Abstract

Waste management that is carried out conventionally or not integrated and coordinated between the government, the community, and the private sector creates new, increasingly complex problems. The Bantul Regency Government has established a Waste Management program based on Village-Owned Enterprises (the BumKal), which involves the synergy of all stakeholders. This research aims to develop and evaluate a web to optimize data management and monitoring: waste shodaqoh; waste bank; waste management place; and other BumKal programs. The process of developing a web applies the Software Development Life Cycle principles with the modified Waterfall model, which consists of stages: requirements definition; system and software design; implementation and unit testing; integration and system testing; as well as operation and maintenance. This research succeeded in developing a web to optimize BumKal program services. Efforts to evaluate web pages from unit level to overall functional integration through black box tests succeeded in achieving 100% conformity to functional aspects. The final stage of this research is to submit a web to the Environmental Service in Bantul Regency to optimize the BumKal program.

Abstract

For 24 years of operation, Alfamart has always upheld the company’s values to provide customer satisfaction. However, efforts to manage human resources as the main asset are needed to support the company’s values in achieving its goals. One of the crucial aspects in this effort is the Personnel Division, which is responsible for employee administration. Unfortunately, the process of terminating employment is still done manually and conventionally. This research explores the development of the Employment Termination Letter (e-SKBHK) website as a solution to optimize the termination process by enhancing efficiency, minimizing paper usage, and ensuring letter security through QR codes. The website development is carried out using the Personal Extreme Programming method, adapted from Extreme Programming but tailored for a single developer. This website development uses PHP language with Laravel 10 framework that applies Model View Controller architecture pattern. The test results using the EUCS method show that users are satisfied with the website developed with an average score of 4.3. While testing with the PIECES method shows a significant increase from a score of 1.96 on the current mail management system to 4.07 on the developed website. This confirms the successful implementation of the website in the aspects of performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service in mail management.

Abstract

Uneven population density will have a negative impact if not considered. One way to tackle this problem is with population equity management planning policies. This research focuses on clustering population density areas, which is the ratio between population and area in Central Sulawesi Province. This research clustering is applied with data mining techniques, namely K-Means Clustering. The research stages are data collection, data understanding, data processing, clustering, clustering review, dashboard analysis, and accuracy testing with the tableau application in providing visualization of population density in the region. Based on the results of the algorithm calculation, it produces three clusters, cluster 0 being low population density, cluster 1 being high population density, and cluster 2 being medium population density. Cluster formation is based on the visualization produced by the research dataset through Sum Of Square Error analysis, silhouette coefficient, and elbow method. Clustering is formed, followed by dashboard visualization with the tableau application. The clustering results, based on the SSE calculation, produce a value of 4324505738.747303, meaning the determination of the number of clusters with a significant difference with the calculation of the number of previous groupings. Then the results of the silhouette analysis provide the highest average silhouette value at the number of clusters, namely 3 with a value of 0.6144435666457168, and the elbow method gives the result that the elbow point is at point 3, meaning the optimum number of clusters with 3 clusters.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model in recognizing stretchingmovements that are often performed by futsal players, with the aim of reducing the risk of injury. The dataset usedconsists of 3000 images covering five types of movements: High Knees, Jumping Jacks, Lunge, Side Lunge, and ButtKicks. The data was taken from YouTube videos and processed to produce landmarks through MediaPipe technology. The CNN model was trained using the ”Adam” optimizer, with 50 epochs, a batch size of 8, and a learning rate of 0.001. The training results showed an accuracy of 94%, with the best performance on the Lunge and Jumping Jack movements, and adequate performance on other movements. The implementation of this model allows real-time monitoring of stretching movements, provides direct feedback to users, and helps futsal players in stretching with the right technique to avoid injury. This study shows that the CNN-based approach for stretching motion recognition in futsal is effective and reliable. Furtherresearch is suggested to increase the amount of training data and explore different model architectures to strengthen the model’s generalization.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Curve Number (CN) on flood discharge in the Juana watershed. Using a case study approach, analysis was carried out to understand the relationship between CN values and hydrological characteristics and flood risk in the region. The research method involves hydrological modeling which takes into account the CN value as a key parameter. Spatial and temporal data on land cover, soil type and vegetation are used to determine CN values in various land change scenarios. The study results indicate a trend of increasing Curve Number (CN) values in 5 Subwatersheds, a decrease in 2 Subwatersheds, and no change in 1 Subwatershed. The highest increase in CN value was observed in the Juana 2 Subwatershed, with an increase of (+) 0.935, while the largest decrease was found in the Gembong Subwatershed, with a decrease of (-) 0.349. Both the increase and decrease in CN values are directly proportional to the resulting flood discharge. These findings have important implications for disaster risk management, regional planning, and sustainable policy development in the Juana River Basin and similar regions worldwide. By understanding more deeply the influence of CN on flood discharge, more effective mitigation measures can be designed to protect communities and ecosystems that are vulnerable to flood threats.

