Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh dari variable-variabel bebas, yaitu keterampilan Proses dan tingkat motivasi belajar (motivasi tinggi dan motivasi rendah) terhadap variable terikat yaitu hasil Belajar IPA Terpadu. Disamping itu, ingin diketahui ada tidaknya interaksi antara kedua variable tersebut terhadap hasil belajar IPA Terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Tegalwaru Purwakarta. Sampel diambil dengan simple randon sampling berdasarkan factorial group desain. Sehingga siswa terpilih 76 siswa. Untuk pengujian hipotesis digunakan teknik Analisis Varians 2 jalur (Anava 2 x 2) dengan taraf signifikansi α=0,05 dengan terlebih dahulu uji normalitas dengan liliefors dan homogenitas data dengan levene. Hasil pengujian statistic menunjukan bahwa data ketiga variable normal dan homogen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa belajar melalui pendekatan pembelajaran keterampilan proses, lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan tidak melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses, dan hasil belajar IPA terpadu kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi lebih tinggi dibanding siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah, juga terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara pendekatan keterampilan proses dengan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar IPA terpadu, kemudian bagi siswa yang mempunyai motivasi rendah harus dilaksanakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement at elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta. This research used survey method for 145 principals done at 145 elementary schools in Jakarta. The questionnaires of school management based on character education through community involvement at elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta are related to inviting society to school to give spiritual knowledge, involving society to participate in school security, involving society to participate in deciding school programs containing character values, involving society to solve the school problems related to character education, involving society to get involved in school committees, involving society to give facilities related to character education to school, involving society to help to control the implementation of character education at school, cooperating with health workers to give health service to students, conducting routine meeting between school and societies to solve the problems related to character education, cooperating with society to keep environmental cleanliness at school, involving society to assist traffic security and order surrounding school, involving society to sacrifice animals on Idul Adha Day, involving society in extracurricular activities to find the trainers, involving society to find the cleanliness workers, involving society to participate in creating healthy canteen at school, involving society to participate in controlling the activities at school, involving society to participate in preventing dengue fever outbreak, cooperating with private institution in giving cleanliness service at school, and cooperating with society to conduct art performance at school. The result of study showed that the effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement higher than average scores reached 24.80 % and less than average scores reached 64.90 %. Effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement at 145 elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta reached 75.53 %. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement at 145 elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta hasn’t been optimal so that some improvement and adjustment have to be done.

Abstract

Schools has the responsibility to organize quality education in accordance with the national objectives of education. Therefore, it takes a competent educators. One effort to increase the commitment and performance of teachers is the provision of non-financial compensation. Based on the description above, this study aimed to determine the effect of non-financial compensation to the commitment and impact on teacher’s performance. Looking at these effects that were tested either directly or indirectly through intermediate variable is the variable commitment of teachers to non-financial compensation is divided into two rewards career and social rewards. This research is an explanatory research, with survey research design. Data analysis technique used to review answering hypothetical model research singer using partial least squares (PLS) with a population of 126 teachers Term Research sample 96 teachers Taken Out of a population. Research shows that commitment has a significant influence towards teacher’s performance with t-statistic result 2.406, rewarding social influences have a significant effect against the commitment of teachers with t-statistic value and costs 3,873 teachers with t-statistic value 2,860. While career rewards has significant effect on teachers' commitment against with t-statistic values of 2.589. This is quite interesting because it should be mediated by the commitment of teachers so career rewards has particularly significant influence toward teacher’s performance. This interesting phenomenon is worth for a discussion. In addition between disposals other variables such as motivation should be a material consideration for further research review.Keywords: Leadership, Islamic boarding school culture, teacher’s motivation, quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) know the influence of teacher’s competence, work motivation, and incentive on teacher’s performance at once, (2) know the influence of teacher’s competence on teachers’ performance, (3) know the influence of work motivation on teachers’ performance, (4) know the influence of incentive on teachers’ performance. This research method used in this study is quantitative research using survey. The population of the study was 127 teachers of two senior high schools and the sample was 96 teachers. The simple random sampling was applied to choose the sample for this study. The questionnaires were the instruments used in collecting data of teacher’s competence, work motivation, and incentive while the observation sheet was the instruments used in collecting data of teacher’s’ performance. The results of prerequisite test were normally distributed, linier, homogenous, do not occur multi co-linearity and neither does autocorrelation. The data was analyzed using multiple linier regression with significance level 0,05. This research reveals that (1) there is a positive significance of influence among competence, teacher’s work motivation, and incentive on teachers’ performance at once; (2) there is a positive significance of influence between competence on teachers’ performance; (3) there is a positive significance of influence between motivation of teacher work on teachers’ performance; (4) there is a positive significance of influence between incentive on teachers’ performance.

