Abstract

Abstract: This study aims: (1) to analyze the influence of personality type to the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (2) to analyze the influence of the organization's commitment to the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (3) to analyze the influence of motivation to the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (4) to analyze the influence of personality type on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (5) to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on performance of staff in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (6) to analyze the influence of motivation on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (7) to analyze the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park. The number of samples taken are 35 respondents (the employees of KSDA Sector Region III Jember, Conservation Section Region V Banyuwangi, Conservation Resort Region 18 Kawah Ijen).Result of the study indicates that (1) the officer's personality type has positive effect but not significant on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park.; (2) organizational commitment has significant positive effect on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the Ijen Crater Natural Park. (3) officers motivation has positive effect but not significant on the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Ijen Crater Natural Park.; (4) personality type has significant positive effect on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (5) organizational commitment has significant positive effect on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (6) motivation has positive effect but not significant on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park; (7) Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) has positive and significant impact on the performance of officers in Ijen Crater Natural Park. Abstract

Abstract: The Purpose of this study is (1) to analyze financial distress as predictor variables of financial difficulty levels banking which is listing on the Stock Exchange (BEI), and (2) determine the financial ratios, including CAR, ROE, NPL, NIM, LDR, ROA, BOPO, and the primary reserve as predictor variables of financial distress in banking sector which is listing on the BEI. The population of this study were 38 banks which is listed on the BEI until December 31th, 2014. Number of samples were 30 banks by purposive sampling technique. The analysis tool of study used Logit regression because of dependent variable was dummy variable and the independent variables were a combination of metric and non-metric. The results showed (1) banks were listed on the BEI has good performance (financial difficulties at low levels), the analysis result of financial distress by using multiple predictor variables, such as CAR, ROE, NPL, NIM, LDR, BOPO and reserves' primary GWM has good average value where is level of accuracy (97.2) in classifying the bank's financial difficulties; (2) The hypothesis testing showed a number of variables such as CAR, ROE, NIM, LDR, and BOPO were not significant as a predictor of financial distress in banking where listed on the BEI. However, NPL and reserves' primary GWM were significant variable as predictor of financial distress in banking where listed on the BEI. Abstract

Abstract: The demand on performance improvement, including financial performance, requires local government to utilize advanced information technology. The Government of Jember Regency tries to improve the financial management quality by applying a computer application named Regional Financial Management Information System or called as Finance SIMDA. SIMDA application develops in line with the latest information technology, namely cloud computing. Since March 18th, 2015, the Government of Jember has implemented cloud-based SIMDA called Cloud Finance SIMDA. The application of Cloud SIMDA is resulting in a more practical, effective, and efficient financial management. The change from the old system to the new one needs to be analyzed to examine the system effectiveness as it is expected to positively affect the increase of performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service or often called as PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, and Services) variables. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Finance SIMDA implementation, before and after using the cloud computing technology, with PIECES variables. This is a quantitative research with survey method. The results show that there is a difference in the effectiveness of the implementation before and after the application of cloud-based Finance SIMDA as seen from the PIECES variables. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of service quality on satisfaction and word-of-mouth communication, and the effect of satisfaction on word-of-mouth communication on the outpatients of the Regional Hospital of dr. Soebandi Jember. This is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach. The population is all outpatients of the Regional Hospital dr. Soebandi Jember. Applying purposive sampling method, the sample consists of 180 respondents. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results show that service quality has no significant effect on satisfaction, service quality has no significant effect on word-of-mouth communication, and satisfaction has a significant effect on word-of-mouth communication. Abstract

