communication media are effective for use in disaster management in society. The literature reviews were conducted using the PRISMA model. The articles were collected from 4 journal databases, including EBSCO, Science Direct, Scopus dan ProQuest. Quality of each articles were assessed by Crowe Critical Appraisal Tool (CCAT). We identified a total of 3 studies. From the data extraction, 4 types of interventions were obtained in increasing disaster preparedness including phone-based intervention, printed media intervention, peer-mentored preparedness (PM-Prep) program and small group discussion intervention. The effectiveness of community-based disaster preparedness training is evidence that is needed to be applied in various countries due to the high prevalence of natural disasters worldwide.

Abstract

AFB positive detection cases increase in 2011 until 2013 at Sukoharjo District, but TB CDR is still below national and local targets. Nguter PHC has highest CDR among other subdistrict, that is 84.6% in 2012 and 68.9% in 2013. The objective of this study is screening pulmonary TB patients in Nguter PHC region. Target population screening was ≥ 15 years who often contact with AFB positive patients who in of September 2013 to 2014 period. We did screening by interview about clinical symptom and sputum examination. Diagnostic test are distribution and combination of clinical symptoms, microscopic examination of sputum in Nguter PHC, and cross check sputum to BBKPM Surakarta. The analysis are find the value of p, sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and Kappa value. We get 160 respondents. Results of microscopic examination of sputum find 15 people (9,38%) were AFB positive and prevalence is 9.38%. Clinical symptoms that have highest sensitivity is cough for 2-3 weeks or more (100%). Kappa value for the cross check is 80% (good deal) with an error rate of 6.67 rate . The screening helps capture suspected pulmonary TB much more (national target 5-15%). It is recommended that training on the management of TB laboratory analyst officers in all PHC so the value of the agreement (kappa) with BBKPM can be increased and the error rate can be decreased.

Abstract

The high incidence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) causes increased complications associated with DM. One is the Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU). Delayed healing in DFU is usually caused by infection. The infection of DFU contains many gram negative (-) and gram positive (+) bacteria, so it is important. To identify the type of bacteria present on the DFU based on the cause. This was an experimental cross sectional study conducted at ETN Center, Griya Afiat, Avaro, Isam Cahaya, RSUP DR. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar and Microbiology Laboratory Hospital Unhas Makassar. There were 29 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. Specimens of wound fluid were taken by swabbing technique. The specimen was inoculated on NA (Nutrient Agar) and MCA (MacConcey Agar) then incubated at 37 ° C for ± 18-24 hours to see bacterial morphology. If a gram negative bacteria (-) is tested biochemically by bacteria is grown on TSI (Tripple Sugar Iron), SIM (Indole Motility Sulfide), citrate urea, kovacks. As for gram positive bacteria (+) in MSA medium (Manitol Salt Agar), catalase (H2O2), incubated for 18-24 hours at 37 ° C, record the results of identification and match the bacterial identification table based on gram properties. Based on morphological test, 29,5% gram negative (-) and Gram positive (+) bacteria were 8.8% in traumatic LKD, with the dominant gram negative (-) species being proteus vulgaris (8.8%) and staphylococcus aureus 8.8%) in the gram bacteria (+). While for non trauma LKD found gram negative bacteria (-) as much as 58.8% and gram positive bacteria (+) 2.9% with the dominant type of bacteria are S.Aureus (2.9%) and P. Mirabilis (17.6%) for gram negative bacteria (-). Identification of bacteria in DFU caused by trauma and non trauma is dominant gram negative bacteria (-). Further research is expected to identify the type of bacteria based on the Wagner and sensitivity of the bacteria.

Abstract

Acne vulgaris affects about 85% of adolescents and can last into adulthood. One of the factors that influence the pathogenesis of acne vulgaris is androgens. Androgens have an essential role in stimulating sebum production, which has a significant role in the pathogenesis of acne vulgaris. Obesity is often accompanied by peripheral hyperandrogenism. Obesity can affect the sebaceous glands and sebum production, which is the major factor in the relationship between acne vulgaris and obesity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Body Mass Index and the incidence of acne vulgaris. This study used an observational analytic research design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted at Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak Senior High School. Samples were taken using simple random sampling. The independent variable in this study was the body mass index while the dependent variable in this study was acne vulgaris. Sampling was conducted by simple random sampling. We used a logistic regression test for data analysis. The results showed that 61% of students experienced acne vulgaris, and 20.7% of students were obese. The statistical test result showed there was a significant positive correlation relationship between BMI and the incidence of acne vulgaris with a value of p <0.05 and OR 2.807. This study concluded that there was a significant positive correlation between BMI and the incidence of acne vulgaris. The incidence of acne vulgaris increased by 2,807 times as the increase of BMI among students in Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak Senior High School.

Abstract

Injection hormonal contraception Depo-Medroxyprogesterone Acetat (DMPA) is a contraceptive method that is widely used in contraceptive services. This contraception has good effectiveness, and has a systemic way of working in the body, causing systemic side effects on the body. Injectable hormonal contraception consists of Norethindrone Enanthate (Net-En), Depo-Medroxy-Progesterone Acetate (DMPA) and Cyclofem. Side effects that can be caused include menstrual cycle disorders, tenderness in the breast, abdominal fullness, weight changes, dizziness and depression. Most DMPAusers will experience menstrual cycle disorders and are most disturbing. The effect of injecting contraception on amenorrhea increases with the length of time of use. Women have menstrual cycles that are not the same as each other. This can be influenced by various factors including the hormone estrogen, stress level, nutritional intake and heredity and disease. The aim of this study was to determine the association of DPMA injection contraceptive use with the incidence of secondary amenorrhea in the working area of the Lepo-Lepo Health Center in Kendari City. The research design used was observational with a cross sectional study design. This research has been carried out at the Lepo-lepo Health Center. The sample in the study was EFA using injection contraception at the Lepo-Lepo Health Center in Kendari City, which amounted to 92 EFA. The instrument of data collection is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by Logistic Regression test. The results showed that most acceptors had used DMPA injection contraception for ≥ 24 months (42.4%). Most DMPA injection KB acceptors experience secondary amenorrhea (66.3%). There was a significant relationship between the duration of DMPA injection contraception and the incidence of secondary amenorrhea.
