Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research is to determine the effect of macroprudential instruments on the liquidity of Islamic commercial banks. The instruments used were Minimum Statutory Reserves (MSR) and Sharia Macroprudential Liquidity Buffer (MLB Sharia) as instruments that experienced changes in value during the study period. Liquidity is calculated using the Sharia Macroprudential Intermediation Ratio (Sharia MIR) instrument. This research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data sources. The type of data uses panel data with eViews 9 data processing software. The research sample consisted of six Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, namely Bank Muamalat, BCA Syariah, Bank Victoria Syariah, Bank Panin Dubai Syariah, BJB Syariah, and BTPN Syariah with the 2018-2021 period. The study used panel data regression analysis, namely the random effect model. The results state that the MSR variable has a negative and significant effect on liquidity, the MLB Sharia variable has a positive and significant effect on liquidity and simultaneously the MSR and MLB Sharia variables have a significant effect on Islamic commercial bank liquidity.Keywords: MSR; Sharia MLB; Liquidity; Sharia MIR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of bank health at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia during 2019-2022 based on the RGEC method consisting of risk profile, good corporate governance, earnings and capital. The data collection method used is non-participant observation by means of documentation. Descriptive analysis techniques are guided by Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No. 13/24/DPNP concerning Health Level Assessment of Commercial Banks. The results showed that PT. BSI's health level bank for the 2019 period is in the healthy category with a value of 83% being in the PK-2 composite predicate. This year was the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, but from the overall assessment and analysis carried out, it turned out that it did not have much effect on BSI's health level. In 2020-2022 BSI experienced an excellent level of health. That is 86% in PK-1 for 2020 and 91% in PK-1 for 2021 and 2022..

Abstract

MSME has a massive contribution for the national economic development. In order to expanse and strengthening of the MSME sector, Islamic Commercial Banks as a financial intermediary should consider some of main factors before distribute its financing to MSME sector. This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of NPF, FDR, Bank Size and Covid-19 on MSME Financing at Shariah Rural Banks in Indonesia in the priode of 2018-2021 both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a panel data approach where the data needed in this study are from 7 Indonesia Islamic Banks with 112 of total data. The results of this study indicates that FDR and Bank Size variables has a positive significant effect on MSMEs Financing at Shariah Rural Banks. Meanwhile, NPF and the dummy variable Covid-19 has no significant effet on MSMEs Financing at Shariah Rural Banks.

Abstract

Islam emphasizes the values of outward nobility as a foundation in business practices for Muslim business people. However, not a few business people tend to practice business that is detrimental to others even to the environment. This study reviews the principles in business practice from an Islamic perspective. Sharia hotels are an attractive offer in order to improve the moral quality and character of the noble Indonesian nation. Sharia hotels are still a foreign word, especially for ordinary people. To find out whether Islamic hotels are different from conventional hotels, this study raises the formulation of the problem, namely: 1. How do marketing mix factors 7P (Product), Price (Promotion), Promotion (Place), Place (Marketing channel), People of participant ( people), Process (Physical), and Physical evidence (physical evidence) of the preferences of Muslim communities in the city of Bandung in choosing a sharia hotel? 2. How does the knowledge factor towards the preferences of the Muslim community in Bandung in choosing a sharia hotel? 3. What is the factor of religiosity towards Muslim community preferences in Bandung in choosing sharia hotels? 4. How do hotel image factors affect Muslim community preferences in Bandung in choosing sharia hotels? 5. What are the accessibility factors to Muslim community preferences in Bandung in choosing sharia hotels?The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the preferences of Muslim communities in the city of Bandung in choosing sharia hotels as a place to stay.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the stability of Islamic Rural Bank in Banten Province in the post-Covid 19 pandemic period. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach by taking a sample of 8 BPRS in Banten Province. The data in this study are semester data, namely June 2020 to June 2022. The stability measures used in this study are Z-Score and Non Performing Financing. The results found that the average Z-Score value of BPRS Banten Province was 4.67. BPRS Cilegon Mandiri has the highest average Z-Score value than other BPRS. However, BPRS Cilegon Mandiri has the highest average value of Non Performing Financing during the observation period.

