Abstract

ABSTRACT            This study aimed to analyze the influence of career development, placement, motivation and work environment towards employee performance either simultaneously or partially and its impact on Education Department of Aceh. The research population is all employees of the Education Department of Aceh the number of 440 people. The total sample of 115 people with a sampling technique using Slovin formula. Data analysis method used is path analysis. The results showed that 1) Career development, placement, motivation and working environment have a significant effect both simultaneously and partially on the employee performance, 2) career development, placement, motivation and work environment on the Education Department of Aceh performance, 3) Employee Performance significantly affect the Education Department of Aceh performance, 4) the employee performance capable of acting as a partial mediator between the influence of career development, placement, motivation and work environment to Education Department of Aceh performance. The implications of this research, the need for policy review financial management, maximize existing resources, open job posting, giving rewards to employees and repair equipment. Keywords: Career Development, Placement, Motivation, Work Environment, Employee Performance and Organizational Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze the influence of the service quality, student’s trust and campus facilities to the satisfaction of students and its impact on student loyalty at polytechnic Indonesia Venezuela. The samples were 230 respondents active status as a student in Indonesia Polytechnic campus Venezuela. Collecting data using questionnaires and then the data were analyzed with AMOS software using statistical tools Structural Equition Modelling (SEM). The study found that the services quality, student’s trust and campus facilities effect on student satisfaction. The direct effect of these three variables on the satisfaction of students rated significantly. Service quality, and campus facilities affect the loyalty of students, while the students trust has no influence on student loyalty at Polytechnic Indonesia Venezuela. Student satisfaction effect on student loyalty. The direct effect of student satisfaction to student loyalty rated significantly. It can be concluded that student satisfaction can act as an intervening variable between the loyalty of students on the one side with the services quality, student trust and campus facilities on the other side. Keywords : Service Quality, Trust, Facilities, Student Satisfaction, Student Loyalty

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of Corporate Governance on Cash Holding. The Independent variables in this research are the insider ownership, board independent and institutional ownership, for the dependent variable is cash holding that proxied by Ln kas setara kas. This study use data of 37 companies manufacture in the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the periode 2010 until 2014. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling, is sampling based criteria. The analysis technique used in this study using multiple regression analysis with using program SPSS 21. The result showed that:1(1)insider ownership have negative effect on cash holding, (2) board independent have positive effect on cash holding, (3) institutional ownership have negative effect on cash holding. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration for the company in decision making related to the implementation of good corporate governance on firm so as to minimize conflicts of interest within the company Keywords: Independent Commissioner,Managerial Ownership,Institutional Ownership CashHolding.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of compensation and career development on employee motivation and its impact on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri branch of Banda Aceh. Samples were all employees who worked at PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri BRANCH BANDA ACEH totaling 128 employees. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that compensation and career development have a significant effect both simultaneously and partially on employee motivation and performance of employees of PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri BRANCH BANDA ACEH. Employee motivation acts as a partial mediator between the effect of compensation and career development on employee performance PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri branch of Banda Aceh. The implications of this research, PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri branch Banda Aceh need to improve the systems and mechanisms of good compensation to employees as well as creating a career development professional to be able to have an impact on employee motivation and performance of employees of PT. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to know (1) satisfaction of post purchase, purchasing decision, price, design, and residential location in Banda Aceh City, (2) influence of price, design and location, either simultantly or partially to decision of purchase of housing (3) The effect of price, design and location, either simultantly or partially on the satisfaction of post-purchase housing (4) the effect of purchasing decisions on satisfaction of post-purchase housing, (5) to analyze whether purchasing decisions mediate price, design and location influence on post- City of Banda Aceh. This research was conducted in Banda Aceh City, with the object of research is purchasing decision and post-purchase satisfaction is price, design and location with the number of respondents as many as 100 people. The results of this study indicate that the respondents have good perception of price variables, design, location, purchase decision and post-purchase satisfaction of housing in Banda Aceh City, this is because the average value for all research variables is greater than 4 in likert scale. The result of the research shows that the price, design, location both simultaneously and partially influence the decision of purchase of housing and price, design and location both simultaneously and partially influence to satisfaction of post-purchase of housing in Banda Aceh City, and also purchasing decision have influence to post- Purchase of housing in Banda Aceh City. Then the research also proves that there is indirect influence of price, design and location to the satisfaction of post-purchase of housing in Banda Aceh City. Abstract

