Abstract

Background: Blood supplies estimated to be around 2% of the total population1. However, only 1.88 million bags of blood can be met or 40% of the total needs, so there is a 60% lack of blood from the minimum requirement2. Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the intention to donate blood regularly at UTD PMI Bantul Regency Yogyakarta using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach. Methods: This research was conducted at UTD PMI Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta in September-December 2018. The number of respondents was 35 voluntary blood donors, with sampling techniques using accidental sampling. Results: The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control have a significant effect on the intention to donate. While the results of the regression analysis partially, based on a significant level of value, attitudes have a significant influence on one's intention in donating, while subjective norms and behavioral control do not significantly influence one's intentions in donating. Conclusion: The attitude had the most significant influence on the intention to donate regularly on UTD PMI Bantul Regency Yogyakarta using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach.

Abstract

Background: Toddler age children are in important concept in the growth process. That age is the right time for children to learn various skills, such as learning to defecate and urinate. In do defecate and urinate in toddler need preparation by physical, psychological, and intellectual. The attitude of mother determines the children to use toilet training. Objective:This research is aim to determine the relationship of mother’s attitude with the readiness of toilet training in PAUD Avicena Yogyakarta Methods: This research design is descriptive correlational with cross-sectional approach. The sample of this research was 32 respondents taken with total sampling technique. The data collection is use questionnares with hypothesis testing technique using Chi Square test Results:This research shows that the majority of mother’s attitude in use of diapers in the postive category (84,4%), the readiness of toilet training majority are in category less ( 53,1%) Chi Square correlation value between mother’s attitude in use of diapers to the toilet training readiness is p value 0,000 < 0,05 Conclusion:The more attitude of the mother in supports of using diapers, it will be influential in less toilet training readiness in toddler children Keywords: Attitude, Toilet Training Readiness

Abstract

Background: Anemia in pregnancy is one of the conditions where the hemoglobin level is lower than the normal level, which is <11 g /dl. The nutritional adequacy rate of pregnant women have a role in the process of anemia. Diversity in food consumption have an important role in helping to increase iron substance absorption in the body. Objective: To determine the relationship of iron substance and vitamin C adequacy rates with the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women. Methods: This study is observational research with a cross sectional study approach. Sampling by using simple random sampling method for 47 subjects pregnant women of third trimester was determined by using the Lemeshow formula. Data analysis using Chi-Square test.

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum is a transition period for a woman and is a complex life event that affects the biological, psychological, and social life experienced by the mother. Therefore the need to cultivate an inner bond between mother and baby or known as maternal fetal attachment (MFA). Objective: Aim of this study was to find factors that influence MFA in pregnant women. Methods: cross sectional study. The study was conducted at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Population is pregnant women routine ANC visits at the obstetric clinic. 100 respondents determined by the method of consecutive sampling. Inclusion criteria of pregnant women with a gestational age of 20-38 weeks, do not have high risk of pregnancy, no complications in pregnancy, and willing to become respondents. Exclusion criteria mothers who were not willing to become respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire consisting of basic data questionnaires for pregnant women, Socio demographic data, reproductive history, Pregnancy, PAI questionnaire , SSQ questionnaire. Results: The planned pregnancy had an effect on the MFA with indigo p <0.05 OR 6, 44 which means that the planned pregnancy had an effect of 6.44 times on the MFA score. while age, education, parity, occupation has no effect on the MFA score Conclusion: Planed pregnacy had an effect on MFA score in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta

Abstract

Background:Based on the results of Basic Health Research in 2013, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia 37.1%. Prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of ​​UPT BLUD Meninting Health Center in 2017 amounted to 28.18 %. To increase the absorption of hemoglobin levels, iron supplementation needs to be combined with other micronutrients such as vitamin C Objective:To know the effectiveness of giving tablets added blood and vitamin C to the hemoglobin level of pregnant women Method:This research used Quasi Experiment with Non Equivalent Control Group design with 30 samples divided into intervention and control group Results:The characteristics of pregnant women found that most of them were 20-35 years old (83,3%), high school education (56,7%), respondents who did not work or housewives (96,7%), respondents multiparas (70%), the distance of pregnancy >5 years (61,9%). The average hemoglobin levels of pregnant women who only get tablets added blood 0.36 gr/dL. The average hemoglobin levels of pregnant women who get tablets added blood and vitamin C amounted to 1.2 gr/dL. Statistical test results independent t test obtained p value of 0.006 Conclusion:There is effectiveness of giving tablets added blood and vitamin C to pregnant woman's hemoglobin level