Abstract

Financial performance can show the quality of the bank through the calculation of financial ratios, one of which is the liquidity ratio. Bank Muamalat Indonesia's cash has decreased for 2 years after Covid-19 and at that time Bank Muamalat's ROA also stagnated. This research uses quantitative methods using secondary data obtained from Bank Muamalat Indonesia's quarterly report 2015-2022. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. This study was conducted to determine the effect of liquidity ratios on financial performance partially and simultaneously. From the results of this study, that partially the variable liquidity ratio Current Ratio (CR) does not have an influence and is significant on financial performance (ROA). Cash Ratio (CSH) does not have a positive influence on financial performance (ROA). Working capital to assets ratio (WCTA) has a positive and significant influence on financial performance (ROA). Current Ratio (CR), Cash Ratio (CSH) and Working Capital to Total Assets Ratio (WCTA) simultaneously affect Bank Muamalat Indonesia's financial performance.

Abstract

Islamic money market is part of short-term financial instruments. The development of Islamic money market is quite rapid in recent times. This study aims to map and analyze research trends on Islamic money market using bibliometric approach. Data sources were collected from the Scopus database using the search keyword "Islamic Money Market" totaling 204 documents. Data analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software and to identify research trends, collaboration networks, and influential publications. The results showed a significant growth trend in publications on Islamic money market, with research focus on topics such as risk management and market efficiency. The analysis also revealed a strong collaboration network between researchers and institutions across different countries, with Malaysia producing the most research on this theme. The researchers with the most publications are Masudul Alam Choudhury and Salina Kassim. The study also identifies research gaps and opportunities for future research, such as the development of innovative Islamic money market instruments, the integration of global Islamic financial markets, and the role of financial technology (fintech) in Islamic money markets. This research provides valuable insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to understand the Islamic money market research landscape and guide future developments in this area.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1. The effect of e-promotion on the decision to pay zakat in zakat management organizations, 2. The effect of e-service quality on the decision to pay zakat in zakat management organizations, And 3. The effect of e-promotion and e-service quality on the decision to pay zakat in zakat management organizations. The object of this research is the Muzakki who have paid zakat to zakat management organizations both LAZ and BAZNAS, Banten Province, with 96 respondents. The research method used is quantitative. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that (1). E-Promotion significantly and positively effects decision to pay zakat in zakat management organizations. 2. E-Service quality significantly and positively effects decision to pay zakat in zakat management organizations, And 3. E-Promotion and E-Service Quality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to pay zakat in zakat management organizations. The total contribution effect of e-promotion and e-service quality to the decision to pay zakat is 21 percent, while the remaining 79 percent is effected by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

A risk is a certain event that has the potential to create a loss. Investment risk in banking is the risk that requires the bank to share in the losses from the customer's business that has been financed in profit-sharing-based financing using the net revenue sharing method and the profit and loss sharing method. This study aims to analyze the determinants of investment risk and its impact on Islamic banking and the implementation of investment risk management in Islamic banking. This study uses a literature study approach to answer the research objectives and the analytical technique used in this research is content analysis. The results of this study found that there were differences in investment risk in Islamic banking, namely mudharabah and musyarakah investment risks.

Abstract

Digital payments are growing rapidly in Indonesia, one of which is payment via QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). This payment is a unification of various QR Codes that exist in payment system service providers or PJSP. This non-cash or cashless payment with QRIS has become a trend for the younger generation because it is practical and effective. This research was conducted to analyze perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived security, which influence the decision to use QRIS in the young Muslim generation in Soloraya. The research method uses quantitative primary data, with a descriptive approach. 105 respondents from the young Muslim generation in Soloraya who have used QRIS, the sample used is non-probability sampling. The data were analyzed statistically using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. In this study, the TAM theory was used to approach the digital payment system via the QR Code, namely the Quick response code Indonesian standard (QRIS). The results showed that there was a simultaneous and partially significant effect on the perceived ease, benefit, risk, and security variables on the decision to use QRIS in the young Muslim generation in Soloraya.
