This study aims to analyze the cultural and social influence on the purchase decision of indomie instant noodle products The results of this study revealed that cultural and social variables simultaneously and partially had a significant effect on the decision to purchase indomie instant noodle products in telanaipura village, Telanaipura subdistrict.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. The quantitative descriptive method aims to describe the nature of something that is ongoing at the time the research is conducted and examines the causes of a particular phenomenon. The data that will be collected will be analyzed, including secondary data analyzed descriptively, while primary data will be analyzed using analytical tools using SPSS program tools. Before the data is used in the SPSS program, the ordinal data is first used as an interval using the method of success interval (MSI) program. From the total population of 124 people studied, the sample became 55 Employees At The Transportation Office Jambi City  The results of the study are as follows Compensation with an average score of 268.2 when viewed on the scale range, namely Very High, means that compensation at the Jambi City Transportation Service is in the Very High criteria. Performance with an average score of 265.3 when viewed on the scale range, namely Very High, meaning that the performance at the Jambi City Transportation Service is in the Very High criteria. Increasing compensation through stronger performance, increasing employee compensation will result in higher employee performance .The increase in compensation with the performance of the Jambi City Transportation Service employee has a coefficient of determination known from the value (R2) of 0.238 so that it can be interpreted that the increase given by the compensation variable on performance is positive. This condition means that this figure states that the compensation variable (X) is able to explain the employee performance variable (Y) at the Jambi City Transportation Service of 23.8%, whereas 76.2% is caused by other variables outside the variables studied. Compensation and Performance at the Jambi City Transportation Service is categorized as Very High. Based on the hypothesis test, it is known that there is a significant increase in the Jambi City Transportation Service Office, this is evidenced by the tcount 4.073 > ttable 1.67412.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the academic service to students at the Faculty of Economics, Batanghari Jambi University and to find out student satisfaction with Academic service at the Faculty of Economics, Batanghari Jambi University. The variable in this research is one, namely student satisfaction with academic service. The sample in this study was all students of the Faculty of Economics unbari numbered 81 people. The instruments used in this study are documentation to obtain forms of academic service and questionnaires to obtain student satisfaction scores for academic service. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive analysis techniques using percentage formulas to answer the second problem formulation. Through the method and analysis of the data showed that the level of student satisfaction with academic service at the Faculty of Economics, Batanghari Jambi University, was a student who was in the high category was 6 people with a percentage of 7.4%, and those in the moderate category were 58 people with a percentage of 71.6%, while the lowest chose were 17 people with a percentage of 20.9%. Thus the level of student satisfaction with academic services at the Faculty of Economics, Batanghari Jambi University is in the moderate category of 58 students with a percentage of 71.6%.

Abstract

Millennials is very familiar with technology that makes it easier for them to access information and to do many things easily. However, this often makes the millennial generation less careful in managing finances, and causes financial problems. The study wanted to find out how the influence of financial knowledge and financial attitude on financial distress through financial behavior in the millennial generation. Data was collected using a questionnaire for millennial generation respondents who already have their own income. Data analysis using path analysis. The results show that financial knowledge does not directly affect financial distress, but financial knowledge has an effect on financial distress through financial behavior. This indicates that financial knowledge does not guarantee that millennials will avoid financial distress, if this knowledge is not applied in financial behavior. The results also show that financial attitude affects financial distress either directly or through financial behavior.

