Abstract

In the books of the view that prophecy is considered final, prophetic door was closed, prophecy is God's choice without the intervention of the human mind and human living must believe. This opini shows that the understanding of religious texts (Al­ Qur'an and Hadis) by not playing with textual understanding will result in a universal understanding and holistic, as prophetic discourse. But in the books stating that the prophecy does not just stop at the region shariah doctrine, but the prophecy is still going on to lead every race religion and culture. To dissect this research study can be used approach is to use a hermeneutic approach as a method of contextual interpretation is patterned.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan identifikasi kesenjangan antara kondisi pendidik, pengelolaan, dan sarana serta prasarana Sekolab Dasar di Provinsi Banten dengan Standar Nasional Pendidikan. ldentifikasi pertama mengkaji nilai kontribusi variabel pendidik, pengelolaan, dan sarana serta prasarana sekolah terbadap hasil belajar dan menganalisa dampak peningkatan ketiga variabel tersebut terbadap mutu pendidikan. Selain itu, dengan menggunakan nilai kontribusi ketiga variabel tersebut, dapat ditetapkan penentuan prioritas peningkatan berdasarkan urutan besaran nilai kontribusinya.ldentifikasi kedua tentang ketersediaan data yang mutakhir dan akurat yang dapat memberikan gambaran kondisi pendidik, pengelolaan, dan sarana serta prasarana Sekolab Dasar di Provinsi Banten. Data tersebut meliputi berbagai parameter yang digunakan dalam penentuan standar nasional pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, data tersebut dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan dengan Standar Nasional Pendidikan untuk bidang pendidik, pengelolaan, dan sarana serta prasarana sekolah.ldentifikasi ketiga berkenaan dengan kontribusi variabel pendidik, pengelolaan, dan sarana serta prasarana Sekolab Dasar terbadap hasil belajar di Provinsi Banten. Berdasarkan besaran kontribusi tersebut dapat ditetapkan prioritas peningkatan dalam komponen pendidik, pengelolaan, dan sarana serta prasarana sekolah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di Provinsi Banten.

Abstract

Dalam konteks di mana kekerasan struktural bertengger di dalam mentalitas selama beberapa abad taklid buta yang jauh dari segala krtik, kaum wanita yang tidak tahan terhadap segala bentuk dominasi, sesekali memperlihatkan sejauh mana mereka menjadi "hamba di hamba" di dalam kemodernan yang diimpikan.Sesungguhnyaa, terdapat cukup banyak literatur yang lebih-kurang membahas secam kritis tentang status wanita di dalam Qur’an, hukum dan tradisi muslim. Kita akan melihat pendekatan ini lebih cocok dengan tujuan-tujuan apologetik, ideologis dan militan ketimbang kebutuhan untuk menjelaskan persoalan yang membingungkan ini. Dengan memperhatikan aneka ragam konteks sosial politis, budaya dan hirtoris di mana Islam berada sebagai faktor di antara berbagai faktor lain, tetapi sama sekali tidak eksklusif, kita terpaksa memperluas analisa kepada beberapa data sosiologis dan antropologis.Kita akan menguji satu problematika historis dan antropologis tentang kaum wanita dalam rangka menggeser berbagai diskusi polemis, sikap militan, pengulangan setia untuk mendekontruksi mentalitas yang senantiasa menguasai wacana kewanitaan.Para pembaca, terutama para pembaca wanita, yang hidup dalam lingkungan Islami akan dapat menilai sedemikian rupa ketepatan beberapa fakta yang diberikan untuk suatu pendekatan antropologis, dan bukan saja pendekatan keislaman yang sempit, tentang persoalan wanita.Artikel ini merupakan jawaban terhadap desakan atas penulis untuk mengupas secara tuntas problema tentang emansipasi kaum wanita dalam konteks Islam. Dengan pendekatan antropologis dan historis dalam lima tataran (antropologis, semiologis, sosiologis, politis, historis) penulis berkesimpulan bahwa jalan menuju emansipasi yang optimal bagi kondisi kaum wanita dalam konteks Islam masih panjang dan berat.

Abstract

Merarik is a marriage process of Sasak tradition in which a bridegroom runs away with the bride before marriage settlement or wedding procession is conducted lawfully based on both religion and national law. Initially, merarik is merely a term of an action running away with a girl to take in marriage. However, later on, it has a wider meaning. It is extensively used to name a whole series of marriage in Sasak community. Unfortunately, nowadays the tradition of merarik is frequently misapplied as a way to abduct a girl to be married even though without any agreement of her parents. It frequently causes conflicts between two families. In this regard, merarik becomes an interesting topic to discuss because at all events, several practices of such a tradition contravene the rights of women and their parents. Women cannot make a choice a bridefroom whom they love.Moreover, under-age marriages also often occur. As a consequence, most of women stop far schools. Why does the tradition of merarik still exist in a society This phenomenon shows as if there is a legitimation of the Sasak men who have a mind to maintain this tradition. This article tries to study how Sasak community as the majority of Muslim understand and interprete this phenomenon. Key Words: Merarik, Marriage, women forcefulness, Sasak Community

