Abstract

Al-Quran has explained a lot of values that must be used as a partner in carrying out religious life. Religion is actually used as a friendly thing, liberating and not shackled to its people. The Qur'an clearly states that religion should not be used as a tool to sharpen differences that lead to division. Some experiences of religious people so far are examples of people's misunderstanding of the contents and contents of the Qur'an. Many people partially understand the verses in it so that religion is often used as a justification tool for committing acts of violence and inhumane attitudes. Religion is also often used as a tool to restrain each group from other groups. In fact, in the hands of the clergy, the peace of mankind lies.

Abstract

The existence of Shia groups in Indonesia, as in other areas outside Iran, is still not widely known. Even though some writers think that Shia have entered the archipelago since the beginning of the arrival of Islam and their influence is quite strong in the Islamic tradition in the archipelago. The Shia movement in Indonesia is monitored by the ICC Jakarta (Islamic Cultural Center), which is led by a director named Mohsen Hakimullah from Iran. ICC operates in two aspects, namely education and da'wah. Shia in Indonesia are Shia Imamiyah based in Iran. Later his followers in Indonesia called themselves Ahlul Bayt, which is essentially Shia Imamiyah.

Abstract

This research was conducted in online mode of distance learning. The use of the crosswordlabs.com application directs students to be active, collaborative, communicative and critical in determining alternative solutions to a problem. The type of research used is a combination research by combining quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. The subjects in this study were 26 students of class XI IPS 1 SMA N 1 Batanghari. The results of this study are the student response questionnaires using the Crosswordlabs.com application in the closing activity of online learning Sociology of difference, equality and social harmony material has been running effectively with a total of 26 students who enter the high category average of 85.31% and students who are in the medium category. and low 0. The use of applications assisted by Crosswordlabs.com in pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II was able to increase the learning achievement of sociology, the increase was 39 points with the percentage of students who completed it was 98%. The application of the Crosswordlabs.com-assisted method in the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II was able to increase the learning achievement of sociology, the increase was 39 points with the percentage of students who completed the KKM was 100%.

Abstract

The research method used is classroom action research. Based on data analysis, it was obtained an average of 77.22 high from the number of 25 students, with the distribution of categories with high learning motivation of 10 students; in the category of moderate learning motivation of Sociology 15 students; while the Low 0; and a total of 25 students. The result of this study is the increase in student learning outcomes in learning Sociology. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes from before the action, cycle I to cycle II. In the pre-cycle the number of 25 students who reached the KKM was 7 students, 28%, in the first cycle it became 64.00% or 16 students. In the second cycle the number of students who reached the KKM increased to 100% or 25 students. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Google Classroom application can improve learning outcomes in Sociology subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to, first, determine the perception of students of SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Yogyakarta of the Arabic language, in terms of two aspects: the level of ease of Arabic and its main function. Second, to determine whether the factors educational background, family background and learning methods can explain students' perceptions about Arabic learning. With the research subjects were students in grade 3 (last class) of SMP MBS Yogyakarta. This study used mixed methods (method mix) with concurrent triangulation strategy, to collect quantitative and qualitative data concurrently, at a time. Furthermore, the two databases were compared to determine whether there is convergence , the differences, or some combination. In this way, mixing occurs when the researchers came to the stage of interpretation and discussion. Analysis of the data showed that the perception of students of SMP MBS Yogyakarta on the level of ease of Arabic language, the majority (65.62 %) stated "simple, but complicated". Learning Arabic since childhood, healthy family relationships, and teaching methods of the Arabic language that promotes the interests of children are the factors that can create a positive perception of the student about Arabic language. About the main function of the Arabic language, the biggest procentage students of SMP MBS Yogyakarta (30,2 %) stated that Arabic language as a means of international communication.

Abstract

As a human being equipped with intellect, it can be understood the importance of libraries in an effort to support the dynamics of academic activities for all elements at IAIN Metro in particular and society in general. Research to be conducted by the authors in this study is a quantitative study. In quantitative research the process of collecting data is done directly or plunged into the field. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, it can be concluded as follows: No significant influence is obtained from the results of chi-square calculated with chi-square table. By using two-party test, we get chi-square table value (x2tabel) at 1% significance level equal to 13,227 and for 5% significance level equal to 9,488. Thus, the calculated chi-square value (x2count) of 0.414 is smaller than the chi-square table at the significance level of 1% and the 5% significance level then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of social media as a means of promoting student interest in reading at the IAIN Metro Library. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of social media in the promotion of student interest in reading carried out by the library. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature review and then processed by data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the library uses social media Instagram and Facebook to promote the library and the importance of students' interest in reading. Social media features have been fully utilized, but the library's social media admins have not used all of these features in accordance with the results of the best practice of experts, so there are some that have not been utilized.

Abstract

This study discusses the utilization of the BI Corner collection in the Bait al-Hikmah IAIN Metro library. Researching library users who use the BI Corner collection at the Bait al-Hikmah IAIN Metro library. The research method used in this study is a type of qualitative research method by using a qualitative descriptive approach. The method used to obtain data and describe in depth about the utilization of the BI Corner collection at the Bait Al-Hikmah Library IAIN Metro is to conduct observations, documentation and interviews. This technique for analyzing data includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that there are collections available in the library; BI Corner is far from sufficient to meet the needs of users in the library. Meanwhile, the use of collections is not optimally used, in other words there are few library users who make use of library collections.

Abstract

Libraries located in universities, their subordinate bodies, and institutions affiliated with universities, with the main aim of helping universities achieve their goals, namely the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (education, research and community service). The university library is a work unit which is an integral part of its parent institution which together with other units but in a different role, is tasked with assisting the concerned university in implementing its Tri Dharma. Basically the university library is a service and information center. For this reason, every visitor, especially the academic community, has the right to know what services and information can be obtained at the university library. So that later library users can really feel the benefits of the existence of a university library in the Religious College environment.

Abstract

Creating a generation that likes to read and foster interest in reading in students is not solely the responsibility of the library manager. Parents, families, and the community also have an effect on raising awareness of the importance of reading. Of course this requires determination, enthusiasm, hard work, planning, and the realization of activities that must be carried out continuously supported by the availability of facilities and infrastructure. It aims to be able to develop reading interest and reading culture as well as create the next generation of information literate nation. However, the librarian as the manager of the library, especially in an educational institution in Islamic Religious College, also has an important role in the effort to grow students' reading interest. Librarians must have a variety of activity strategies in order to stimulate the growth of reading interest in students.