Abstract

Background: Cilacap General Hospital or RSUD Cilacap is a referral center for patients with multidrug resistance tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in western Central Java (Cilacap, Banyumas, Purbalingga, Brebes, Kebumen, Bumiayu, Banjarnegara). Until now there are still few reports on the characteristics of patients with MDR-TB in hospitalsObjective: To identify the characteristics of MDR TB patients in 2017, such as age, gender, education, working status, criteria suspected, treatment and comorbidities.Methods: This was quantitative research with descriptive design uses a survey approach with document analysis. The sampling technique was total sampling. Research subjects was 68 peoples. Data were analyzed using descriptive statisticResults: The age characteristics of patients 20-40 years 50%, women 58.8%, elementary education 42.6%, non-working 32.4%, suspected relapse criteria 42.6%, still under treatment 72.1% and no comorbidities 70.6%, with comorbid DM 22.1%, HIV 5.9%, CHF 1.5%Conclusion: The characteristics of MDR-TB patients in Cilacap General Hospital are half of patients aged 20-40 years, more than half of women, almost half have elementary school education, almost half do not work, almost half have suspected relapse criteria, most are still in the treatment process and most are not comorbid

Abstract

Background: Work exhaustion is a feeling of fatigue and decreased alertness. Factors that cause work fatigue are related to the monotonous nature of work, work intensity, and high mental and physical work resistance, workroom weather; lighting and noise and inadequate work environment, psychological factors, nutritional status, and cardiac rhythm Objective This study aims to find out the dominant factors affecting work fatigue in pole production workers at PT. X Year 2018 Methods: This research method used is a cross-sectional study. The research samples used was a total sampling of 35 respondents. Data collection is done through observation and measurement. The instruments used in the study were questionnaire KAUPK2, Sound Level Meter, Reaction Time, REBA and Pulse Meter. Bivariate data analysis used chi-square and multivariate used logistic regression Results: Bivariate analysis that the variables of age, noise, workload, and work attitudes had a significant relationship with work fatigue (p <0.05) while work period variables, body mass index had no significant relationship with work fatigue. (p> 0.05). Conclusion: The company is expected to set a working hour with a schedule of 8 hours starting from the hours of entry, hours of rest, hours of return, scheduled leave to overtime. And do periodic checks.

Abstract

Background: Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in outpatient services at the Ngaliyan Community Health Center reads the standard time to serve old patients ie 5 minutes while patients are only 7 minutes. Based on the initial survey of 10 outpatients in the Ngaliyan Health Center divided into 5 old patients and 5 new patients, it was found that on average the officers served the old patients ie 18 minutes 17 seconds and the new patients were 18 minutes 32 seconds. Objective: This study aims to analyze the service quality minimum (SPM) of TPPRJ inpatient registration at the Ngaliyan Health Center Semarang City. Methods: This study used an observational analytic research design with cross-sectional approach at Ngaliyan Public Health Center Semarang City. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with total sample are 20 respondents. Analysis data using univariate with percentage. Result: The results showed that in 1st stage average time service old patients is 6 minutes 13 seconds and new patients is 12 minutes 6 seconds. In 2nd stage average time service old patients is 11 minutes 3 seconds and new patients is 12 minutes 6 seconds. Conclusion: SPM service quality of inpatients registration influenced by inpatient waiting time.

Abstract

Background: Adolescents have an unstable nature, want to try new things, if family conditions are not harmonious it is feared that these young people try new things dangerous ones, such as smoking, using drugs, and more worrying, becoming drug dealers. Objective: to determine the level of understanding of the dangers of drugs and cigarettes in juveniles in the Wonogiri II Health Center area in March 2019. Methods: The population was class VII and VIII male students in the three schools totaling 586, this study was a random sampling technique, a Cross-Sectional study through questionnaires. Validity test uses the product moment correlation formula. Reliability test using Alpa Cronbach formula. Results: Research Results respondents who had tried smoking 184 people (66.7%), 97 respondents had a very low understanding of smoking (35.1%), understanding of drugs was very low 119 people (43.1%), while high understanding was only 3 respondent (1.1%). Conclusion: Most students in the Wonogiri II Community Health Center work area smoke a lot and have a low level of understanding of the dangers of smoking and drugs, so counseling is needed regarding the dangers of smoking and drugs so that students' behavior away from cigarettes and drugs.

Abstract

Background: Chronic disease often cause patients feeling anxious in which it give negative consequences on their physical, emotional, social, intelectual and spiritual condition. Nurse can applay complementary therapy such as healing gardens to reduce patient anxiety level. Healing gardens can give comfortable situation, therfore it can improve relaxtation and reduce stress that can make hospitalization shorter. Some researres, results show that healing gardens can improve relaxtation and reduce patients anxiety who are sick. Objective: To identify the relationship between healing gardens toward reducing chronic patients anxiety level in one of Private Hospital in Yogyakarta. Methods: Research design which was done was observation. Population in this research were all chronical hospitalized patient in in one of Private Hospital in Yogyakartaa from August to October 2015. Total sample in this research were 30 respondens who are choosed randomly. Results: The test result of data analysis on the difference of before and after experiencing healing gardens showed p value 0.000 (p value < 0.05), means that healing gardens can reduce chronical panients anxiety level. Conculsion: Healing gardens can reduce anxiety level in chronic illnes patients. Hospital should applay healing gardens toward chronical patients in order to reduce patient anxiety level.