Abstract

Kontak kebudayaan Peradaban Yunani dengan kebudayaan lain telah melahirkan tradisi intelektual yang sering diidentiftkasi dengan tradisi Hellenisme. Dikenal dengan daya tariknya, tradisi Hellenisme ini telah 'menggoda' banyak tokoh sarjana Muslim untuk menterjemahkan, meringkas dan memberikan komentar terhadap warisan intelektual Yunani. Kegiatan intelektual Muslim ini melahirkan apa yang disebut oleh N urcholish Madjid (1997:24) dengan 'buah' Hellenisme, neo-platonisme (falsafa), neo-skolastisisme (kalam), dan neo­ a·ristotelia nisme (mantiq).Di samping banyak yang 'terpukau' dengan, dan mengadopsi produk hellenisme ini, tidak sedikit yang menolak, mengecam dan mengkritik produk tersebut. Sejarah menyaksikan banyaknya literatur yang terinspirasi oleh, dan mengecam, produk hellenisme ini.Penulis dalam makalah ini memberikan ulasan historis terhadap sejumlah literatur yang menggambarkan sikap resisten dan kritis terhadap falsafah, mantiq dan kalam, tiga produk intelektual hellenisme. Kajian ini menjelaskan bahwa oposisi Muslim terhadap tradisi Hellenistik ini begitu gencar dan agresif sehingga di setiap period sejarah dapat ditemukan literatur yang ditulis untuk mengecamnya.

Abstract

Dalam peristiwa haji wada' Nabi berwasiat untuk selalu berpegang teguh kepada AI-Qur'an dan Hadis. Atas dasar wasiat ini serta beberapa ayat AI­Qur'an, para ulama sepakat menyatakan bahwa sumber ajaran Islam yang pertama, dan kedua adalah AI-Qur'an dan Hadis.Sebelum hadis Nabi berhasil dibukukan, ia berada pada catatan-catatan dan hafalan para sahabat Nabi, sehingga hadis Rasulullah SAW bisa sampai, kepada kita melalui· sahabat, Menurut disiplin ilmu Hadis, bahwa diantara persyaratan pembawa berita atau periwayat hadis adalah seorang periwayat harus mempmryai sifat adil, berkualitas dan kredibilitasnya baik .Keadilan, kualitas dan kredibilitas sahabat Nabi inilah yang akan kita ditelaah lebih lanjut dalam kaitantnya dengan kualitas sebuaH hadis , untuk dijadikan sumber hukum dan dalil kedua setelah AI-Qur'an sebagaimana wasiat Nabi SAW di atas.

Abstract

This article tries to study the kinds, study areas, and discourse of religious literatures in the pesantrens of Husnul Khotimah and Binaul Ummah, Kuningan Jawa Barat; to know religious discourse, especially in the areas of akidah (faith) and akhlak (morals); and to recognize the characteristics of religious theology of the pesantrens as well as the socio-religious doctrines developed in both of these pesantrens. This research is a field research. The methods of data collecting used in this research are literature study, documentation, interoiew, and participant obseroation. The characterstics of theology which are easily recognized in the the Pesantren of Husnul Khotimah and Binaul Ummah are the theology based on Asy'ariyah and Hanbali characteristics. Based on the moral (akhlak) aspect, both of these pesantrens rely it on some of Hasan Al-Bann as views, especially in the book of Rukn al-'Amal au Manhajal-Islah al-Islami Ii al-Fard wa alMujtama: i.e. the characters of Muslim generation as follow: 1) Quwwah al-Jism, 2) Matanah al-Khulq, 3) Saqafah al-Fikr, 4) al-Qudrah 'ala al-Kasb, 5) Salamah al-'Aqidah, 6) Sihhah al- 'Ibadah, 7) Mujahadah al-Nafs, 8) al-Hirs 'ala al-Waqt, 9) AI-Nizam fi Syu’un killiha, 10) al-Nafu Ii al-Gair Key Words: Theology, Religious Literatures, Pesantren, Jawa Barat

Abstract

Educationists hold varying views on the standard of today 's examinations but concur on one issue: Malaysia is producing rote-memorizers which could be behind the better results. They agree that a different approach could result in more intelligent and creative students. The younger generation could be pushed and challenged further by scrapping objective and quantitative questions and replcing them with more open-ended ones. This would allow them to be more creative besides using their intelligence. This study explores teachers' perceptions and practices on the teaching of thinking skills via questioning techniques which was conducted using questionnaires, observations and interviews. Findings showed that the infusion of thinking skills in the teaching and learning is still at the introductory stage and there are still lots of room for improvement.Keywords: education, teaching and learning, thinking skills, and questioning techniques