Abstract

Total Quality Management is a procedural method used in improving the quality of education in schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of Total Quality Management in primary education. This research was conducted in five Girimarto Subdistrict clusters in the year 2018. The research samples were five elementary schools divided into five clusters. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques that are using questionnaires or questionnaires to determine the success criteria for applying TQM in education to principals and teachers. The results of the study showed maximum results. The average acquisition of questionnaire calculations for school principals is 97.00 with a very good category, while the questionnaire for teachers is 94.00 with a very good category. The overall average obtained is 95.50 with a very good category. If viewed from the overall average obtained, it can be concluded that the application of TQM in education in Girimarto Subdistrict is in very good criteria. Thus, the school is concerned about asking for more primary needs in the provision of educational assistance, so that schools produce quality output.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of Teaching Factory Learning Program in SUPM Negeri Tegal. This research is a qualitative research using CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The main subjects of this research were the teachesr of Teaching Factory and the students of class XII in Fish Processing Technology. The data were collected through participant observation using interview, observation, document study, and questionnaire. The research found that the implementation of the learning program Teaching Factory in SUPM Negeri Tegal are generally in good condition. This can be seen from the evaluation result that (1). Context Components show a good category; (2).Input Components show a good category; (3) Process Components show a very good category;.and (4) Product Components show a good category. The quality of the Teaching Factory learning program can be improved by treating the aspects of the low category in each stage of evaluation.

Abstract

Children’s creativity should be developed as early as possible and the parents and teachers can use a number of methods to do. One of the methods is doing activities employing joyful learning method suitable for the children’s needs. This article discusses how creative dance can be practised to develop children’s creativity. Many parents and teachers think learning to dance for the pre-school aged children is just to practise their interest or hobby in arts exercising their motor skill. The article concludes that through interesting learning process and appropriate method, learning to dance can accommodate the needs of the pre-school aged children and is effective in developing their creativity. It is strongly recommended, the creative dance applying games and story telling methods is to be used as one of the effective activities for to develop the creativity of the pre-school aged children, as the mehtods do not only transfer movement and emphasize the learning achievement, but also transfer knowledge and emphasize creative process of learning

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop training package for intrapersonal intelligence development for the students of Educational Technology Department, School of Education, State University of Jakarta. The package was develop by employing Instructional Development Model. The research resulted in training package for intrapersonal intelligence development for the university students which is expected to be applicable or adjustable for trainings and the other universities for the similar purposes. A set of recommendation is given in using this package to be effective and efficient.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen, kualitas pelayanan PGPAUD UNJ menurut persepsi pelanggan; mengidentifikasi isu-isu strategis dan membuat usulan strategi peningkatan kualitas layanan dengan Metode QFD. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey, yang meliputi: pemberian angket, wawancara dan focus group. (1) Harapan terhadap terhadap layanan di PGPAUD UNJ adalah kualitas SDM yang menunjang (dosen dan karyawan) sehingga mampu memberikan layanan pendidikan dan administrasi yang baik: 14,28%; Pembelajaran berlangsung dengan interaktif didukung dengan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan perkembangan IPTEKs dan tuntututan kerja: 26,19 %; Efektifitas pengelolaan dan keramahandalam melayani mahasiswa: 9,52%; Lulus dengan tepat waktu dengan kualitas penelitian yang baik: 9,52%; Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana perkuliahan:35,72%; Pencitraan publik dengan memanfaatkan/membuat media informasi:4,77%; (2) Kinerja PG PAUD FIP UNJ dalam memberikan pelayanan pendidikan dinilai kurang memuaskan. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari tingginya gap antara ekspektasi dan persepsi terhadap kualitas layanan. Gap terbesar adalah 4 sebanyak 2,08%, gap 3 sebanyak 41,67% dan (3) Relevansi dan daya saing dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan sebesar 33,687%. Penguatan tatakelola dan akuntabilitas 28,291%. Pencitraan publik memiliki konstribusi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan adalah 16,435% dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia memiliki porsi sebesar 21,832%; (4) Proses perencanaan strategi dibuat usulan strategi dan penyebarannya sampai level 2 dalam struktur organisasi PGPAUD UNJ. Usulan tersebut terdiri dari 13 strategi pada level pertama dan 57 strategi pada level kedua.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan satu set produk yang dapat digunakan khususnya oleh siswa sebagai pengenalan profesi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ‘Research and Development’ yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall. Penelitian ini masuk dalam kategori "R & D" skala kecil karena hanya menggunakan beberapa tahap yaitu: penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan format awal produk, validasi format awal produk, dan revisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari masing-masing validator yaitu penilaian ahli media 90,28% (sangat baik), penilaian ahli materi 78,09% (baik), dan penilaian siswa sebagai pengguna 78,52% (sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil validasi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kartu bergambar dapat dikategorikan sebagai layak dengan persentase rata-rata 78,52%. Media kartu bergambar ini diharapkan dapat diuji lebih lanjut untuk digunakan secara efektif, lebih lanjut penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan di sekolah lain.
