This research is conducted to integrate the model, review the process andresults of the model application,and analyze the differences between theapplication of students learning outcomes using learning model VCT assisted thedocumentary film with conventional learning in social studies. This research is akind of mixed methods with experimental design. The data is derived usingobservation, documentation, attitude scale, and tests. The application of the ValueClarification Technique (VCT) models assisted the documentary film is veryeffective. It can be seen from the teacher’s observation, student attitudes, analysisof students' worksheet, students response with very good criteria, and the resultsshow the attitude scale test of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) modelsassisted the documentary film effectivein instilling the value of nationalism. Thereis a difference in student learning outcomes between experimental and controlclasses. Student learning outcomes experimental class are higher than the controlclass.

This research aims to improve the outcomes of student learning and teacher skills in learning science by implementing the experiential learning model. This research is an action class research which is done in two cycles. The subjects of this research are teacher and students in fifth grade on Bulukantil Elementary School of Surakarta academic year 2014/1015. Data collection techniques used the methods of test and observation. Based on the results of the research shown increasing in the average of studied results from cycle I to cycle II from 61, 07 with percentage of 60,7 % to 75,09 with percentage rose to 85%. The research also shown increase in the skills of teachers, on average cycle I teacher skills was 3, 11 with percentage of 48.3% (good in scale) in cycle II rose to 3,5 with percentage88.8% (very good in scale). As a result the experiential learning model can improve the quality of learning that can be suggested to apply in learning especially in natural science.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan cooperative learning tipe think, pair, and share terhadap hasil belajar PKn pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kebon Baru 10 Pagi dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas V pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2016-2017. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar tes yang dilakukan setelah materi pembelajaran diberikan lembar tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar PKn siswa, yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas dengan justifikasi ahli dan dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas baik kelas kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen. Hasil pengujian normalitas menunjukan bahwa kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Hasil pengujian homogenitas menunjukan bahwa kedua kelas tersebut homogen. Setelah dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis, maka dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan perhitungan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis kerja (H1) diterima. Dari perhitungan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan cooperative learning tipe think, pair, and share berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar PKn pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah penggunaan pendekatan cooperative learning tipe think, pair, and share pada pembelajaran PKn dapat diterapkan guru agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Early reading is a stage of learning reading for elementary school students of early grades. They learn to acquire the reading skill and techniques tosuccessfully decode passages. Learning atmosphere should be created through the language plays for reading. It goes with their characteristic of enjoying playing, Language playsplay a vital role to support their cognitive and social development. The current study aims to describe the process as well as the results of early reading through a language play at early grades of elementary school. Qualitatively approached, the current study involves participants of the first graders of the elementary school SDN BulakrejoMadiun. Data were collected through observation and documentation. Results show: (1) high achievement of average 80.7; (2) high enthusiasm specifically on the play batuloncatan (stepping stone); (3) the play could be carried out in and out of classroom and increasing their interest; and (4) headmaster, teachers and students appreciate the learning reading through the play.

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning of jigsaw method in social studies on student achievement of class III SD Pakualaman Bantul and SD Gandok Islamiyah in 2014/2015 school year. This research design uses quantitative research methods. Collecting data in this study uses the test method. The used test methods in this research are the pre-test and post-test given to the experimental group and the control group. While the data analysis is a statistical method t test (t-test). The results of data analysis t test (t-test) obtained value = 3.34. At the significance level (α) = 0.05 and with db = 38 obtained value = 1.6859. So that is 3.34 ≥ 1.6859, therefore Ho is rejected H1 accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect on the use of cooperative learning of jigsaw model in social studies on student achievement of class III SD Islamiyah Pakualaman at school year 2014/2015. Keywords: Cooperative Model Jigsaw Type, Learning Achievement

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional congklak pada mata pelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas V SDN Sukolilo 03 Kabupaten Madiun Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional congklak pada mata pelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas V SDN Sukolilo 03 Madiun Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil bahwa dari 21 siswa, pada siklus I yaitu 7 siswa yang memperoleh kriteria sangat baik dan baik (kriteria penelitian) mencapai 33,3% dengan rata-rata kriteria cukup. Pada siklus II yaitu 17 siswa yang memperoleh kriteria sangat baik dan baik (kriteria penelitian) mencapai mencapai 81% dengan rata-rata kriteria baik. Selain itu, hasil nilai siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I yaitu rata-rata kelas 72,4 dengan kriteria cukup (66,7%) dengan jumlah 14 siswa. Pada siklus 2 yaitu rata-rata kelas 82,4 dengan kriteria baik (85,7%) dengan jumlah 18 siswa. Hasil nilai siswa pada siklus 1 ke siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan dengan siswa yang sudah tuntas mencapai ≥ 80% dari jumlah seluruh siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video tematik kelas V SD kurikulum 2013 yang digunakan untuk pengantar pembelajaran tematik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development atau R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan lima tahap. (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) kajian standar kompetensi dan materi pembelajaran, (3) pengembangan program pembelajaran, (4) memproduksi media video tematik, (5) uji coba dan revisi produk. Validasi dilakukan dengan triangulasi data. Uji coba terdiri dari dua tahap: uji coba perorangan oleh 3 siswa dan uji coba kelompok kecil oleh 10 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk video tematik yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran tema 2 subtema 2 pembelajaran 3 kelas V SD. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh: (1) Penilaian dari ahli media termasuk dalam kriteria sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 3,33. (2) Penilaian dari guru kelas termasuk dalam kriteria sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata skor 3,1. (3) Uji coba perorangan dengan kriteria tinggi, rata-rata skor 2,68. (4) Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil menujukkan bahwa produk pembelajaran termasuk dalam kriteria sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 3,1.

Reog is one of the artistry enough famous from region Ponorogo and known by world society. Values found in artistry Reog Ponorogo presumably necessary are exploration furthermore to can be ingredient for tribe unity matter development and culture in course social science class IV elementary school. With artistry local superiority values implementation existence Reog Ponorogo, supposed student realizes and apply values from region culture permanently respect coalitions taste and sense of belonging towards region culture. This research aims to detect artistry local superiority values Reog Ponorogo that is used to develop tribe unity matter and culture course elementary school. Research data collecting is done gradually that is passes documentation study, observation, and interview. Technique that done gradually (triangulating) this chosen to guarantee data validity. Data is fished from informant that chosen with snowball sampling technique. Taking manner sampling with this technique is done according to related to, sample determination technique at first number little, longer more expand. In first research at first is chosen one or two person but because data to felted not yet enough so researcher looks for another person that can equip data that got from previous person. These research results show that artistry local superiority values Reog Ponorogo can be used to develop tribe unity matter and subject culture social science Class IV elementary school that is: leadership, aesthetics, and agreement.

Critical thinking in education has been widely practiced following the awareness that it helps a lot the students specifically in science subjects. In accordance with critical thinking ability in science, students who show ability on critical thinking will successfully cope with problems they encounter. Such ability hopefully works in their learning achievement. The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of creative and critical thinking on the achievement of the students of the Department of Primary Education IKIP PGRI Madiun in the class of Science Concepts II. The current study makes use of the descriptive correlational. As many as 191students enrolled the class of science concepts II in the academic year 2012/2013, out of 366 populations, serve as the sample through the proportional random sampling technique. Tests were administered to collect the data analyzed by applying descriptive analysis of double regression to assess the hypothesis in which SPSS PASW Statistics 18 was applied. Results show that there is significant correlation on the variables of creative and critical thinking on their achievement. The creative thinking contributes 20.13% while the critical thinking contribution is 21.53%. Other variables beyond this research contribute 58.34%.
