Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence and personality on the performance of employees. This research was conducted at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Jember Branch. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 41 respondents. The data were processed by multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the result of t test, it is known that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence had no effect on performance Employees, while the personality effect on employee performance. Emotional intelligence did not affect the performance of employees Because the dominant respondents is male. While spiritual intelligence had no effect because the age of dominant respondents diverged between 20-40 years. Results showed that emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and personality variables simultaneously affect the employees’ performance. Abstract: The purpose of this study among others, to analyze the effect of the characteristics of the organization and the individual characteristics of the stress of work and voluntary employee turnover intention PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A as well as to analyze the effect of work stress on turonover intention employee of PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A. This study was a research explanation. The study population was 162 employees of PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A sample was 100 people. Methods of data analysis used SEM. The results showed that the organizational characteristics significantly influence employee stress PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A. The individual characteristics significantly influence the stress PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Branch Type A. Characteristics organizations no significant effect on turnover intention Voluntary PT. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyzes the effect of profitability (NPM and ROE) and leverage (DER and DR) partially to stock abnormal returns at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange, also to analyze the different effect of profitability (NPM and ROE) and leverage (DER and DR) on stock abnormal returns at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data used in this research are secondary data collected from ICMD and Annual Report of Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange at 2010 – 2014, and www.yahoofinance.com. The populations in this research are the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling method is purposive sampling. The model of analysis used in this research is multiple linier regressions. Results of this research show that NPM have positively and significant effet on stock abnormal return at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. ROE have positively and significant effect on stock abnormal returns. DER has negatively but not significant effect on stock abnormal returns at the Banking and Insurance Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. DR has positively but not significant effect on stock abnormal returns at the Banking Companies Listed Indonesia Stock Exchange. While for the insurance companies, DR has negative effect but not significant on stock abnormal returns. Abstract

Abstract:The management of capitation funds of National Health Insurance (JKN) for the Regional Common Service Community Health Clinic is part of the regional financial management. The Public Health Service of Bondowoso Regency has implemented JKN since 2014. The capitation fund has a substantial excess funding with the increasing number of memberships and a management administration problem. This research aims to analyze the alternative strategy of optimizing the management of JKN capitation fund run by the Community Health Clinic in Bondowoso Regency using Strengths Weaknesess Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis. The results of external and internal factor identification in Internal External (IE) matrix show that the value of External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) matrix is 2.96 and the value of External Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) matrix value is 2.8. Accordingly, the strategic position for the Public Health Service is the hold and maintain position. Results of SWOT analysis show that there are 3 priority strategies, i.e., SO1 strategy (improving cooperation and cross sector coordination in technical management of the JKN capitation fund), SO2 strategy (improving monitoring and internal evaluation), and WO2 strategy (improving the manager’s competence by providing training and technical guidance). The most possible priority strategy based on the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) with the highest Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) of 6.117 is SO1 strategy, i.e., increasing cooperation and cross sector coordination in term of technical management of the JKN capitation fund. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to empirically analyze the effects of regulation, organizational commitment, communication, and human resources on the performance of the government of the villages in Bondowoso Regency, East Java Province, mediated by the financial management. The sample was 187 respondents consisted of the heads of the villages, secretaries of the villages, heads of the departments, and treasurers. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results show that organizational commitment and human resources have significant and positive effects on the financial management and the performance of the village government. However, regulation and communication have no significant effects on the financial management and the performance of the village government. Abstract

Abstract: The government builds Regional Hospital of Kalisat Jember to improve local public health service. This research aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of role conflict, ethical decision, and work stress on work achievement of the women employees working in the Regional Hospital of Kalisat, Jember. This is a quantitative explanatory research with the sample consists of 71 respondents. Data were analyzed by path analysis using SPSS 18. Results show that role conflict has a positive and significant effect on employee work achievement; ethical decision has no effect on employee work achievement. Meanwhile, role conflict has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work stress; ethical decision has no effect on employee work achievement through work stress; and work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee work achievement. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of asset management, government internal control system, and human resource competency on the revenue with idle asset optimization as the intervening variable, in the Office of State Assets and Auction Service, Jember. This study also aims to determine the best strategy for the state assets management, especially the idle asset, to increase national revenue. This is an explanatory research with applying mixed method approach using embedded concurrent model. The primary data were analyzed using Partial Least Square and descriptive analysis. The sample consists of 43 respondents collected using purposive sampling method. The results show that asset management, government internal control system, and human resource competency have no significant effects on idle asset optimization. Asset management and idle asset optimization have no significant effects on revenue, while government internal control system has a negative and significant effect on the revenue. Human resource competency has a positive and significant effect on the revenue. The results of qualitative descriptive analysis conclude that many working units did not optimally manage the asset utilization. Therefore, the right policy strategy is needed to improve idle asset optimization. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to significantly prove the direct influence of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on performance, and the indirect influence of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on performance through job satisfaction of the educational staffs of University of Jember (UNEJ). This research is an explanatory research with quantitative approach. The sample consists of 154 respondents, i.e., the educational staffs of the head office of UNEJ. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze causal relationship among variables and test the proposed hypothesis. The results of the research show that intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction and performance; emotional intelligence has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction and performance; spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction and performance; and job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on performance. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership, work motivation, and organizational culture on organizational commitment and employee performance in higher education institutions. Using the purposive sampling technique, the sample consisted of 136 respondents, who were employees of STEM Akamigas Cepu. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis, run by the SPSS program, and path analysis. The results showed that leadership, work motivation, and organizational culture had a significant direct effect on organizational commitment; leadership, work motivation, and organizational culture had a significant indirect effect on employee performance through organizational commitment as an intervening variable; and organizational commitment had a direct significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Leadership, Work Motivation, Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment, and Employee Performance.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitiaan adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, dan budaya organisasi pada komitmen organisasi dan kinerja pegawai di institusi perguruan tinggi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 136 responden, yang merupakan pegawai STEM Akamigas Cepu, yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan program SPSS dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh langsung signifikan pada komitmen organisasi; kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh tidak langsung signifikan pada kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel interverning; dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh langsung signifikan pada kinerja pegawai.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Motivasi Kerja, Budaya Organisasi, Komitmen Organisasi, dan Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Health Care ServiceQuality (HCSQ) elements, that consist of physical environmental quality andinteraction quality, on patient satisfaction in Bina Sehat Hospital, Jember. Thepopulation was the patient of Bina Sehat Hospital. Using purposive samplingtechnique, the sample consisted of 100 respondents. Data were analysed usingmultiple linear regression.