Abstract

Financial Ratio Analysis is an analytical tool used to assess the company's financial performance. One of the profitability ratio analysis is Net Profit Margin. To find out the level of success or failure of the Net Profit margin, it is necessary to calculate the ratio analysis, such as the Debt to Equity Ratio and the Current Ratio. The research locations used as research objects are In The Koperasi Jasa Sawit Sejahtera Desa Titian Resak Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Debt to Equity Ratio and Current Ratio simultaneously on the Net Profit Margin at Koperasi Jasa Sawit Sejahtera Desa Titian Resak Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. To find out the Partial Effect of Debt to Equity Ratio on Net Profit Margin in the Koperasi Jasa Sawit Sejahtera Desa Titian Resak Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. To find out the partial effect of the Current Ratio on the Net Profit Margin in the Koperasi Jasa Sawit Sejahtera Desa Titian Resak Kecamatan Seberida Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. The research method used is, Quantitative Method. The data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques used are literature study methods, documentation studies and interviews. The data analysis method used is quantitative method, namely normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient and determination, f test and t test. Based on the results of the Hypothesis Testing research and discussion, it was obtained that Debt to Equity Ratio and Current Ratio simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on Net Profit Margin. The results of the Hypothesis Testing Debt to Equity Ratio partially have a positive and significant effect on Net Profit Margin. Hypothesis Test Results Current Ratio partially has no positive and significant effect on Net Profit Margin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of compensation on the performance of employee. Primary data sources using questionnaires taken directly on the object of research, namely the Department of Industry and Trade of Jambi Province with a population of 130 respondents. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis and the data is processed using SPSS 24, namely by simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the regression equation was Y=1.416 + 0.607X + e. Then the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.297 which means that the compensation variable (X) is able to explain the performance variable (Y) at the Department of Industry and Trade of Jambi Province by 29.7% while 70.3% is influenced by other variables outside the variables studied. . And partially the magnitude of the effect of the compensation variable is 7.362 and ttable is1.979. from the comparison results, it can be seen that tcount is greater than ttable (tcount > ttable). With that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. By comparing the number of significant levels (sig) research with a significant level of 0.05 then 0.000 <0.05, so it can be said that there is a significant influence between compensation on the performance of the Department of Industry and Trade of Jambi Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze whether there is a role for internet media and together or individually on the teaching effectiveness of Unbari students during the covid-19 pandemic. This reseach focuses on bathches of Unbari student respondents who are active in 2019 and 2020. The method in this research is qualitative with observational analytical methods through the distribution of questionnaires. The framework in this study is based on a cross-sectional study approach with a minimum sample spread for 3 variables as many as 323 respondents. Based on the results of the hypothesis, it is suspected that internet media and behavior together or alone play a role in the learning effectiveness of Unbari students. The results of data analysis based on univariate analysis stated that 50.8% of respondents stated that online learning was not effective and based on bivariate analysis of internet media and behavior had a significant role on learning effectiveness. Simultaneously, the role of internet media and behavior on the effectiveness of Unbari student learning during the covid-19 pandemic with an F value of 54,526.

Abstract

The Jambi Batik Industry is currently experiencing a decline because a lot of the Jambi batik motifs circulating in the market are mostly supplied from the Java region. The effect of this condition is the original Jambi batik craftsmen get sluggishness in producing Batik. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that influence Jambi batik to be competitive, especially Batik Berkah Jambi City. The predictors variables used are product innovation, product quality, and social media. The research method uses quantitative methods by obtaining primary data from a questionnaire by taking 100 respondents and secondary data from interviews with the gallery owner of Batik Berkah Jambi. The results show that the variables of product innovation, product quality, and social media have a significant effect on the competitive advantage of Jambi Batik. Furthermore, product innovation, product quality, and social media also have a significant effect on competitive advantage at Batik Berkah Jambi City with a coefficient of determination is 57.1% and the remaining 42.9% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, institutional ownership and foreign ownership on the capital structure of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The period used in this study was 5 years (2015-2019). The nature of the research used in this study is descriptive and associative research with a quantitative approach. For the sampling technique, this study uses purposive sampling method, namely by selecting samples that meet predetermined criteria. Based on the existing criteria, 50 companies became the research sample. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis, the profitability variable has a negative and significant effect on capital structure with a regression coefficient of -0.724 and a significance value of 0.024. The liquidity variable has a significant and significant effect on the capital structure with a regression coefficient of -0.151. and a significance value of 0.000. Institutional ownership has no and no significant effect on the company's capital structure with a regression coefficient of 0.708 and a significance value of 0.073. Meanwhile, foreign ownership has no and no significant effect on the capital structure of mining companies and is indicated by a regression coefficient of -0.006 and a significant value of 0.957 is obtained.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of servicescape, service quality and price perception on consumer satisfaction at Larissa Aesthetic Center Purwokerto. The research population is the consumers of Larissa Aesthetic Center Purwokerto, with a sample of 104 respondents. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Research method using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that servicescape and service quality have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction at Larissa Aesthetic Center Purwokerto. Price perception has not significant effect on consumer satisfaction at Larissa Aesthetic Center Purwokerto. This finding implies the need to maintain and improve the concept of the existing servicescape by adding instructions to the room to make it easier for consumers to understand the function of the room at the Larrissa Aesthetic Center Purwokerto. In addition, providing security guarantees and the risk of damage as well as paying attention to the neatness of the appearance of employees in order to add positive value to the company.