Organizational commitment is one of essential elements in achieving organization’s goals. Highly committed employees contribute significant improvement in organization outcomes and goals. Studying what motivate employees to obtain strong commitment is important to enhance organizational performance. The aim of the study is to see what factors affecting organizational commitment using literature review method. Several essential factors are grouped into two perspectives, employers and employee’s perspectives. In employer’s stand point, role ambiguity, job control, job insecurity, career advancement, performance appraisal, and positive team experience have been claimed significantly affecting organizational commitment. In contrast, factors affecting employee’s commitment are locus of control, age and tenure in organization, task self-efficacy, culture, job satisfaction, and employee engagement. Keywords: Organizational commitment,role ambiguity, job control, job insecurity, career advancement, performance appraisal, and positive team experience have been claimed significantly affecting organizational commitment, locus of control, age and tenure in organization, task self-efficacy, culture, job satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine: (1) analyze the conditions of information technology, intellectual capital, the effectiveness of the communication and performance of employees (2) the influence of information technology and intellectual capital, influence simultaneously and partially on the effectiveness of communication, (3) the influence of information technology and capital intellectual influence simultaneously and partially on employee performance PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya (4) the effect of information technology and intellectual capital to employee performance through effective communication PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya  and (5) Effect of communication effectiveness toward performance of employees of PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya. This research was conducted at PT. Kurnia Purnama Jaya  Banda Aceh. As for the object of this study is the information technology, intellectual capital, communication effectiveness, and employee performance organization. The results showed that information technology, intellectual capital, communication effectiveness, and employee performance are already well underway. Then, the test results also showed that information technology and intellectual capital either simultaneously or partially influence the effectiveness of employee communications, information technology and intellectual capital, both simultaneously and partially on the performance of employees, information technology, intellectual capital indirect effect on employee performance through employee communications effectiveness and the effectiveness of communication affect the performance of employees of PT. Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the marketing element that affect consumer behavior is the combination of product management and promotion mix. Apple is one big company that has many users and they are very loyal. But due to lack of innovation, then the loyalty of its users were also reduced. Banda Aceh as one of the regional markets in Indonesia surprisingly placed  Samsung was in first rank  in mobile phone brand loyalty for the first time. This is quite surprising considering Samsung is able to defeat the famous Apple that  has a strong user base, loyal, and fanatical, but in fact, Samsung has a bigger share of the market. The population used in this study is the people who use Apple products in Banda Aceh City. This study the number of samples used is 120 people . Hypothesis testing was  done by using indicators CR and P. Because of the 9  hypothesis tested in this study have CR value above 1.96 or P value smaller than 0.05, Then all hypotheses tested reject Ho and accept H1. In other words the independence and intervening variables have the effect of increasing the dependent variable if only the independent variables and the intervening can be improved by Apple product manufacturers Keywords: Promotional Mix, Consumer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty of Apple product users in Banda Aceh

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of celebrity endorser on purchase intentions with variables brand crediility as mediators. The sample used in this study is 125 respondents who are people have watched Yamaha Nmax ads in Banda Aceh. Purposive Sampling is used as a sampling technique. Partial Least Square analysis method is used as an analytical method to determine the effect of the variables involved. The results of this study indicate that Celebrity Endorser effect on Purchase Intention. Celebrity Endorser affects brand credibility. In addition, the results obtained that the brand credibility variable acts as a full mediation on the celebrity endorser variable to purchase Intention. And brand credibilty effect on purcahase intention. The higher the effect of perceived celebrity endorser, the higher the brand credibility of Yamaha Nmax product, the stronger the purchase intention is owned by the consumer. Keyword: Celebrity Endorser, Brand Credibility, Purchase Intention, Yamaha Nmax.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis aims of this study are to investigate the effect of corporate branding, and brand equity on purchase decision The patien of rumah sakit ibu dan anak in Banda Aceh is a taken as a sample in this study. The method of this study employed questionnairs as an instrument. Total sampling is applied as the study’s convenience technique. Hierarchical Linear Modelling methods of analysis are used to determine the influence of the variables involved. The results of this study indicate that corporate branding have positive effect on purchase decision, corporate branding have positive influence on brand equity and brand equity have positive effect on purchase decision. This study also shows that corporate branding influential significantly against brand equity nor against purchase decision. In addition abtained results that brand equity has partial mediated the effect of corporate branding effect to purchase decision. Keywords: Corporate Branding, Brand Equity, Purchase Decision