Abstract

The Nahdlatul Ulama Scholarship (NUS) is a program designed to improve access to higher education by providing financial support to outstanding students. This initiative is managed by the Institute for Human Resources Study and Development of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (LAKPESDAM PBNU), which aims to contribute to creating a more skilled and educated Indonesian population, in line with the national goal of improving the Human Development Index (IPM). Recognizing the importance of affordable and inclusive education, this program aims to support students with exceptional potential who are dedicated to achieving academic excellence. This research proposes the development of a web-based scholarship application using the CodeIgniter 4 framework and SQL database to streamline the scholarship acceptance process. The application is designed to provide easy access for both administrators and applicants, enabling efficient data management and simplifying the scholarship application process. The main goal of this application is to simplify the scholarship acceptance process, improve data management efficiency, and enhance the accessibility of the application system. The system will include features that facilitate online application submission, data validation, and real-time status updates. In conclusion, this application aims to support the goals of the NUS program by offering an accessible, user-friendly platform that meets the demand for quality education while improving operational efficiency. The development of this application is expected to contribute to broader efforts to achieve these objectives.

Abstract

Mandatory E-learning is a required training for Ministry of Finance’s employees through Kemenkeu Learning Center (KLC) as LMS, where text-based recapitulation reports for participant’s feedback are not available due to large volume of participant’s evaluation data. Sentiment analysis using text mining is necessary to classify the feedback into positive, negative, and neutral labels, enabling the recapitulation process to be automated, faster, and more accurate. Using Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) framework, the process involves data selection and manual labeling, text preprocessing (data cleansing, case folding, stop word removal, stemming, tokenizing, filtering tokens by length), data transformation (TF-IDF weighting, cosine similarity measurement, and resampling using random undersampling/RUS to reduce majority label). Modeling phase compares the best combination of algorithms covers Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multinomial Naïve Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Random Forest using a 90:10 training-to-testing data ratio. This research show that SVM with cosine similarity is the best algorithm scenario, achieving accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score for negative label of 97.01\%, 96.22\%, 95.82\%, and 96.02\%, respectively, within 48.71 seconds, which \textbf{can be leveraged} to improve quality of e-learning’s report faster, more accurate, and to be automated.

Abstract

This research aims to} evaluate the success of the implementation of the Project Management Information System (SIMP) in increasing the effectiveness of work teams, by utilizing key performance indicators (KPI) as a measuring tool. In the era of digitalization, the use of SIMP is increasingly widespread in various organizations to manage projects and optimize team collaboration. However, although many companies adopt SIMP, implementation results often vary, depending on the effectiveness of using the system in daily practice. The approach used in this research is quantitative descriptive, with data collection through questionnaire surveys to team members who have actively used SIMP in their work for a minimum of six months. Some of the main performance indicators evaluated include time efficiency, quality of work results, team satisfaction, and effectiveness of communication between team members. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to assess the performance of each indicator and identify roles SIMP in supporting overall team performance. The research results show that SIMP plays a significant role in increasing the efficiency of task completion times, improving the quality of project results by reducing errors, increasing team member satisfaction with better collaboration, and facilitating more effective communication between members. Based on these results, it is concluded that SIMP implementation is able to support the effectiveness of the work team as a whole, although there are challenges such as the need for initial adaptation and training. Recommendations are given that companies carry out regular training and system maintenance to ensure the continued effectiveness of SIMP use. It is hoped that this research will provide guidance for other organizations in evaluating and optimizing use SIMP at their workplace.

Abstract

Academic information systems play a crucial role in supporting the operations of educational institutions, particularly in managing complex data. The main challenge in their development is ensuring that the process is structured, efficient, and aligned with user needs. The Waterfall method, as one of the sequential and systematic development approaches, is often used in information system development projects. However, its effectiveness in the context of academic information systems requires further analysis. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Waterfall method on improving the development process of academic information systems. The research focuses on three main aspects: time efficiency, cost, and the quality of the final output. Both quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches were employed in this study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with system developers, surveys of users (academic administration, lecturers, and students), and case studies at educational institutions using the Waterfall method. The results show that the Waterfall method provides a clear structure in the development process of academic information systems. This has a positive impact on time efficiency and the quality of the final output. However, the main drawback of this method is its lack of flexibility in addressing changing needs that often arise during the project. In conclusion, the Waterfall method is effective for academic information system development projects with stable and well-defined requirements. This study recommends exploring a hybrid approach, such as combining Waterfall with Agile, to improve responsiveness to changes in user needs in the future.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has raised public expectations for easy access to government services and information. In response, the Parigi Moutong District Government has implemented the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) with an SPBE index of 2.68, indicating that the system has been well implemented. This study employs the Enterprise Architecture (EA)methodology, based on the TOGAF ADM, with a focus on the infrastructure domain to enhance efficiency, security, and integration within SPBE. The study involves the stages of preparation, data collection, analysis, design, finalization, and validation. The identified gap is that, despite the successful implementation of SPBE, the integration of modern technologies such as AI and blockchain to strengthen security and efficiency has not yet been fully optimized. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of advanced technologies in the Enterprise Architecture blueprint for SPBE, as well as the implementation of pilot testing to evaluate the alignment of the application with real-world conditions. The research aims to develop a comprehensive blueprint offering infrastructure improvement solutions for the Parigi Moutong District Government. The results show that TOGAF ADM successfully improves system integration, bureaucratic efficiency, and public service quality. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of adjusting technology to suit local conditions and needs when applying it to other regions.