Abstract: One of the information that commonly used by investors in evaluating bank shares is the ratio of Price to Book Value (PBV). In addition to PBV, the ratio of Earning Per Share (EPS) is also considered as another important factor. This study examines the factors that affect EPS and PBV. These include Return on Equity (ROE), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Operational Cost and Operational Income (BOPO). A total of 26 banks in Indonesia is used as the sample from2009 to 2011. Data were analyzed using Path Analysis. The results show that NPL affects EPS, while EPS and BOPO affect PBV. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effects of: (1) service quality and perceived values on customers satisfaction; (2) service quality and perceived values on the image of auction sales; and (3) customers satisfaction on the image of auction sales in the State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) Jember. This research uses SEM and Analysis Modelling Structure. The population of this study is all customers of KPKNL Jember with the sample consists of 150 respondents. Results show that: (1) service quality and perceived values have significant effect on customers satisfaction;(2) service quality and perceived values have significant effect on the image of auction sale;, and (3) customers satisfaction has significant effect on the image of auction sales in KPKNL Jember. Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to analyzethe effects ofthe Investment Opportunity Set, Debt to Equity Ratio, Size, Net Profit Margin, Current Ratio, and Sales Growth on the Dividend Payout Ratio and whether there are differences in each sector of the industry. The data used in this research were secondary data, namely the published financial reports in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2011 to 2013. A total of 95 companies was used as the samples. Regression Analysis was employed to test the proposed hypothesis. The results showed that the determinants of the dividend policy are Investment Opportunity Set, Debt to Equity Ratio, Size, Net Profit Margin, and Current Ratio. Consumer goods andbasic industry and chemical industry are the industry sectors that can distinguish the Dividend Payout Ratio between these sectors and the other sectors in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the impact of communication led to employee performance through motivation to work in the Department of Cooperatives and UMKM JemberDistrict. The research approach used in this study are quantitatively using explanatory research. This study population all civil servants Department of Cooperatives and UMKM Jember District with sampling technique using saturation sampling (census) with 38 respondents. Data analysis method used is the analysis of the path (Path Analysis). The test results and data analysis were performed with SPSS show that (1) leadership style influence directly and significantly on work motivation of employees, (2) communication leadership influence directly and significantly on work motivation of employees, (3) leadership style has no effect directly and significantly to the performance of employees, (4) communication led direct and significant impact on the performance of employees, (5) work motivation direct and significant impact on the performance of employees, (6) leadership style on employee performance positive and significant impact through work motivation employees, (7) communication led to employee performance through a positive and significant impact employee motivation at the Department of Cooperatives and UMKM Jember District. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine and analyze the significant influence the perceived quality of the broadcast, the broadcast format, and the quality of the broadcaster to the satisfaction and loyalty of listeners on Radio KISS FM Jember. This research is explanatory research and using survey methods. The study population was the whole KISS FM Radio listeners who live in Jember. The number of samples in this study of 108 respondents drawn using judgment sampling technique due to the nature of a heterogeneous audience. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS software tools. The results showed that the perceived quality of the broadcast, the broadcast format, and quality broadcaster significantly affect the satisfaction and loyalty of the KISS FM Radio listeners Jember.Keywords: Radio, Perceived Quality Broadcast, Broadcast Format, Broadcaster Quality, Satisfaction, Loyalty Listener.

Abstract

Abstract: Employee contribution becomes important when it is done with effective action and right behavior. Not only the amount of effort but also the direction of the business. The nature, effort or willingness to work as well as the various things that constitute organizational support is very important for the success of employee performance. In this study, the author tries to analyze the problems faced by the administrative staff of Jember University (UNEJ). Empirical tests were conducted on 115 administrative employees to obtain data on organizational culture and leadership style that has been enough to give hope to the administrative staff. Analyzer used in this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM). From the results of model testing, it can be concluded that organizational culture and leadership style have a positive effect on job satisfaction, leadership style positively affect the organizational culture. Organizational culture, leadership style, and job satisfaction have a positive effect on employee performance. To improve the performance of administrative employees, especially the dimensions of cost control and self-reliance initiatives, it requires a bureaucratic leadership style and autocratic leadership style in an open and process-oriented organizational culture system as an effort to improve employee job satisfaction.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Leadership Style, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance
